Anyone have a bricked tytn or spare parts? I am looking to replace some casing and other parts on my phone.
I'm looking for a spare mainboard, i'd be willing to buy it using paypal, shipped to the US
My 2 weeks old Kaiser slipped from my hands and the LCD broke !! I am looking for a good repair shop in Belgium or any links from which I can procure a new LCD screen real fast! Any pointers would be helpful. Also, does anyone know if the LCD screen is covered under the HTC warranty ??
whipout ur htc carepack, call the number nearest you. They probably would fix it for you for a small charge. Keep in mind, repair shops aren't htc specialists.... So my suggestion is that you contact htc and see what they can do for you.
i feel for you :{
my girlfriend just got her LCD cracked from a roller coaster (stupid safety bars). probably going to take a few weeks for us to get a replacement screen since they don't even sell the kaiser here.
she keeps subconsciously trying to touch the screen on her interm dumb-phone... and sighs.
do it yourself! buy a replacement screen on ebay, and look for replacement instructions on this forum
how easy does the screen crack if you drop it? just for arguments sake shouldn't the phones be able to sustain a reasonable drop? After all you are constantly using it in your hands so it is likely you would drop it at least once.

My Tilt has only 2 buttons on the right, the power and camera buttons. http://cnn.cn/shop/images/IMG_5052.JPG shows there are 3 buttons. What's the 3rd button?
I found that on expansys website while i was checking for a good screen protector... Have a look here :

Well, I've taken up a hobby of repairing all makes/models of phone that I can get parts for, so I'd be exceptionally grateful if you could provide some info as to WHERE and HOW you get them so cheaply....
TIA!
there are a few shopping mall in china that sell only spare part for pc, mobile phones and all micro electronics part.
and because most of the oem and third party parts are all made in china, its always cheaper to buy from there, I travel to china a lot, and in search for some parts, I did come across some tytn II parts.
but then you need to live in china or hong kong just like me, so you can go back and forward.
I can also let you know that only micro electronics parts and mobile spare parts are cheaper in china, PC stuff are cheaper in hong kong, as well as back up service.
you need to go to wha qheung ( my own english translation) street along the china railway system, most of them do bulk buy and send overseas, but its best to be there in person, as you cannot trust them sometime.
next time i'll get the address when I go over again, but i'll don't think you will travel there.

Hi guys. I have a 2 AT&T 8525 Motherboards and screens. Both work very well. They were turned for repair and the customers decided to trade hem in on crackberrys. So if anyone need a mobo, screen, batts or keyboards. Please make an offer. I accept paypal.
(Is this the right place to post for sale items?)
i might need some parts..i ordered a flex cable and hopefully it will fix my white screen problem...i might also need the back part of the case..(not the battery cover)
Let me know. I just took in two more 8525's and a parting them out.
PM me here and ican over night as well. I am in Dallas Texas.
sweet...im still waiting for the flex cable..how much for the back cover of the HTC? (not battery cover) and also the sliding tray (for the LCD)?
I need radio chip on mainboard. Can you sell seperately on ship?
If yes how much for the radio chip?
If no, how much for the mainboard. Is it all function work 100%?
I'm Bangkok Thailand. What's lowest shipping fee possible?
I do have paypal account.
I can sell you the main board and it has Black Majik already installed on it. It is 100% working and I will shipping is around $25.00. The other board has vp3G's WM6 v3.61 loaded on it. Both were tested and work great.
So paypal me $150.00 and I will have it on the way. (Pick the board you want)
Any board that's work ok. however, my idea for the price is roughly 75-80 us.
If you can give me this price I'd like to buy it.
Hi, I'm really interested in the front assembly (buttons, front case, harness)...I got mine used, and it was not treated kindly One of the big problems is the 'mail' button doesn't click- I think that is part of the harness, but I don't know. If you have all (or some) of those pieces let me know. What is a reasonable price? Thanks!
how much for just the LCD?
do you have any undamaged housings?
so how much for a mobo i have a fully working one but bad mobo kinda sux. shipping would be to 91732 be easy on the price or maybe we can work something out i have a lot of motorolas and parts
The Mobo's are $125 shipped in the US.

Outer case is not usable.

do you have any batteries left, and how will you be shipping the items?
I have 2 batteries left
I have 2 LCD left, 2 batterys and 1 motherboard left. Please make an offer as they gotta go.
how much for the batteries?
also, how easy is it to replace a motherboard? what tools do I need, I don't want to break the one you sent me when I try to put it in
There is a video on how to take it apart somewhere on here
Batterys are 20.00 shipped.

TyTn Parts for sale----
They just happen to be assembled..
Sent my functioning HTC branded TyTn to CellularDR in Glendale, CA to have it's "D" pad repaired. Phone worked fine, just not with the "D" pad.
They have returned it, saying the parts to repair are not available. In the meantime I have replaced it with a Tilt.
I cannot speak as to whether it is still functional as a phone. Make me a reasonable offer and it's yours. Good Battery, screen, etc.
hey...are you selling seperate parts or the entire phone? if so, how much do you want for the motherboard?
he's selling the whole phone.......i asked, cause i want the front camera, and maybe the housing. if someone wants the digitizer/lcd, we could probably buy it and then break it down on our own
how much cost the hermes does it only sell the motherboard ??
bought the phone.
I bought a digitizer for my HD2 from eBay that was listed as "New". I specifically bought it because every other digitizer listed for $20-something is "Used". Well, I get it only to see that it is USED, has used foam tape on it and the front has several light scratches with one particularly deep one right in the middle. Seller assures me it's brand new (yeah, right), and that damage must have been caused in shipping. Uh, there was no damage to the protective plastic at all and how is a glass screen going to get scratched by a plastic baggie and bubble-wrap?
I now don't trust eBay sellers that claim their digitizers are new that they are really new. Does anyone have experience with a seller who sells T-Mobile variant digitizers that are definitely brand new and no scratches? Cheap price definitely preferred!
Any source for that thick-ish foam double-sided tape for that matter? The 3M adhesives for iPhones and such is much, much thinner.
Used digitized work fine, as long as the seller has OEM somewhere in the listing. Make sure it is sold from US too, because Chinese sellers sometimes sell fake digitized that are "new".
Btw, the thin double sided 3m tapes work fine, but its a long shot from the original adhesive.. it works and I havent had any problems yet
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Thanks, but the problem with used digitizers is they have scratches so I'd rather get a brand new one.
Does lack of responses mean all the TMOUS digitizers out there are likely to be used?
Go on eBay and look for the seller "dudu Sales". We get all of ours from them and haven't had a dud yet. Not to mention they package tools and tape, all for under 35$
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Thanks, got a link? I wasn't able to find dudu Sales.
you can try here as well
