How about the one that comes with notes?
hah thanks i completly forget how to get to that. but what about a voice dialer?
and any good (free) alternatives to HTC Home or anything similar to that?
It's not free, but it is great. I am using Vito Voice Audio Recorder. Love it. Works great without a stylus too. They also have a voice dialer, but I never tried it.

Their contact manager and picture viewer are also really sweet.

how did you find the voice recorder that is included with notes? Where is it located on the ppc? I can't seem to find it.

It's default mapped to the button between the wifi switch and the "ok" button on the side. Just push and hold it to activate.

I know that. However, it's not there for me anymore. Where would i find it in file explorer?
I installed the vito audio recorder and it works well. I'll use that for now.

Simply Excelent. 99,99% accurate recognition for contacts and programs installed in a QTEK S100
Does this program require to record a voice tag per contact, or could you just call the name (like MS Voice Command)?

Oops...doublepost.
Many thanks for the link. Finally a voicedialer that does the job like it is supposed to do !
Edit : also this program let's you activate the voicedialing function by pushing a button on your bluetooth headset. Untill now no other voicedialing-program was able to get this to work !!! Good stuff

Wrong. We have this working long time ago under the Project VCABT http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=23558. We are free to use any program (MS VC,Cyberon VC, Cyberon VD, Fonix ...etc) and activate them by pressing the bluetooth headset button.

Hmm but if I remember correctly the VCABT-project meant some sort of workaround and/or changing settings/registry. With the Cyberon voicedialing-program, voicedialing-activation from bluetooth headset just works without any workaround, and works perfectly as well
xda mini + jabra bt250 headset. Works like a charm. Just press the button on the headset say the name and you are ready to go. And for the first time it actually picks up the voice through bluetooth headset. That's exactly what we were waiting for so long. Thanks so much
It also works with tomtom navigator simultaneously without any problems. Thanks again.
yes many thanks, work like a charm
Is it possible to unassign the record button to this program. With the button assingment on the settings page I can select whatever program I want, but it won't work because of this tool (which is really great.., only one disadvantage).
Is there a registry trick or something to have the record button reassigned to the program selected on the settings page?
Works like a charm
are there any plans for all sound to bletooth? (if the answer is yes can someone please post a link to it)
thanx
hi, it is a great program, but how can i stop a call? when i'm speaking if i press the button of the bluetooth it start a voice recognition again and it doesn't close the call.

How did you get this to work with the BT headset? I have the Sony HBH-662. Is it compatible with all BT headsets? It should be, right?
Hi,
Have searched in vain. I want to control MP "globally" from today screen and other places, is this possible?
Mostly play/stop and next song is what i want to do. On my nokia when i listen to music in handsfree a click on the answer button goes to next song and holding in that button goes to speed dail.
this is what i would like to have on wizard. is there any apps or regestry changes to make this possible?
thanks
Voice Command will allow you to control media player through your headset, or should anyways.

Resco would like to announce that the new application will contain the following features:
Touch-optimized interface
Easy navigation
Chat-like ordering of text messages
Letter navigation
Favorites
Quick search using keypad
Direct calls
History of calls
Easy assigning of pictures to contacts
Managing contacts in groups
Today plugin – quick access to all your commonly used phone functions
..and many more
http://resco.net/downloads/pocketpc/contactmanager/en/RContactMan_beta.exe
This looks very nice.
The only problem i see and for me it's the overruling off the keypad.
Thanx.
Looks Good and works fine... But there is just English Letters to search Contacts...
it's the first beta release guys ...upgrades will come soon, and specially also because it is nearly the Mobile World Congress
For a first release I am very impressed.
It definitely outdoes Yota contacts and any other contact program.
Not to mention it actually includes it's own shortcuts to the various tabs!!! Definitely a HUGE plus for me!
Maybe works betters, but is awesome ugly xD
Yota looks better

Not yet possible, but I posted a request on their forum for this, and other features. They say they will work on it.
Anyone interested should go to their forum and voice your support for adding these features. Resco seems to be listening.
Looks veeeery equal to PocketCM, which is my favorite app for more than a year.
Better donate therefore, as to buy such an obvious clone......

thanks! you saved me from deinstalling! the phone-app is now back to the htc-standard but thats not a real problem...
really nice contact manager and much faster as all other alternatives.
this is a good one!
This tweak, consisting of 2 small apps, allows you to use the button of earphones shipped with Diamond to play/pause music and skip to next track. Just install the CAB. If you won't like it, it is uninstallable.
Apps supported: MortPlayer, WMP, TCPMP, FM Radio, TouchFLO 3D Music tab (both in v1 and v2)
You do not have to specify which app to control. The running one is controlled.
Also, be careful and lock your screen and allow your device to suspend after some time. When you press the button the PPC wakes up. I can't suspend it without stopping music, with the exception of FM Radio, so make sure accidental presses won't do anything (lock) and that device will susped itself after some time.
NOTE: Voice Command is not usable after this. Also some BT headset buttons may play/pause or switch tracks.
Everything is at your risk. If you like it or have problems with it, please reply!
Thanks a lot ^-^
something similar but to control coreplayer would be very niceee
Works with FM Radio and TCPMP now.
thank you very much! really been waiting for app like this
when installed i had hf plugged and it started to work after unplugged once. before that pressing hf button did nothing..
seems to work well
Has anyone checked whether this app can work with manila 2D's audio manager?
.. will give this a try later today.. on my m2D running on htc touch 3g
EDIT: bummer, does not support m2d's audio manager tab...
kosherpig, any chance you can add support for m2d too?
bluetooth headset
kosherpig this a great app and works perfectly on my diamond with the wired headset. It does interfere though when I'm trying to voicedial using a bluetooth headset (it starts music player and changes to next song). Any way that you can disable your app when the bluetooth link is active?

Unfortunately it is not possible. If you need voice command, you can delete the file \windows\sddialer.exe .
After that, voice dial will work but you won't be able to start/stop with wired headset. It's a flaw of method used by me.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=498349
Real nice work, this one though, it's even better cause works with the three programs at the same time!
Hi kosherpig,
yes - happy to help you on the M2d testing front.. Manila 2D from what i understand, has a similar user experience to M3D - minus some visual effects.
The default music player is also called the Audio Manager. And on M2D, users can access it from the Music Tab (like M3D).
I don't have any knowledge of the API for the audio manager, but if a forum M2D expert can help with the API, I will be happy to test your code.

???? Here works fine with Coreplayer 1.3.2...but this thread isn't about that anyway. If you wanna solve it, let's talk on the APP thread. Sorry for being harsh on the first post then.
Compatible with s2u2?
looks like the switching off of the screen when you have s2u2 installed is preventing any skip to the next song and really delaying the pause/unpause (20sec).
Have you tried it?
Is there a setup of s2u2 that could solve this (through s2p maybe)?
Aside of that it is a great feature, I always thought that the implementation of the headset button was dumb!
Thankssss!
What a wonderful program. I was looking for something like for a longgggg time
I want to ask whether there has a AVRCP plugin to make TCPMP controllable by Bluetooth Headset or not?

Okay. So I made a experimental version for M2D.
To make it work:
- make sure that, at main screen, the menu Start is named exactly Start.
- make sure you are at "Music" tab. Currently I am not able to switch through M2D tabs.
Note: if you are using TouchFLO 3D aka Manila aka Manila 3D, use the CAB from the first post.
thank you
tf3d one works perfectly, thank you very much.
Am I the only on that uses Windows Media P for music?
Please some controls for WMP
Controls for Titanium music playing would be insane!
Greets to all.

Have been looking for something similar myself adn was directed to noteM elsewhere on this forum.
But then I realised afterwards that there is already a notes app included with the TP2.
As default this is set for written notes but in the menu you can enable a voice recorder function as well.
You don't haave the extra functionality of choosing the recording format etc but the basic app is there for you to use.
