I think the white bar would be the easy bit, changing the font colour for clock and notifications could be the hard be as .xml files in the framework would have to be edited. That is beyond the scope of what I could do. There might be someone here who knows where they are kept.
Unfortunately i too can't help you in this case, but i have something to think of for you if you have an AMOLED display...
AMOLED uses nearly no energy for black parts of the screen which is superior to LCD displays. But when showing white pixels, i heard AMOLED uses 3 x more energy compared to LCD.
So, as a sideeffect, the dark sense gui is perfect for energy saving too! ...i also use a dark background!
Thanks for that info
I do have an amold screen. I will revert back to black.

Hey guys, i did a test with two omnia 7s and this is what i got
I got an omnia last december (left) and another a month after (right).
There is a blue tint on the left omnia's screen. the screen actually looks duller than the other. It's less bright and has slight colour differences.
I'd like to note that omnia on the left had a blue tint with the screen protector on, and it appears to be the same even after i removed the screen protector (which is what you see in the pictures)
Maybe you guys with omnia want to tell us how your omnia's display looks from an angle then we can see if this blue tint issue is truly normal or not

It only shows in stock apps with black background because it was designed that way. But if you open a pure black image you won't see these textures.

Hi, this is called screen blotching and is common on AMOLED screens. It can be seen here
http://img813.imageshack.us/img813/8917/image2l.jpg
Read here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/ra...pport/237016-amoled-has-black-spots-dark.html
So I shouldn't be worried? It won't affect the screen?

****, It;s really annoying me! I'll contact the place where I bought the money to see if I can get a replacement. " Even without Warranty I've 14 days to replace it if had any Manufacturing Defect " .. :/ My mobile status is Custom but it worth a try anyway.
No, S4 is different. On latest firmware, It will turn off pixels completely on truely black color.
So that blotch will never be seen even if it is actually there. The amoled before S4 does not turn off pixels on truely black color, that's why only S4 has smearing problem.

Well even if you get a replacement it will do the same thing. Not a defect, just a downside to the super amoled screen.

Hey! I contacted the store I bought it from, They told me I have to go to customer service and they'll check the phone,if it's software they'll solve it. if it's manufacturing defect they'll replace it for me.. the problem is my phone status is custom. " installed stock rom UBUBMF3 and rooted it. " I'm I9500 and Triangle Away doesn't work.

Just relax. Your hardware is not defected. Just do on thing. Google jet black wallpaper. Download it and save in gallery. Open it in full screen in complete darkness. Your screen should look totally black like it's turned off.

grrrr.... are you expecting the screenshot from the MOVIE, or app with shaded background to be completely, uniformly, BLACK??
I have bad news for you... all your equipment: TV, photo camera, laptop/PC, and whatever else with the screen have same fault: will not produce 100% black picture from non-100% black origin.
-.- the same photo I open on galaxy S III doesn't have the blotching on it!

what you described sounds like what happens on my new crappy screen. Samsung make Amoled screen panels which are excellent quality and based on LED technology. the fake cheap copies and based on LCD technology which doesn't cope with shadows (goes pixelated and off colour) and has bad contrast range and an uneven hue to certain parts of the screen. I know because I'm stuck with one myself...
looking at the top of the panel where the word Samsung is, the black surround if you have black is actually a 3D textured effect. the copies are more dull flat grey than black.
if this is what you have the only thing you can really do to improve the quality is adjust the brightness levels until the visual artifacts are at their minimum. you won't have proper toughened gorilla glass if it's fake so you should easily be able to scratch an out of the way part of the screen to test it.
Hello i just bought s10+ well o had s9 plus, i dont see any differences.. only the colour of the screen is kinda purple why?
I tried to change the white balance nothing changed
Anyone?
Please?
I mean when I change point of view while watching my phone it's kinda purple :/ does anyone notice such a thing?
if there is a screen protector remove it.
There should not be any purple tinge. Did you buy the phone new? If not check that the finger sensor works, as it might be a after market screen. If it's new, then return it.

No, have never seen any amoled screen do this. Usually a tn panel shows this type of behaviour. Does the in screen finger print reader work?

It could be 2 things if you see like pink/purple coloring on screen especially on white background that's burn in
Another thing s9+ that i had under display there used to be an option in screen mode i can't remember the name i think it was called Cool or something that gave the screen than pinkish purple hue
Fingerprint working fine
He said he didnt change any screen and we would tell me
Also he had many positive feedbacks on the site that i purchased it
Might be something with purple or red colour settings
:/ Dont know..

I wish i could help you i know the feeling when you buy tech and you trust that there's nothing wrong with it but end up with problems.
Try making a few screenshots of the settings inside display and the home page post it here
