Hi. I searched quite a while but couldn't find an aquivalent thread.
I'm looking for a programme that synchronizes my "my ebay" with the diamond and remembers me if an auction expires. Of course also offline.
Anything like that out there i couldn't find?
Thanks
Try Myspike
Works great.

I just got my 8125 last night and love it so far. I am coming fro a Treo 650 and have a lot of contacts. I was wondering if there was a way to transfer my contacts from my Treo 650 to my new 8125?
If there are any must have programs I would appreciate some pointing in the right direction.
Thanks
Well a great start is going to http://wiki.xda-developers.com/ it is a great place to get some info. Look here for some must have tools http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Must_have_tools. As for contacts have a look here http://www.mobiletechreview.com/tips/palm_to_PPC_and_back.htm it says how to do it. Hope this helps and good luck with you 8125.
Thanks for the reply PPCNUT. I read the article about transferring my PIM info from my Treo 650 to my 8125. I kind of really don't like OUtlook at all. I use Eudora on my laptop and Snappermail for my Treo. Is there some other way I can get that info transferred onto my 8125? And yes...I do realize that I am being insane...I don't want this to be a deal breaker for me.
Thanks
I have seen exactly the program you need it is a sync program and it will sync all devices WM, Palm etc and it allows the use of most e-mail programs. I think it may cost $29.99 but it will work with the e-mail client you have got. I will try and find the link and I will post it here.
http://www.sync.com
Costs $70.00 but there is a downloadable trial. For a once time thing it would be worth downloading the trial.
Thanks for the combined help with getting my contacts transferred.
It worked like a charm... I was wondering though as to what PPCNUT said. I think you said that I can use Snappermail with WM5. Is that correct or am I just getting a little too excited?
It looks like all my contacts, memos, tasks etc...came throuhg without any problems. Thanks a lot...I was getting a little worried that I wasn't going to be able to transfer everything.
I am using Pocket Informant. Am I correct in saying that this program is going to be a replacement for Palm Desktop? If it is great. I was wondering if it has the same feature like Palm Desktop where I can type information in the program on my laptop say for example a new contact with all there info and then sync my 8125 and have the info transfer with a hitch?
If this can do it great. If not could you point me to the "right" program?
What about an e-mail solution and threaded sms messaging?
Sorry to be a pain, but I am trying to load my 8125 up with the "right" stuff so the transition won't kill me.
I felt A LITTLE lost today.
Well I am not to sure whether you would be able to use Snappermail with WM5 as I am very much a Windows user and I don't know much about any thing out of Windows and on the e-mail front I use Outlook so I am not to sure. Sorry.
I just added a decent amount of new events in outlook 2007 on my desktop and when i sync my 8525 none of them get transfered over. I have changed the settings for syncing old events to "all" and have changed it to where if there is a conflict, replace the items on my device. I have restarted the 8525 and my computer and i still cannot get my outlook calender to come over. Please help as this is really frustrating. Thanks
I kind of figured it out just now... I have all of my events set as "all day" so they don't show up unless i click on that exact day so it looks like i will have to go through and change all of them to a time range so they will show up. Is this correct or is there another way around it?
Hi,
I had same problem, after lot of research, I found a program "Pocket Mirror" it´s not cheap, but it works.

I had same problem when I first downloaded(beta version 1.0, build 1.0.0.251) but when I went back to site next day they had new build(1.0.0.252). I downloaded this and now it syncs up. I'm not sure everything works because I couldn't drag cab files to application list, maybe on next build.
new update should fix your probs. see first post.
chief
How does this compare to my just purchased copy :-( of MissingSync
With the new update I got a new problem.
To sync with this program is no problem, but if I sync my calendar and go to ical, there are no dates.
yeah, at this time there are a few bugs with the ical plugin, so if you find a bug you should send them some infos about it wih their contact form on their page. and i think in a couple of week they can release the final.
mfg chief
now the newest version works perfect for me and my tytn, i can sync everything with ical and adressbook, i have osx.5.1. no probs at all, and much faster and better than missingsync. i hope some of you can help me to test this nice freeware to find all bugs, because this app is really useful.
regards, chief
I'm pretty satisfied with Missing Sync but I do have some small problems with it. I tried this free app some time ago but it didn't work at that time. I'd like to try again and will post my findings. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to sync more than 1 calendar? It seemed to me that you could only select 1 iCal calendar, which would be a huge dealbreaker for me.
Problem with my trinity
Does anybody archiv to make it work with an Trinity ?
I spend two evening on it without success
... and The Missing sync is not compatible with my Trinity / OS10.5 combo.
Hi newby here
I have upgraded from a touch to a touch 3g from Orange, phones great works fine.
BUT
I used to use windows live push email. It looks like Orange has removed it. There is no short cut in programs.
There is an alternative business orange mail system which is now closed to new users and costs. However there is still the windows live push mail switch in the communications manager.
The best I have managed is to set up a conventional email account polling at intervals. (i have now managed to break this, do not discuss).
I am not interested in a new ROM and my net searches suggest that a download was available once from Microsoft.
I have found "windows live mobile msn/sms" but I think this is something else.
Any ideas?
Cob
Searching is huge, thread here with almost all Live links
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334621
Thanks namaste74
I had a good look through the forum before I posted. Thanks for your link.
I have had a search through that as well now and not found anything in there. Perhaps this deletion of windows live is new and only by Orange.
In all my web searches I only found one other bod complaining.

Is'nt google great.
I found a link to this forum. A thread by nanek921
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2112669#post2112669
and an attached file WindowsLive_0409 (english).cab
I have run the cab and logged in with windows live and I get the magic option download mail as it arrives.
So I now have push mail again, no thanks to Orange UK
Clive
PS
Orange UK have also broken the GPS when used with GoogleMaps. This can be fixed by setting the com cannel to com4 and not automatic.
Hello Guys!
First of all: Excuse my English, I'll try my best
Well, since yesterday I'm a proud owner of a HD2 and I'm slowly trying to get
everything fitted to my needs
I installed CHT, SecureW2 for WPA2-Enterpise access and so on, also my e-mail stuff works fine.
But I'm not able to find out if its possible to make my phone use my ical calendar file which I've stored on icalx.com.
This file is used by my laptop and desktop PC as well, but i do not really want to synchronize with Thunderbird Lightning all the time, I just want my HD2 to use the published file as well so that it is always up to date, so that i do not need to synchronize it every day.
Anyone knows if there a way to do that?
(I'm really sorry if I missed something similar using the search fuction, I only found problems related to syncing with thunderbird)
Oo falling off the first page goes pretty quick here!
Anyways...another question i have is: Is HTC Calender an application itself or is it just a graphical interface for the outlook calendar? I mean Outlook should be able to ready .ics or am I wrong here?
as theer are more users online now...I'll give it a last try.
Is there really nobody who has tried this before? I always had the impression that this is a common way to sync ones calendars

First of all: Your English is excellent!
And concerning your question: Have your read this thread? I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for. Also, I found this, which looks promising as well.
EDIT: LOL - this is a featured article on the xda-developers front page today: http://www.xda-developers.com/windows-mobile/icalendar-appointmentstasks-icalparse/ What a coincidence?
this is really LOL!
But thanks a lot, I'm already trying it out and despite a minor bug it seems to work quiet well!
