hi sorry if this has been asked before but all my serches on the interweb have not given any results im new to the xda thing only had one for 2 weeks my ive had no problem working out how to flash roms or install programes the only thing i cant do is install pharos sdio gps card it just dont work so anyone with a bit of knowledge on this please help also unable to send mms with wm6.1

I already sucessfully change into new rom using SD bootload...STILL my XDA doesnt show any RSU version and hanging in loading OS
STILL NO HELP :-( please... i can cahnge my ROM version now due to my sd memory card thru bootloader. The problem is still unknown RS version. I cant have RSUpgrade due to 1% hangs. It is a sad fact that many gsm errors render the xda useless as a phone, it maybe that you have now only a pda.
it is truly sad.. i tried to test 1 board of xda to my xda yet its a failure . i need a board w/ a good condition. this is the only easiest solution to this problem, changing board. No one here i think can help to have a software recovery. how sad! :-(
hope WE CAN SOLVE this ISSUE ASAP... to help many XDA users with dead phone.

I've tried a lot of roms, rsu's, with and without sim card. No success. I also wait for a hardware solution with european location...
Hi guys i need some help if anyone can guide me how to fix my problem. I have an htc touch cdma it has been working fine for more than a year but recently it started rebooting some times or if it reboots it doesnt start again and i have to remove battery and other thinks for it to start. Reading the forum here i got some info about bricked phones so i used the gold card but i dont have the shipped rom because i parchased the phone as a used one. Any of u guys backup his phone before upgrading it and can send me a link to get the shipped rom that would be very helpfull or any other sugestions on my problem and how to fix it and also how to remove the ( test only ) screen that has from the gold card use.

u shouldnt have used the goldcard, that for solving a completely different problem. if your phone starts then it is NOT bricked.
u have to do a lot of reading to get some facts straight, anyway i think u have a hardware problem.
u have a vogue (touch cdma) this forum is for the elf (touch gsm).

I'm goin' crazy, gps on my diamond, doesn't work.
i've installed ttnavigator but the integrated gps doesn't catch any satellite. There is someone can helpe me?? can anybody tell me if there's an app. that can reset or restart the itegrated gps?? please help me!!!

try deleting following and soft reset:

\windows\GPSLogFile.txt
\windows\GPSLogFileBack.txt
\temp\xtra.bin
an do not update the gps positions

I've been finding I'm having problems this week using TTNavigator (when I didn't have problems before)... I'm wondering if something went wrong with my GPS Update?
I'm using Nav N Go iGO Amigo and Igo8, sorry but I do not know about TT. about once a mount I'm deleting these files, allso you can try to download HTC GPS Tool from http://www.htc.com/www/supportdownloadlist.aspx?p_id=133&act=sd&cat=all
Actually I don't expect anything else from this phone since I have it for about 2 years, probably the system is already modified and the phone is to old for it.
there's a GPS fix on htc site for touch diamond.. it's the only thing that helped me after two weeks of searching... good luck...

Delete xtra.bin in the Temp folder and the Windows folder, and soft reset.

ok guys need a bit of help.yes i know Noobie alert..Right ive just managed to upgrade 2 orange htc blackstones on a danish rom with no problems..but this XDA GUIDE is just frustrating me i have read so so many tuturials and must have at least 50 pages bookmarked and endless amount of programs ruu and unlockers but either get update error or id vender errors can someone please just point me to the right areas as none of all the 100's ive tried work..
the only flash that has gone through is the official one.so dont think its a problem with usb connection but any help appreciated.

I'm kind of in the same boat.... I found my old Dopod 838 Pro and thought I would bring it into the 'now' and give it to the kids.

I have the same problem...actually, I have a few more than that when it comes to my newly acquired Hermes. I love it but am struggling to unlock via SD method and also that the phone s language is in Spanish doesn't help.

I have a few roms and tools that I used back in the day, I would have to dig them up though, so give me a day and I'll upload and post the links.
I renamed some of them to HEMIMG.nbh to flash them so I can't tell you exactly what they are as I have no clue anymore but hopefully the others will help you.
Also, you should try digging through old p2p like dc++, emule.. they are still widely used. They might have something there.
That's all I have left from the old days.
