any expert can help me ???
Tom tom 7 requires no activation. i think you have tom tom 6. if you want tom tom 7 go to Modaco and go to the forum for the diamond and get the tomtom7 cab file. then you need to install tom tom home (version 2) from tomtom website on your pc and buy the maps from tom tom. these download to your device through tom tom home. no activation needed.
May i have some link ....Thank you
I hear that maps from this site should work quite well

Hi JoseF,
I assume you have the XDA II connected via ActiveSync?
If you do, then yeah - try getting hold of a patch from the distributor!

I've been in touch with CoPilot support about that myself, but haven't used anything other than stock ROMs yet, so don't have the problem.
I'm waiting to see what they say, but don't expect to hear from them for at least another week.

Hi there, I've tried many of the cooked ROMs having to reinstall Co-Pilot everytime. In the email you got confirming you're order there is link to download it from the Co-Pilot site.

That's exactly what they told me, but I never had a download link.
I take it you didn't do a trial version upgrade, because if you do that then you just get the activation code.
Today I realized that my gps does not work. Vati is identified by the programs, but never finds the satellites.
I also did a hard reset, but to no avail.
I reloaded the official rom but the problem remains. broke the GPS antenna?
sorry for my Italian, I used google translator!

I think that's the case. If restoring your ROM to a stock one doesn't work, you should go to your local store and ask for a warranty replacement.

gps problem
hello
I dont know if i have the same problem.
My problem is:
when I open location and download sattelites i find that it is written expire in red
what can i do to solve this problem?
is it the same problem which prevent Garmin to connect to sattelites?
when the problem does not download the satellite and GPS does not work, can sometimes be caused by having installed the beta ANDROID SD. If you have installed Cotulla sd card Android look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024474
my post # 9
(Hello. Android get back to SD. Start Android , go to settings / position / (on) or Disable using GPS satellites. Restart WM6.5 and it works.)
I hope the problem will be resolved
.....but the same solution is also the first page of this thread. ....

Hello
There is a big thread on Navigon here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1099662&page=90
I want to install it and searched the thread and could not find any instructions on how to install on Optimus 7, from a previous thread i gathered you need chevron etc, but the Optimus 7 itself does not need this, so how on earth do I install this on my optimus 7?
I would reallya appreciate any help.
Thank you very much.
anyone, noo, dust?
I don't think that its possible as of yet, as there is currently no proper file explorer that works with LG phones.

If your answer is NO, it could be a hardware problem, but you could check/repair it by opening up your HD2 only: the 2 metallic pins from GPS module to GPS antenna could be bent...

On the other hand, if you're sure it is not a hardware problem, you should try GPS Status & Tools for a quicker GPS fix...
the phone in new! i searched the forum and i saw thet a lot of ppl have problem with the T-mobile, i have t-mobile i forget to say...

Me too, I have an US TMobile HD2 with NAND android, but never had problems with GPS fix after using GPS Status & Tools, which has AGPS included, you should use any other GPS app after using the above application!

Start wifi in order to be connected to internet(AGPS needs that connection), then start GPS Status&Tools: go to an open space and wait for a GPS fix(sometimes 2-3minutes), when you'll get this you can exit app and open any other GPS app and you should get a faster GPS fix this way!
