Hi,
this application with nice start menu will not run on my Hermes.
Can anyone find the errors?

Hi Starbase64
At their webpage they say:
"The final version of eXPerience, version 2.09, is not compatible with Windows Mobile 2005."
Maybe some of the older versions will work on WM5. Good luck,

This particular version, or the older one? Anyway - I am going to try it myself.

Update: Version 2.09 always crashes on WM6 Hermes.

It only works if you have your fireproof outfit on - such an approach tends to be extremely flammable

This app was ten times better than WA. Quicker loading,stable,easy to customise.....Those were the days...

Finally it works on the i780 with the latest rom (HC1,HC4,HD1)!!!
Now I'm waiting for the QVGA version.

Works on my 6.1 devices.

man...i've been uninstalling and installing opera 9.5 so many times in the past few days, its crazy...but i look forward to playing with this when the QVGA version is available.

Have no clue but you can type "opera:config" in the address bar and I remember seeing something about that in there....but i could be mistaken.

[REQ]Business card reader

Hi!
A friend of mine has the Samsung Omnia and i saw a nice Application.
You take a picture of a bussines card and the program recognizes the words and you can make a contact imediately.
Is there such an app for the diamond? I searched the forum but i didn't find it.

Not aware of one for the Diamond but with Office 2007 Mobile you get OneNote, if you take a picture of the biz card in there, next time you sync with your PC the full version of Onenote will do that for you.

Unfortunately not all european version. I have an italian one and there's no trace of it, even on the cd.

World Card Mobile works.

[UTIL] qVGA to VGA Theme transformation tool for ThrottleLaucher and ThrottleLock

I've created a little tool for theme designers / VGA users that will allow to perform an automatic transform of ThrottleLancher and ThrottleLock themes from qVGA format to VGA.
The application looks for all the png files inside the specified folder and performs a x2 transformation using high quality bicubic interpolation (that's lot's more smoother than the one performed by PPC devices). Ofcourse this can be used for other app's too.

It will work as long as you can get the original PNG files ... I don't know how SPBMS stores the files... I've never tried to skin it...

Yes it is ... AFAIK PocketPC doesn't have the libraries to perform that kind of interpolation .... It they where there I would have made it PPC compatible...

he said that he wasn't prepared to release it just yet when I assumed he was, but he released it anyway.. so, maybe you guys should watch him improve it a bit before you plan this.. no need to have three virtual shotguns right? since there already is one apart from g-shotgun...

Not sure why you need a new device to set a microsoft windows application from one supported device to another. The biggest change is the screen resolution wich is 640*480 for the diamond

dunno why but after choice a gun i cant do anything ... gsensor didnt work
and i can tap only 2 buttons ( close and treat off )

No, that's not the biggest difference... The g-sensor hardware is different! That's the difference.
