I want to install Manila Editor but it requires .Net Framework 2.0. What I have in my unit is .Net Framework 3.5 so I uninstalled it. It seems successful at first. But when I tried to install .Net Framework 2.0, it gave an error message that I need to uninstall 3.5. I wonder how to completely uninstall this 3.5 .Net Framework.

WiFiFoFum works very nicely for me - very handy when setting up wireless networks (I'm in IT). It's a little sluggish to load, but does the job.
I am trying to install .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Redistributional
But it gets stuck on when it tries to read from the source, so I can't install it on my PPC at all.
Anyone can provide the CAB files for it?

I had to do a ROM re-install and I then installed .net CF before any other app and it installed OK as did Hitchhiker. Hitchhiker is very "pretty" but this beta version wasn't too happy - I kept getting blank screens. I will stick with wiffofum.

i've just download .net framework from its official web, in order to install wififofum, in addition, i've also downloaded the msi file of wififofum which contains the .net framework for the ppc.
i've complete all the requirements but it always failed to be installed in my O2... any suggestion of this problem... is there any crash from my other applications. (i've installed eXPerience, and many other applications)
Hi.i installed .Net Framework 2.0 in my MDA before but it was corrupted or deleted accidently.Now when i try to run applications which requires .net framework,it says i must install a newer version of .Net Compact Framework.I downloaded the available .Net framework from Microsoft website and tried to install it on my device but again i got error message which says my device has a later version of .Net framework and i uninstall it first.
My question is how can i completely uninstall .Net compact Framework and then reinstall it again? and what is the latest version available for this application.I also tried to download the .Net framework 3.0 but it requires windows Vista while me running Win Xp on my PC.....
Plz suggest how to solve this problem.

Can anyone reply? i m really unable to do alot of things just because of this error...or should i reinstall my Rom???
hi,
my x1 tells me that .net 3.5 is installed but any program that tells me it needs 3.5 says i need to install a newer version of .net.
i ahve the .net config tool and have changed it to use 3.5 of the required programs but still does not work.
i cant seem to uninstall it as its not listed on the installed programs window.
if i try to reinstall it, it tells me that 3.5 is already installed and stops the installing process.
i did have 3.5 and then uninstalled it, but was thinking there might be some files still there that is tricking the x1 into thinking its installed.

Hey guys, I need help with .NET Compact Framework. I have a HTC HD2 and in some applications, writes me an error with NET Compact Framework, it is necessary to install some other version. I tried to install version 3.5 but when installing I wrote that the phone is already a newer version of NET Compact Framework. I do not know what to do with it. Thank you for your advice.
Run \WINDOWS\CGACUTIL.EXE
You will have to use show all files to see it.
It will report which version(s) of the .NET CF you have installed, in a pop up window.
Could also be that you need to install the SR cabs. These are usually just for the correct error strings and/or descriptions to display in the pop up error dialog.
I seem MS document these this way:
"Added System SR files to the Windows CE 5.0 Platform Builder catalog item"
so i have got .NET compact Framework 2.0.7045.0 ....
so install .NET compact Framework 3.5 or 4.0
it isnt possible, because mobile wrote that i have installed newest version of .NET framework...but it isnt true.
