Sorry it's been so long, but I've been quite busy! Big Button addresses the main flaws with the original MacFlo: small buttons and slow animations. Button size has been inceased by 40%, and animation speed has been increased by over 50%. Hope you all enjoy it!
Please let me know if there's anything that needs fixing.
Edit: Just fyi the bottom right button on each Slab opens MacFlo Maker. These can be easily configured using MacFlo Maker to open a different program, or call a contact.

Same here!!!! The clock shows 88:88 and everything else is gone. But it is nice and smooth though...good job music!!!!!!!

I was going for the Time machine effect, where it looks like you open your desktop and there is all this space back there. oh well. I guess it's not for everyone.
I'm working on a Supernova type of transition where a sudden burst of light comes out, then subsides to show the galaxy, then the Slabs come up.

hey man...lovely program... some constructive crit. though....i hope in the future you make an app to change up the programs and apps in the cube/flo....its slightly slow as compared to the original t.flo...and it would be nice if there was a changeable background... but honestly...amazing program...installes and uninstalls without any problems...launches and minimizes properly...except when its being launched it shows a background of a different touch screen, but thats just a cosmetic effect...ill giv more feedback if as i use it...hope it helps...thanks again for something great

Can you describe the easiest way to modify the shortcut locations/change the icons? Some of the shortcuts don't work, probably because I have installed programs on the storage card vs device proper.
Is there a way to set the default page? (so the phone shortcuts always pop up first?)

Here's my little Chrismas present for you: iDiamond Project public beta
As for now, it's nothing but a fancy application laucher, but it will be developed into complex UI over time. I'm too lazy to write more, so look for yourself.
And yeah, a feedback (or even an usability review) will be appreciated.

The official beta testing period of v.0.2 is over, coz all valuable information is collected and we got into flood&flame stage.
You're supposed to stop using the beta and wait for next releases (in Feb-Mar). The beta will forcefully expire after Jan, 15th.

Regarding HTC Touch HD version:
I can not develop HD apps without actual device, and i don't think i will get any, coz it's not even sold here. But as soon a i get one (by some miraculous means), you can count on HD releases along with Diamond releases. You heard me

I don't need money for this project, coz i write it for my own pleasure, and Paypal is not available in my region anyway. I wrote it just above, but i will state it more clearly: what i really need are Touch HD (for HD version) and iPhone itself (to look how things are done there), so, if you want, you can look in the direction of fundraising via someone trustworthy in the community, but that's just an idea...

- Clock icon does nothing - it's just showing time (for now)

Upcoming features:
- Setting wallpaper
- Built-in applications: picture viewer, music player (with coverFLO), messaging, etc.
- Active icons for applications: showing number of missed calls, new messages, etc.
Tips & tricks:
- Adding shortcuts to special places/actions, like Settings and New SMS (workaround): I haven't tried that personally, but i'm sure it's possible to create a special .lnk (with special parameters) for such actions (just goggle it) and add em like regular application.

Seems very usable. I like the look. I'm a compare it to the iFonz, like that it's not an app, but I still feel that if you can seperate the bottom four icons and put the page dots above it and have the same docking look as the iPhone. You're good to go Oh and I hate the fact that I can't have TF3D and have this running on Second Today I can only have one. No bugs so far. It seems pretty fast.

I understand the UI, but wondering if it was possible to make it so that TF3D still is the main hompage, and this becomes a replacement for the programs portion of WM6. I understand that it is iPhone like, but I like the TF3D, but would love to replace the programs folder with this instead of the WM6 version. Or even replacing the TF3D programs tab with this. Using it as a today screen cuts out alot of essential info. Just asking and giving feedback.

I basically said the same thing I think it would be possible, but D-Man would have to re-code it and change it, because I think it'd be hard to keep both of them. If you're want it like this only for the programs, I suggest you look into TouchXperience by schaps which should have a public beta by christmas >.> (I've been waiting ever so patiently for him to come out with it since it looks too good to be true and it's uber awesome and I could like talk about it all day since it's so awesome, but I won't because it's going to clog my whole post with TouchXperience)

To me (personal opinion) this is more of a app launcher (a nice one at that), and as far as TouchExperiance, I gave up on it and I think it has been abandoned.

it somehow slows down menu popup when im in app launcher thou, not at home screen
one more thing is sometimes it will restart itself when u add a shortcut, and u have to add a different shortcut instead of the one causing prob, then only able to add the one afterward

thing is, i want to have those vista like 3d gradient menu bars in my htc black theme. i searched this forum, the registry in my phone (found things like basehueexpress, color_titleflat/color_captionflat reg keys...), but nothing worked.
can you please help me 'unflat' those bars? i'm tired of this solid black...

You can't - not with black anyway. The best you can do is grey.
Search for UI Tweaker, RC Mod and ThemeGen CE

yeah, a literally "black gradient" will be solid black anyways - i meant i want everything from the htc black theme, BUT with grey-to-black-gradient no-flat bars.
themegen ce is a thing i've already come across, besides it couldn't load the orig HTC Black.tsk file - i might re-create a black theme with non-flat bars, but (i suppose) this is something someone else around here has already done before. dl link anyone? :-D

Ok, i got task manager program with a regeditor and i changed that value to 160 but now it is a turquise/green colour! im not sure what is goin on now!
It was decimal that i needed to select. Sometimes im just dumb!!!!! no more pot for me before i decide to play with my phone

PS. I haven't tried this myself on the Diamond, but I had it on my older devices.

BaseHueExpress would do the trick _after_ selecting guava bubbles theme, to avoid reg editing.. it has no effect on the original htc black.tsk theme, cause the 'flatness' and 'blackness' is kinda hardcoded into this theme. Though its a good app for quickchanging the magical basehue value without manually touching the registry

Copy one (or all) of the three folders to your device, Storage recommended.

Attention all graphic guru!!!
I Think its time to make WM 6.5 Unique!..
The stock icons are ugly.. and the iphone icons are played out!..
I was thinking that since WM6.5 start menu has the offset honey comb layout.. we could start making Honey Comb icons to be used with re/Start to change the start menu icons..
I suggest making them a little smaller than the actual honey comb place holder so that there can be adequate spacing between icons..

actually...i suggest that the icons be made in resolutions higher than the actual place holder so they can be easily scaled as to user preferance.

Its an open challenge.. Im working on some right now.. but my graphic knowledge is weak.. so Im just putting it out there for the more experienced graphic gurus to join if they'd like..
Im just tired of us WM users using the square iphone imitating icons.. I know we're better than that..

I'm not sure I quite understand the concept of "honeycomb" icons... Do you mean just making thim hexagonal?

yeah.. because the icon layout for the WM 6.5 menu is offset in the honeycomb pattern.. I figured making hexagon icons will fit the layout..
I know a lot of people don't like the new start menu.. but that's what's in WM 6.5.. so why not just work with it.. at least until someone create a better looking start menu to replace the WM one.. haha.

Man.. Im excited.. we're on the right track.. Just one more thing though..
the icon size.. some people have the Large icons due to 3 rows stat menu.. but most people are acually using the 4 rows which require smaller icons..
does any one know what icon size is for 3 rows and 4 rows?.. the reason why i suggested the icons be made a little bit smaller than the actual place holder is because i want to allow some space for the program name under the icons..

Those are pretty nice. Though I think it's odd that there's a round highlight.

Wrong way round
Hi there, thanks for this. The graphics looks really ace. Just one question though. I have it installed and it seems as though it is the big icons that are in the back ground and when the slider moves over them they get smaller (I thought the purpose of the slider was to zoom in on the icons). Thought I would point this out incase it was unintentional. Or it could be something on my phone doing the wrong thing.

I think that is how it works too...not sure...on the other tabs like in contacts they seem to stay the same size.
I used HDWall to create it and all the images were the same size for both large and small icons and just had HDwall resize it.
I thought the icons stayed the same size and the large ones appeared in the middle of the screen. It is hard to see the tab with your finger on them when you are sliding so I am guessing the larger ones are suppose to be in middle of screen.
Will look into it though.

can i use this on my htc fuze thats vga?? im guessing that i can but would like to be certain before i do to save myself some problems!!! they look bad ass btw!!! and are these your own mock up or the actually ones from the htc mega?? does this also have all the tf3d v2 12 icons cause i only seen 11?

They are all from the Mega device except for Stocks and Calendar. The Calendar is from WM 6.5 and the Stock is from some website I found online. I just touched them up and used HDWall to import them.
I would guess they would work on a VGA device. Give them a shot and let me know. They will uninstally properly, well they should

I can confirm they work on VGA with TFLO3D2. Looks great!

Haha...I saw it after I posted mine and I was hoping you did not think I copied yours. If I knew you did it I would have just used yours and saved some time Thats why I did not post over there --->

Sorry I am not a graphic artist...just a low lever modder The icons were already like that in the ROM and all I did was use HDWall to make slider.

Update again
I updated the files once again. In the current slider the icons go from big to small as you slide in the new version it is more like the OEM. It was pointed out earlier in the thread and just "fixed" it.
