Also, you can choose to save you pictures in /storage card/my documents/my pictures thats how he works better.

does anyone know a registry tweak or hack to open pictures & videos directly to the /Storage Card/My Documents/My Pictures directory? i hate that everytime i open pictures and videos it opens at the default /My Documents/My Pictures directory. all my pictures are stored in the storage card and i would really like to know if there is a hack to do this. thanks for any help.
Been covered a few times - sorry no hack for this, it appears to be hard coded into the software. Try different software as i find the above one slow and plain rubbish. I use Xnview pocket (free) much faster and can set the default directory to anything you like.
when ever i take a picture in camera , it goes in dcm in storage card , but i can not find it while browsing or open gallery .
any one know what is the problem
So the DCIM folder isn't visible? Have you tried changing where the photos are stored and seeing if they are visible then?
Guys my HD doesnt recognize my photos form my diamond on my sd card in album - i can find them in pictures and videos but not in album. they are saved under my pictures - any advice please?
thanks
ok for anyone who wants to know -
change the settings on the camera to save to storage card. take a photo, you will then have a dcim file created in storage card - now transfer all your photos in here
Hello,
When i take a picture, the phone stores the picture on the sd card (4gb). But when i search my picture. I can't find the picture on my whole phone. Wat is te problem? :s
If i change the store to the mobile phone him self. I can find the picture. So it doesn't work on my sd card.
I hope you onderstand me.. haha
By defauly photos get saved in either Storage Card\DCIM or Storage Card\My Documents\My Pictures. If they're not in there but you can see them on the phone, I think the photo album can show show you where they're stored.
No, it doesn't work. The album can't find the photo's. The same is the path
go to htc albums -> than below there is 2 softkeys right, Albums and Menu -> Albums -> All
Is there a way to have this set as default to open all albums?

Click to collapse
Yeah, it will stay default till you pull out your SD Card.
Hey guys,
Woke up this morning and all my camera taken pics are gone! They gallery opens up and there are folders listed with downloaded and sample photos, but no camera photos. Not even the "camera" folder was there. I just took a picture now and it created the camera folder and there is only the one picture in there that I just took. I had like 350-400 pics on there and poof they are gone.
Any ideas?
Anybody know the path on the SD card of where the pics are stored?
Thanks.
/sdcard/DCIM/Camera is where my pics are stored anyways.
I remember in my days with my Moment my gallery used to not always load the images. I would delete the directory /sdcard/Android/data/com.cooliris.media and then it would force the gallery to search the sdcard again to index all the pics. No idea if that's the approved process or if it works on the Epic (mainly cause I haven't had the issue), but it used to do the trick.
Search the market for Rescan Media. Useful tool to force a rescan for the gallery.
Un-mount and remount sd card should be ok
Sent from my SPH-D700
I can navigate the sd card anf the DCIM folder is ther, but empty. I unmounted and restarted the phone with a battery pull too, nothing. Ill try rescan media later. I just found out my lookout mobile app was also not set to back up pics
