Hi to all.
Is there any yahoo messenger client for pocket pc wich allows voice calls ?
I'd tried skype but all my contacts are on yahoo.
Thanks
i used yahoo msn when it was a free application ,and it did not have this function, only voice message ,but now i don't know if they has implemented it.
As you may know that you can send SMS free of cost from AOL messenger and also Yahoo messenger.
I want to know if there is a way to send these SMS using any of these services using a PPC messenger or any other such service?
check out eGo mobile. I have been using it and it works great.

I'm not sure if it's possible (Verizon probably would have included htc messaging client if it could), but is there a way to enable SMS inbox rules and still keep the messaging client? When I get a voice mail, I get a text message that starts with //VWM, and without the messaging client, this gets filtered out of the SMS inbox and it let's me know I have a voice mail. With the messaging client in, it does not use any inbox filtering.
Just wondering if it's possible or anyone know anything about it?
Thanks,

sometimes it seems to stalling while fetching email.. even with the stallfix.... with standard rom, anyone has this lag too?
Me too. That's why I don't use it for mail anymore until I can find ways to speed it up. I also have problem setting up yahoo mail. Anyone knows how to do it?
Use k9 app for mail. It is better.
For yahoo try yahoo mail app.

about yahoo mail, but I want a universal mailbox, where all my 7 email accounts can be read within the same inbox. I like K9 more than stock mail, but it's still too slow for me.
For information how do you use the mail app ?
Frequency of sync, number of days/week/month of mail synced, number of mail displayed in the inbox ...
thanks
I decided to get rid of the yahoo email app because it wasn't working properly and decided to try the native email app to setup my yahoo account and it worked. Before it wasn't working. I don't know if this is old news or not but it's great. I no longer need the yahoo app

I guess nobody really cares about this. LOL...
if u want to get your mail on the phone u have to activate yahoo mail plus for which u have to pay ~20$/year to enable pop mail, i had the same problem, and i decided to move all my mail to Gmail account where this works perfect
Yahoo POP3 mail account is free now.

Try it with the native mail app. It works and I didn't pay a thing.
