did anything ever come of this? I had the same idea but can't find the file on my diamond. iv read of files called grid and gridsingle.but can't find them.

I only have this one, which is an upscaled version of a 240x320 file I found somewhere on the net. It's sufficient as background for, say, a theme for MortButtons.

This backround I uplaoaded to this site twice myself n I think I´m not alone....so search and you´ll find Original format is png but to convert it to jpg is very very simple by some image converter

I found some very nice pocket weather icons in the internet. Now my question to you. Is it possible to use them in the HTC Home plugin? Is there a possibility to convert them easily to the needed format?

Have you tried google? I actually typed "convert tga to png" and found millions of them on google.. most are paid software. If you dont want to pay for them, some give you free trial and I bet you can use it.... if you search more, i am sure you will find some free ones too..
maybe you could put up the pics here, and i am sure, some of u would help

Hello
to convert the icons from one format to another is one thing, the easiest. But the most important is, which icon name matches the correct one in the home plugin.
For exsample name pocket weather is 1.tga, does it match with HH_WEATHER_01.png at the home plug in? Not that the forecast says rain and it shows son because I used the wrong icon name.

im trying to come out with an iphone/cube with the new ultimate launcher that is similar to the release I was going to make on WAD... you can see a preview a few pages back on this thread if you want to see it... the only problem that im having is how to convert torx png icons to ico files... i converted them myself, but i cant get the background on them to stay transparent... if someone can help me out with this... itd be much appreciated... because i will be able to release this design to the public

Which programs have you used?
I remember I once used Microangelo and it worked fine. It's not free, though, and I don't think you can do any batch converting if you have lots of files that needs to be converted.

yea, thats my problem... i dont think ill need a program like this after this project, so i dont want to have to buy a program... the one i used was "abc" i think it was "advanced batch converter"
but, yes that is crucial... id like to be able to do these all at once... instead of one at a time... i have several different icon packs... akumas icons and the torx icons... if anyone is willing to convert them for me... your efforts will be acknowledged when i release the ul skin...

Try "ICOFX" (Freeware) , i made my UL-Cube Icons with it. Converts everything to ico, also "all at once".

Please, can you tell me what options did you set in ICOFX to create your icons?
I'm trying to build some in my own but when I upload them into UL the resolution doesn't look so good.

this is nothing special it did it just for me because i wanted quick gps look like the rest of my polaris. I didnt know where to post so you got it here.
Just put the three new graphics in \Windows (use totalcommander).

I see this is post, and i make some other theme which more similar to original diamond. I dont now how it is work because I dont have this program (maybe any body who have it is programme take out, because on my device have GPS). I think need change colour fonts (see screen). COPY ORIGINAL PICTURE IN WINDOWS AND NEXT COPY PICTURE WHO YOU DOWNLOAD IN THIS POST. Put new graphics in \Windows. Good lock!!!! If you download this is file you need change colour front, but i dont nown hav it is make. But i make some other theme.
also very nice, but i cant use it because on touchcruise the quickgps uses black textcolor, so it would be unreadable.

There is a spelling mistake in the text of QGPS "katest" should read "latest".

There are a couple more spelling mistakes besides katest which should be latest. They are "spees" should be "speed" and "date" should be "data".
edit: The spelling doesn't matter because the text is not part of the background file.

Hi,
I was missing some small clocks that do not block the TF3D background too much.
To solve my "problem" I just created two versions in black and white. One with a semi transparent clock background and one without a clock background.
The actual numbers are a little far away from eachother but experimenting getting them closer gave some nasty image conflicts. If anyone has an solution let me know and I update the clock.
If you are looking for any other color let me know and I get it done for you.

Like mentioned in the readme you should use the diamnond config tool from susilange to restore to original files from you rom. If you do a quick search on the forum you should be able to find the tool to restore your TF3D. Before you restore can you post a screenshot for me to see what happened as it works good on my end. I would like to fix it for eveyone.

Find the files that are in the zip in your \Windows folder on your device.
Delete them and soft-reset. They will restore from the ROM.

Thanx for the follow-up. this is indeed the best thing to do when the diamond config does not do the trick. Weird however seeing that the config tool deletes all the manilla files and restarts so it will be reinstalled from the ROM and should solve the problem.

I'll take an other look at the issue somewhere today. Which clock did you use the clock with the glassclock background or the one without background? Let me know so I can take a better look at it. There are some files in the glassclock BG that could cause this but I need to know for sure you are using this
i like the idea of a smaller clock, but with the border around the clock still being the same size it eliminates any reason i had to download it i dont suppose you could reduce the size of the border around so the calender etc are pushed up more into the center of the screen?

Works fine with original manilla theme
these look really good, but they are too spaced out, is there anyway to get the clock that size but with less space between the numbers?
another idea i have is, if you used the ones with no background and removed the numbers too!!
NOONE has made an invisible clock yet and it would be the best way to get a full wallpaper

First it says that the destination file is in ROM and that i can damage my system if i continue. After i click on yes i get the following:
Cannot move file xxxxxx. The file already exists.
i tried searching for this but i couldnt succeed until now...
cant anyone help?

Did you setup the resco explorer to overwrite all files? You can do this under Menu\Options\General than under the tab Files check all boxes and select Copy.
Let me know if that did the trick.
thats how it was set up but it didnt want to work..anyway, i used total commander and it worked..

Yes you can. You can change the Wait Cursor by replacing the bitmaps in the shellres.192.dll or using MWCWaitCursor to replace the normal windows process generating the Cursor.
I'm working at the mom at my own Cursor. But you have to replace the ressources by youself, like in my icon thread.

I have a big problem with the new cursor I made. I can't integrate the new bmp's into the sys dll.
The Problem is that the original bmp's i've extracted are exactly 64x64 and 8,05 kb big.
Normaly my created bmps should have exactly the same size, but they haven't, so I can't sign the dll after intergration.
I've tried different color depths etc, but nothing. The original bmps seem to have 15bit. How can I save my bitmaps in 15bit ??
Can save them only in 16bit and then they have 12kb.
Can anybody help?

i tried that program like 2 months ago when i got my fone.. it didnt work for me.. (i had the cab saved from my shadow)
I tried the marshell program too and found it a bit poo. what I was trying to get was a cursor like I once had on my orbit which looks like the one you get on youtube.I mean the dots as the video loads for a second.Still looking
