newbie: o2 xda german to English OS?

hello guys,
I was wondering if someone could help me with a step by step guide (or maybe a link to a thread with needed information), how to change the operating system language of my o2 xda?
I currently own a German xda, and would like to have it in English...
thanks for your help!
You can start with this thread:

HTH
thanks,
but is this working fine with the European 900/1800? since it was created for American market 1900...
yes you can... extract the .exe file using Winzip or Winrar
take the Nk.nbf file, use XDAtool or XDArit tool to burn it on your SD card, upgrade using SD method... then it will only upgrade your ROM not your radio stack
Click to collapse
from the thread the url points to
so the nbf is the rom for the pda part
and the radiostack upgrade is another file in the
exe file if you dont mess around with the radiostack upgrade
your phone will not get messed with

Downgrade

Just upgraded to the new rtom, and now it's impossible to go back to my 1.6.7.1.
HELPPP!!!!! ...would be much appreciated
I understand your trouble.
First, download aWizard from the ftp site:
ftp://xda:[email protected]/Wizard/Misc/aWizard-V1_3beta2.zip
From within aWizard, enable RAPI, then run CID Unlock to be safe.
Then download this file:
ftp://xda:[email protected]__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe
Run the program and it will downgrade your phone to the following:
ipl and spl: 1.01
gsm: 1.12.10
rom: 1.05.04.12
Once installed you can opt out of the extended rom by reseting after the initial setup. Use the wizard unlocking tool and soft reset. You can then delete and write new files to the extended rom if you like.
This rom works well if you do not need pushmail or run stereo bluetooth. At this point you may upgrade the rom and radio if you like.
Please be aware that the 2.07 radio rom found in the newer os rom does not succesfully mate with a 1.x os rom. I hope this helps.
Best,

Hi,
Even worse than it already is? Jeezus... :?
I cannot use because my ROM is a Greek one, and the new one lacks everything Greek until the Greek guys translate it by the end of the month. I was stupid enough to want to test it, without checking about downgrading first.
But I finally made it
the nba file could potentially be found on the ftp site...though i'm not sure...
I have the T-Mobile MDA (US) so before I did any editing I backed up the rom, splash, etc... using aWizard which generated the nba files for the ROM, Radio, splash, etc...

Need help to convert raw files into NBH to trinity

Hi all,
I dumped my PTG v1.15.410.2 ROM from HTC P3600 (trinity). I dumped the 4 internal parts and also the ext-flash.
Now I need to convert it to NBH, so that could actually create a RUU PTG ROM, which is highly required on our country, since no one seems to have the RUU PTG ROM. And some of us wanna try the GPS enabled ROM, but we wanted to have the RUU PTG ROM so that could return to normal state for whatever reason.
Can someone please help me convert the dumped raw files into a NBH file?
I have them hosted in a single rar file here:
http://www.drugstore.gsmhosting.net/Support/HTC/P3600/
Username : free
Password : free
Much appreciated if anyone could help the Portuguese community on this
Thanks
I hope that someone help us
Yeah!
Great!
Let's see if someone gives us a hand!
yes i actually need that too
Yep... all portuguese users whilling to change to the wwe GPS enabled rom, are waiting to have a RUU PTG ROM for ensurance or turn back
Ok, seems that converting Raw files into a NBH for this device is hard.
Maybe we should take easier step and extract the raw files contents and maybe later, "cook" a ROM from there.
However "cooking" roms, is something I don´t know nothing about...
need that too
