I've seen the program beer on the internet for the iphone. its a app that simulate a full beer glass (see video link),
there is also another program for the nokia n95 called pypiwo that's simulating a beer to and many other drinks.
I thinks it's a very nice idea for a new app for the diamond .
it's not a very difficult concept, the only hard part is the graphical stuff(i think don't have much experience on making programs and graphical stuff ).
i'd love to make this app by my self but i don't have the knowledge for it (any tips/lecture for learning how to make this apps for the diamond is always welcome: D)
but to the point this thread is for your thoughts about this and to find someone to make this

also nice Iphone app that would be great on diamond:
I Guitar (i wish i had that on diamond : D)

the guitar programm would be useless for the diamond cause it dont hase multitouch.
And the beer stuff can wait.. its funny the first time and then?
looking forward for some real usefull programms
svenss there is no ibeer app for the iphone, its just a lame trick, its just a pre-recorded video of bear, and what you do is sync the video on your iphone through itunes and then its all about timing, you just have to remember when the bear poures out, you run the video using the iphone and tilt it just at the right time, it does not make use of the g-sensor/accelerometer at all, its just a simple stupid video.
But im sure an app can be developed that can trully utilise the g-sensor but that would be a waste of time for developers as it would only be amusing for a day or two, your better of just downloading the video, convert it to something windows mobile can play.
no offence but i think that there are many better ideas than this
hahaha, that guitarr app seems really cool. Sad it doesn't work on the little diamond

You guys complain about a beer app being useless, but what use is something as a Lightsaber app? Though that gets praised sky high! I think it's a funny idea, shows off the accelerometer of te Diamond which is bloody accurate and perfect for this stuff. Would love to make an app like that, if only I had ANY knowledge of programming
I wouldent mind playing around with beer app at all.
How can I help?
lol its a idea i found but i cant make make apps,
sow how can i help you?
if you can make it, than it should be very cool
This >does< exist on the N95 and unlike the iPhone, works with the acc. meter.
I had it myself before trading it for the Diamond and had that software installed on the phone.
It was pretty accurate in the way I lifted it, the beer would move.
While it is a "waste" - I think it's a nice gimmick to have on the phone, whether its to show off or just some entertainment - like any other game that would be on it
I would love a beer program. That would be AWESOME to show off with at a party!
That could be a good learning app, maybe in a few weeks when I get my Pro I could try writing it.

I love the phone but cant stand windows choppiness makes the phone useless... im coming from a Iphone 3gs.. i can use the iphone 3gs hardcore use all day without having to reboot it cause it gets slooowww and unresponsive...hd2 have to reset around 5 times daily.. wtf? camera pictures are stunning that's what kept me using it for 4-5 days ..i tried couple of tweaks and stuff. last one im using is BsB tweaks that seem to work good.... lets talk about typing..............OMG!!! lol suck ass i thought i need it to get use to the phone but not at all .. its just bad and it kinda make pissed cause i know is windows. why but why in the earth HTC loaded windows in this such a beautiful phone? ..i hope when the EVO comes out someone please please do the ROM from the EVO into the HD2.. this phone need to run android..........
and please be honest... the phone gets very choppy after texting and texting and sending mms ... i call that normal use...
so im going back to iphone until a miracle happens .. android ROM for the HD2
same situation here, why the hell cant this phone just function like its suppose to? everything..... i mean everything is a god damn project with this phone. if this phone had the iphone os... for me at least itd be the perfect device.
Either you love it or you hate it! So far I love it!
I don't have the issues anymore.................I returned mine.
Put on a custom ROM and the days of rebooting/choppiness will be long gone.
Frankly speaking, TMOUS stock rom is the best rom so far I have used with windows mobile (forget about the interface thing, it's the most stable one I have ever experienced. Even custom roms got bugs here and there), and I never have to reset the phone due to any bugs or performance issues... I just can't help but to say I love my HD2
Can u please link me to that ROM. I really want to keep using the hd2. I'll give that one I try
To be honest, I was ready to return both of mine. Then I disabled Sense and installed spb shell. All my issue have disappeared except the daily reboot on one(waiting on T-Mobile to get some in stock to send me a replacement). The keyboard does not hang anymore, and I type fast. The keyboard is acurate now too. The only problems I have now is the network, but I can't do much about that. Stick with the stock rom and do what I did. Also, keep using the bsb tweaks. It really does help.

Feel the same. Since I brought the phone home, has been flawless. Top notch performance.
My only concern is not the phone but, T-mobile's network.
Thank you,
Monnie
Disabling SENSE kinda takes away the beuty of the phone.
i don't think its windows i think is the damn t-mobile rom or the first batch of phones i say exchange it cause i had the touch pro 2 and i would just get maybe a message and email bug. but i do see where you coming from and believe me i had problems with all the phones i had with a lag when i had over 1000 sms my nokia n82 would lag android installing and syncing 2 years of calendar appointments went bunkers I think as tech gets more advance software gets more buggy. but if you find the iphone way more useful i would tell you go for it no device its worth a headache lol

Damn, I love this phone but Im annoyed with the Messaging lag and not to mention the lag with the onscreen keyboard. When I bought this phone
I was thinking I would get used to the keyboard like on the Ipod Touch
but boy was I wrong. Im not going to lie to you guys, even the Keyboard on the
Zune HD is better than this phones and its a shame because of the screen size.
I installed the sensitivity cab so it could decrease the sensitivity but it didnt help at all.
Not to mention Sense crashing on me if I try to load some picture on the photo album. POP OUT THE BATTERY LITTLE KID
BSB tweaks help for battery life I guess.
I AM SURELY GOING TO MISS MY MIGHTMIKE ROMS ON MY SPRINT TP2.
I love my HD2
Are you using the task manager? The only reboot i have done is on updates that require it. Set your call button key to open task mager on holding the call button. I always use end all tasks before locking the phone, and it is ready and waiting on the next unlock. I had to do the same on my wing and shadow. I love this phone. I have had an iphone, g1, sidekick. But to me Windows mobile is so much more customizable than the other phone OS'. My first smarthphone was the Shadow and got me hooked on windows mobile.

thats what bugs the sh*t out of me about this phone, yes its not the phone issue itself, but winmo6.5m. but having to install a rom or program just so the X button on the upright corner, will ACTUALLY CLOSE the program instead of minimize it and stay in memory, while draining resources?!? thats a great idea!! why should i have have to use a damn task manager to close a damn program...
Get an HTC Desire or Nexus one.
Best of both worlds: Hardware like the HD2, software like the iPhone (much better than the iPhone, actually).
IMO it's much better than both the iPhone and the HD2, cause the whole package is consistent. Great hardware, great software. Android alone is worth it (much better than both iPhone OS and Windows Mobile), but with great, HD2-like hardware, there's nothing that can even come close to the Desire/Nexus.
Nexus One suck a$$... That's why I returned it... Piece of cr****.
Disable email on HD2 stock ROM and your re-booting problems will be gone...
I know..... Some peeps need email , but some is not clicking there.
Just my 2-1/2 cents... LOL
I second the opinion that the tmous stock rom is pretty dang great. Sense UI is the primary culprit behind any sort of slow down. It's great eye candy, but spb mobile shell is much less resource intense.
Why would u want to disable ur email on this phone just to make it "better"? It's like buying a new car and get rid off the headlights !!! U need emails ! and I shouldn't or better say we shouldn't disable ANYTHING to make this phone better. It has balls to run anything ! He's just going to sleep for a while until a updates come or something
btw after playing with a screen this big anything else looks crappy lol
I know you guys have seen a million of these threads, i thought my thoughts on this phone would change. I have taken a lot of your suggestions. I have Flashed the phone, to try to get rid of the laggyness and freezing. I am running RSTG Sense UI rom, and while the phone is a little faster. I am still getting freezes, restarting, it never properly updates facebook/twitter/weather, without freezing. I really want to keep this phone, but the allure of the nexus One is starting to become too much, especially after watching my buddy pick up a Droid and playing with it.
I just want to know what i am doing wrong, i haven't installed any programs on this, i have a few albums, the pictures that came with it, basically what i am getting at is, i did not put anything on it, to make it this sluggish, 15 mins before i decided to type this, my phone froze, i tried to check an SMS from the GF, and couldn't get past the unlock screen, it just keep freezing.
I am open to suggestions, i want to keep this phone, but it sounds like Android for the HD2 will never happen, from what i heard, its still a good year away, and even with the release of the EVO, we still aren't promised to get an android release for the HD2. I am able to deal with Winmo, i have a touch pro and a fuze, hacked/flashed to death. So it's not entirely winmo.
I just need to know whats a good ROM to run, i have the utmost respect for all the devs that cook these ROMs, and put the time and effort into making them, but i need one that is going to make my phone stable, and not crash. I went through a lot to get my Dream phone, only to find out, its been a nightmare since getting it.
So i am turning to you guys, what can i do to make this phone a little more stable. Please spare me the usual crap talking. I am asking because i really want to keep this phone, and i have tried the flashing. This phone should be butter and not hiccup this much.
Any help is appreciated and wanted. Thanks for reading, and i hope i was clear enough. I read these forums everyday, so please don't tell me to search, hell my GF hates that i got an HD2, cuz i lurk here 24/7, i wake up and go to sleep reading XDA lol.
Get a nexous one
get the nexous one
The HTC/Sense SMS app is the cause for most of the problems of this phone. Disabling it completely and using the Windows SMS app would prevent much of what you're describing. Regardless of what ROM you use, if you use the HTC/Sense SMS app, you're asking for trouble.
I have the Kumar Premium 1.5 and don't have issues. Once in a long while, the phone will slow down, but then it's back to normal. I also use MMTaskManager and cleanRAM regularly to make sure I don't have lingering things in memory that could take up resources since I've been downloading and installing apps more than usual.
But, that said, I say get the Nexus One. If you need someone else to convince you to keep the phone after you've had it for a while and already tried a few things, then my guess is you'll find some other niggles about the phone that will irritate you down the road. Better to cut your loses and get the Android phone.
Good luck!
Well Divx movies, 4.3 inch screen and its a phone that you can browse the internet...Is it perfect.....Hell NO!!!!!!! Does it have to be restarted all the time..Probably 5 times a day if your running apps. It freezes all the time. I run custom roms. Is there a better phone? Not until EVO with android. By that time Skyfire will be out of beta for flash support and maybe the kernal further along supporting more video formats... I had the NEXUS loved it.."i lost it".but to slow on tmobile. Now i have a 4.3 inch screen i cant go smaller only larger.
I will try to disable the SMS setting and use Windows, and i agree, once you have a screen this big, its really hard to go smaller, thats why i posted here. I just want some tips on how to make this thing run properly. A phone with these kind of specs, should not have these kinds of problems. A little slow down here and there is understandable, but the constant freezing/restarting is annoying.
I don't want to just get rid of it, maybe i should try another rom after i change those SMS settings.
Any other suggestions on how i can make this phone perform the way it should be performing?
i really want to keep it.
Oh and i always use task manager.always.

That's what she said
try another ROM, and try disabling some of the tabs in sense you don't use. Sense is the biggest culprit to crashes in my experience. No matter how powerful they make the HD2, if you keep a resource hogging piece of software running perpetually, it will slow things down. I close the tabs I don't use to minimize the performance draw. You can also try turning off the weather animations and the weather screen altogether. The weather animations are only fascinating for about a day anyway.
Trying another ROM is always a good route. I've used Kumars and Energy so far...both are very stable for me, and hardly ever crash.

Thanks for the reply, i was thinking of using Kumars, i keep hearing great things about it. I don't want to turn off the weather animations cuz they always amuse me lol.
i am using engery rom the apr 9 regular 21898 very fast and stable rom for me so far.
after use it for 2 days just find out most the crash was cause by opera mobile 10 so i either change to the opera mini 5 which almost the same with the opera mobile 10 or i need to EXIT it competely. and by the way did you hard reset you hd2 after flash to the new rom? it will help for the lacking issue too
Turn off the security code on the lock screen! That thing mucks the phone up and slows it to a snail. My wife's was constantly freezing with that option on.
Also search here, download and install QuikMenu 2.8. Set the XButton to close on short tap and minimize on long hold. Then set it to close Activesync. Then go to pg 2 and make the size 16 or greater to make it pretty. FYI QuikMenu only works with roms that have the Start Menu on top. If you use one with the Start Menu on the bottom use Xtask. Having these programs will eliminate tons of programs running in the background but give you control over which ones will and won't.

If you're going to try Kumar's, he's coming out with a non-HTC Messaging version of his 1.6 soon. I'm waiting for that and his Titanium version that doesn't have Sense at all to try.
I've heard that the Elegancia w/o HTC Messaging may be an option as well.
Well, if you do decide to eventually sell it...
I'd strongly suggest investing in another Android handset. Perhaps the upcoming, myTouch Slide. It's quite a marvel in comparison to the original fan-favorite, the G1.
The build quality is excellent too, most likely it will feel, "less fragile" and easy to snap than our HD2. LOL!
^^lol no i am okay, think i will stick with the Nexus One, its the phone i always wanted, just decided to wait, because i knew the HD2 was coming soon. Thanks for all the tips guys, i did get an interesting offer, a Nexus One and 200 bucks. it;s tough, thats a nice chunk of money and a good phone lol. Still thinking about it.
I do know i need to try another ROM, this one is slowing my phone down like crazy, i haven't have to do 3 restarts in a day, in a very long time, since my early TP days. but i will try everything you guys recommended first.
I hate to say it but I have the exact same feeling about this phone... I'm Sitting on the fence between selling it and sticking it out. I really just bought it for hardware reasons thinking it was gonna slap it to my TP2 but I'm more into the Android OS. Granted Windows can DO a lot, Android has a market place that I don't have to waste that much money on. In A lot of ways I wish this was a nexus one lol
Currently I'm using the T-Mobile My Touch (rooted) / TP2 - NRG ROM / and now the HD2 - NRG rom blah blah blah

HD2 is the best phone ever. If you are really into it you will feel its power. I like cooking ROMs myself and I really enjoy the feeling of tweaking the phone just like it was made for myself.
Well, to be honest, HD2 is not suitable for everybody. If you want a cellphone that is easy to use, then it may be good to get an Android phone or an iphone.
I bet people who love HTC and Windows Mobile mostly are not afraid of software issue and willing to conquer all the problems. They will eventually make this phone work for themselves.
I remeber testing my frieds winmo 2003 back in high school and getting my first HTC wizard, winmo was beautiful back then I have had 7 winmo phones and You get use to reseting the phoene 5 times a day and dealing with other crap
however when the android came out and it completely change everything Now there was another option (I hate the iphone I think its over priced for a stupid friendly phone that's missing a lot of things that ny PPC2003 was already capable of doing) soon I have to go back to android
YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME unless you can deal with the laggingnes rebooting 5 times a day apps that are not compatible with every winmo phone all on asuper expensive phone (lol with the same money you can get a N1)
i dont understand why everyone keeps saying this phone lags i have had this phone for 2 weeks now and has only frooze up on me once. the only time my phone reboots is when i install a program that is recommended reboot after install. i dont get any laggs what so ever i am a power user from web to games to music videos pictues gps on a daily basis and trust me i know what it is dealing with lagg is because i hated the tp2 it would freeze up everyday take for ever to load programs always error this error that. so i think maybe you should exchange it for another one maybe its that phone.
also maybe it could be that when i 1st got the phone i did all does registry tweak that boost the performance on the phone in the general thread. maybe you should do hard reset and then the registry tweak.

That's a very good deal. I'd be all over that if I weren't using my HD2 as my work device. Hell if I ever ran into a Nexus One for 200 bucks, I'd sell my iPhone in a heartbeat.
Honestly, unless you really need WM functions, and if you can live with a smaller screen, the Nexus One is the way to go. The screen on the Nexus One may be smaller, but that AMOLED screen is lovely....very deep blacks, even though the colors are a little over-saturated. Can't wait till that technology comes over to full sized TV's.
It was quite a change going to the HD2. I sat in the store playing with one for 2.5 hours before I decided to get the HD2. I knew it was going to be a learning experience coming from an iphone to WMobile but I could see straight away the amount of personal customization this has over the iphone. I personally cannot see how anyone can even compare it to the iphone as some do.
I spent nearly 15 hours in the first few days getting to know how to navigate through the phone and the file structure and redoing itunes. I read some great tips on this forum, such as formatting SD card and making all songs Mp3 so as the music player would not freeze and it's not locked up once. It's like a personal computer in my hand next to the iphone. Since I was still on a 2G iphone, the HD2 is so much faster, it's not even funny. No lock ups unless I do not restart after software install or mods. It seems that I have the latest tmo manila. My phone works great and the screen is incredible. It doesn't fit in my pocket like my iphone did but until there's an organic flip out holographic screen of some sort, it's the price I'll pay for the size of the screen.
Took off RTSG(sp) ROM and installed KUMAR's, i must say, Kumar, you saved this phone, your ROM is amazing, i haven't had any problems with it besides a little lag when i go to the home screen from time to time. Man this made me love the phone even more.
Did get an offer off, 400 dollars and a Blackberry 9700 brand new in the box. I was tempted because of the money, but in the end decided to keep my HD2. As long as it keeps running like this, i am satisfied. It's nice when everything is working the way it should be. thanks kumar, and thanks to the rest of you guys who responded to my thread.
Hey guys I've been here for years and strangely for the last couple of weeks I've not found myself on this site very much. Why? Because my damn phone is so damn good I haven't the need/urge to mess with the set up I have. I'm yet to unlock it or flash it (although I hear there are some very nice roms out there). My set up is as so:
Standard TMO USA rom.
SPB Mobile Shell 3.5
Quick Menu 2.8 (task manager/program closer).
JZ Mortbuttons
Opera Mobile 10, Opera Mobile 9, Skyfire, Mobile IE
Resco Explorer
Coreplayer
I haven't added any of my other contact programs or anything because this damn phone comes loaded with great programs and runs very, very well. I know some people may ask why did I create this thread? I see a lot of people coming in here complaining about the HD2 and WM 6.5 and I think the satisfied people need to speak up also. The phone is great (needs very few tweaks) and the OS is awesome now that is actually has a processor strong enough to really use it and a screen beautiful enough to show it's shine!
Join me with your I love my HD2 comments. Peace all.
Im with you on this one, people keep telling me to flash android. But there is no need for that.out of the box the phone rinds fine with no problems, and movies finally look good.

Saying it's the last phone you'll ever buy is quite a statement... you know it will die eventually, right? You plan on not using a phone after that?
Also, who keeps telling you to flash android on it? You should let them know that it's impossible to do, because their is no android port for the HD2.
HD2
HD2 is a cool phone, I waited for it since it came out first in Europe. I switched carriers too. I think it needs alot of help. The phone is clumsy to me, on any phone I had I never found myself making so many mistakes typing or scrolling, I seen the difference right away when I went back to my itouch. But I love Winmo plus I already have a that love/hate relationship by having dealt with win95/xp/vista/windows 7 so I figure why not keep it going with the mobile too..HD2 is nice it has made me learn alot about mobile phone software like CABS, Flashing, etc. We will see what impact winmo 7 has on the old 6.5/6.5.x versions. You have to admit you can't never get bored and you can't just change stuff on Android the way you can with winmo..ok im done glorifying..peace
I really like my HD2, it has its quirks but they aren't bad. The screen is amazing on it and whenever I show people it they are blown away. Once some of the issues are fixed, random reception and freezes, it will be an amazing phone.
I love my phone too
I'll keep it until the HD3 comes out
OP, you're from inland empire? Me too!
flashing ROM itself is quite an amusement for me.
HD2 does have a facebook app that I actually like and use.
I read books quite often, and HD2 became my alternative eBook Reader with an app called, Freda. I still have an eBook Reader as my main source of reading material, but on 4.3" screen, it isn't too bad to read on the phone!
Then I do watch lots of MP4 videos and use Youtube.
besides those, everything else is quite standard.
RSS hub, Web Browsing (although on 4.3" screen, it's pleasant to browse), Music Player, and all the things other phones also have.
HD2 is a satisfying device to spend your time on the go.
But it's nothing other phones can't do.
Definitely love mine, had a brilliant email, navigating, talking weekend and it didnt blink, Just need T-Mo to update to 6.5.3 and fix the radio issues and it will be perfect for me.

I really like my HD2, it has its quirks but they aren't bad. The screen is amazing on it and whenever I show people it they are blown away. Once some of the issues are fixed, random reception and freezes, it will be an amazing phone.

My wife has one also and her phone freezes while mine doesn't. The only real difference is I use SPB Mobile Shell 3.5 and she uses the standard Sense interface. I think the messaging in the Sense has issues with the OS.

I personally don't want 6.5.3 because it has the start button on the bottom and that would eliminate me from using QuickMenu as my taskmanager/program closer. Sad huh?
This phone is so awesome to have. I have been roaming around xda-devs for years tweaking, modding, flashing but this thing I have to say is very stable. I have not flashed roms ever since I got it. So far i'm loving the way it handles things and haven't have any freezing unlike what other peoples says. Anyways I couldn't promise I will not be flashing roms coz they're tempting, lol. Cheers..
Quite a phone
I really love this phone, i have had a lot of wm phones but this tops it all. i use it as am mp3 camera browsing .... and so much more. I used to flash all my other phones but i think i will keep the stock rom since i havent had an problems with it.
I'm running Energy ROM on my HD.
Flashed almost every ROM that's compatible with TMOUS, and I think I'm pretty much settled on Energy for now. Problem with the most is the SMS lag. When you get more than 50 messages in one thread, it takes a while to load the conversation you highlighted on the messaging tab. I hated it, since I had to delete them almost every day, since I text a lot.
Energy ROM uses different looking SMS and MMS tab, which eliminated most of my annoyance.
Kudos, Energy ROM
I have to agree with addicus. I've had my HD2 for a over a month now and have had absolutely NO issues (knock on wood) and I'm a HEAVY user. I keep reading these horror stories involving random freezing, SMS issues, reception problems, etc. To date these issues aren't affecting me (knock on wood again). I'm running the stock ROM because it works flawlessly for me. I've installed several apps/mods and am completely satisfied.
I haven't touched my iPhone since buying the HD2. My iPhone contract ends in June and I will not be extending it. Will this be my last phone? absolutely not. I'm definately an early adopter and have to have the latest gadgets. Until then, I LOVE MY HD2!!
It's the screen size and brilliant colors and picture quality and capacitive touch that get me... It's not much different than any other Winmo phone besides that. I also like the Sense UI.
I'm stoked on this phone and if you are afraid to do a hard resets, ROM Flashes, tweaking WinMo, etc, I don't understand what you are doing on this site complaining anyhow... Just buy an Iphone and keep your opinions to yourself...
There is nothing worse about this phone than any other phone if you know what you are doing. Only good things...
Yeah, I love mine too much. I'm spending too much time on it. I think it's a bad thing.
Me and the wife's phone hasn't froze on us yet. We are on stock rom, using Sense UI.
I made a whole DVD of a graduation documentary with just the phone's camera alone. It turned out pretty good. Of course I edited on a PC though.
This phone will last me a while, at least till HD3 comes out.
Also, swype is screwing my typing skills up. The other day I went to use my Desktop and I was swyping on my keyboard. LOL...
I have made a new boot animation for NRGZ28, it's still in its early stages, and can only hope I have time for more. I'm a huge fan with what he has done to my phone, and he has compelled me to give back to the community.
My goal here was simple. Sometimes I forget(as im sure some of you do to) what it was like owning a stock Rhodium, and i cant even remember what the GUI even looked like. NRGZ28's ROMS, although amazing, does not change dramatically enough for me to be mesmerized everytime i pick my phone up as it used to. Although I'm sure this wont entirely do it either, it will at least remind you of what you hold in your hand! Or something like that anyways, i was never really good at public speeches
This should work for any of his ROMS
P.S.~~if anyone could post some feedback on how far the animation goes on your devices that would be great! that means the leo, rhodium, Raphael... and any other devices that have a screen of that size, on both energyrom and stock roms.. or any roms for those devices. and if you know a way to change the length given for the animations let me know pronto!! I recieved a new warranty phone and the animation isnt playing the same length anymore. not sure if this is due to newer updated roms or the fact that the energyroms tp2 splash screen isnt on there anymore, just shows the ATT splash screen. thanks

Updated July 8th!
Cabbed/Shortened/Resized---No more BS work for you!!
Additional Notes:
1) At least on my Rhodium, the last second or 2 wont play. (the fade out) It will simply hang on the image for a few seconds. (which works just as good) The orginal was 14 seconds long and i had to speed it up as i am unaware of a way to customize the time wm gives for the boot animation. So if anyone knows of a registry setting or a program that will do this. let me know ASAP!
2) I will also work on getting a sound file for it as well if this becomes popular enough.
Install
1) Download .cab
2) Installs it directly to windows
3) It will ask you to restart
Uninstall
1) Go to settings->system->remove programs
2) Will automatically put back the default animation
Please be patient as doing 3d animations takes a long time, as well as tweaking issues just to have more arise. And don't even get me started on getting a decent gif animator, and then trying to get it to do what its designed to do
Downloads
NRGZ28-Thinking outside the box
hotfile download

That looks really cool from the screenshots, the bouncing and then the electric explosion looking thing... haha. Cool work.
Any chance of having it just say HTC there instead of NRG? I think you would get quite a few more downloads/donations.
Also, a short video or gif would be cool so we can see what we're getting!
Idea for Startup Animation
Hi There,
I am a huge fan of energy Roms as well!
I thought the following would be cool!
X-mens wolverine blades comming through a screen shot making the famous-x and the at the bottom Energy ROM...
Wish I knew how to but maybe you can do this for us??

Hmm.. that sounds like a fantastic idea! so the problem is.. start up a new thread for more generic animations, or just change the name and make categories in this one?
Will most likely be uploading a youtube video of it today.

Yes, this was my first concept design.. but depending on where the X goes, it might require that i make hands and wrist at least(which is a little bit of work ) unless it slashes with the blades coming through the background..i forget.
i don't know the legality of putting the original wolverine slash in there, (and wheres the fun in that? ) but i will see what i can do
If anyone knows of some good x slash video's, post them up! as i seem to be having a ridiculously hard time finding any. people need to make tags better! you would think there would be hundreds popping up! but no, with the game out all i find is gameplays for origins-wolverine
i like it alot
i think its awsome. wish i had skill like that !
I agree, this is a stunning job!!

I went for 2 years. I got 2 weeks off for winter break, and 1 week off for summer break. if you want your summer off you can have them add another 3 months for each summer. thats just for the associates degree. its another year for the bachelor degree and that gets you ready for making video games.

I will work on it as soon as i get a chance. Hopefully tomorrow or the next day. I will also try and do this for every boot screen I make. There will of course be a few that are only for energyrom
