haha, you joined this forum this month, and you think you can undestand it all?
I have been here a little while..I still get surprised with what I can find on this forum.
If I want to learn something new, I spend a great deal of hours trying to find something I can use, and when I find something, I spend alot of time reading up on it, searching even more in the same topic.
All in all. The wiki is not perfect, the forum is not perfect, but in my oppinion, its dam close. I know a bunch of paysites that provides alot less info then you find here.
We are a bunch of ppl who love what we are doing, but demanding more and more and more is not the way to do it.
And the funny thing here is: Imagine if you got all the answers, and are happy with it
Imagine then...In a few days, another guy ask the same question, ofcourse you help him....and then, in a few days, another thread is started with similar questions. and so on...
Then you start thinking; hmmm, maybe we should make a sticky with this info, so that the noobs dont ask so many times, I will make it easy for them.
So there..you got a sticky with the topic, and alot of good answers (now you have become a more experienced user, uyou are getting good with the terms used here, you know what stuff means, like in.ex RUU, ROM, Hard-SPL etc..)
And again, you are happy to help ppl out, you start using the language used on this forum, you use the knowlege you have mastered in some degree.
And your sticky is full of wisdom and knowlege.
But...after 50 guys have asked the same question (in many diffrent ways, nice, begging, cursing, hateful and so on) you start thinking:
Dam, will those huys never learn to read? Hell, I have given them everything I know, the best way I can.
You are starting to become lazy with posting in your sticky, cause you have done so before, so many times...even on pm (private messages) ppl are asking for personal guidence, and they need it now (and your girlfriend is waiting in the bedroom, or dinner is ready, or you need to go to work, or you have damn much stuff you need to fix with the latest w/e, and are quite finished with that old ****, cause you have moved way past that stage long time ago )
And suddenly you find yourself writing something like I am writing now...
welcome to XDA

wow. nothin more to add

OK. we will change ALL...we will make it like in other forums...a "How 2 post" so that EVERY post looks the same...so that noob can follow...
BUT YOU check ALL NEW post if they are posted the right way.
hahahahahahaahaha
NO man. IF you cannnot follow the instructions in the threads...DO NOT FLASH!!!
I spent 1 year ONLY READING before flashing my first rom!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO donĀ“t come here with 5 posts and tell us how to do our job
Well i dont wish to be this forum like any other "plx crack this phorumzz", i think its just as it should be.
besides, when i started flashing my htc devices, it took me 10 mins to find xda-dev's, and another 30 min to figure out what buttons to press to get the stuff i wanted to have.
so dont tell us its too difficult - if youre not smart enough its not our concern.
use google for other forums if youre not pleased with the offers in here.

i know, it takes time ...
.. isnt it the master-question... one of... now after all these months of using the LEO.
what is the point now... how do i get a longer running system... and how do i really protect me from hours.over.hours of hardresets and reinstall of EVERYTHING..
do i have to backup my phone after every single program... to know..w ich one is deleting
the sense
blocking the gps
sending windows into a lazy idiot
.. and so on..
i think everyone of us.. have seen enoug of buggs... makin us psychopathic..
so.. i think... if the godfathers of leo-pmping can do such great thintgs like CHT or bringing us adroid... and.. ims ure.. tehy will bring us winmo7 too...
so... please bring us meanwhile some kind of 'security' i only wanna have fun.. with my LEO.. maybe lomnger than some days... keep me away from hardresets... PLEASE
What is this post? I've just had to re-read it three times to even begin to understand what you are taking about!
Try flashing a new ROM, then you won't have to mess about with your phone so much.
Actually I think he is asking for the devs to concentrate more on giving us a working Win7 for our HD2s...
I won't say anything else other than no.
i kinda translated OP's post as: "what would you suggest is the best setup for my hd2 to make it as stable as possible and save me the hassle of backing up and reflashing all the time" ?
thats my guess at least 0_o
It's near impossible to translate an inconcise sentence lacking basic grammar, it just reads as a rant.
ever thought that he might not be english and he is trying his hardest to get out what he means?.
at least i tried to figure out what he wanted help with.
and when i said "translate" i didnt mean actually translate it word for word, i meant just trying to figure out what he meant....

That was my translation, and yes I was trying to be helpful.
*Edit* And of course, I did know the context in which you were using the word 'translate'.
i think i miss worded my last comment matey. i wasnt implying that you were taking the piss. and for that i apologise.
i just meant that i was tryin to help him out with his wording.

Ah no worries, I am being far too argumentative lately.
Yes im not english... 10 points so far...;-))
and , sorry, bein in hurry.. so some letter.twisters coming over my post...
but between all this strange.words... in combination with nearly same experience oft , i would think, most oft the leo-users...
.. is it so hard to understand... what 'no-goes' and a black-list might be..?
am i the only one, whos happy with new progs... finding for my leo... and then, some days later... sense is trying hard to start, gps is goin down afetr minutes, and some other bugs are coming over the leo... is this scenario so strange and hard to understand, atself if a not-english-mother-language-speaker is posting that...
or is this 'problem' so unreal , so kiddy for the creme.de.la.creme of leo-hardcore-users... that its more important to speak about my crazy-english about a problem... i would say THE PROBLEM... most of us must have with the winmo on the leo.. if the y wanna have more than 9 direct.links and wanna have more than 2 games and 3 and a half helpfull programms...
tell me, maybe im a one the last ones, who have this kind of problem, maybe THE LAST... then i will never say anything again...
and the solution with the other rom...hmmm... then all problems are gone... cool... so.. good is real.. yes..?? tomorrow i will a buy a ticket for the next church i get...**
**
if anyone have problems to understand everything with the first reading... sorry me...my fault
if anyone dont understand the little jokin between the words... sorry him... change your school...
I think he's actually trying to say maybe start a list of 'blacklisted' apps/tweaks that can affect the running of sense and the system in general?
that's all I can make of it
I'm curious about where you're from, you have quite the way to construct sentences. Yoda has yet to learn your mastery
Anyway, the meaning I give to your post is "ok cool everyone's wasting time on big projects like android on leo, but how comes I can't get a stable system even if I run the basic applications?"
If what I understood is correct, then yes, do some reading in the stickies of the Rom Develpment forum to learn the theory, and flash a custom rom.
hey i was wondering if anyone can tell me whats the best ,nice, fast and stable rom for my phone. also that everything is works on like if it was a stock rom. thanks.

Just try a cople out. Its really all personal choice. Whatever ROMs are on the first page when you go into the ROM section are probably your best bet, being that they are the most popular, or new. Flashing only takes a few minutes and they are safe as long as you choose the right Radio for your phone, you are ok. Try a few out, see what you like.
I kind of had the same question, but I have flashed my phone over 50 time sin a couple months trying to find the happy place.. so far all the roms have good points and better points. greatful to all the chefs!
This ROM is basically the Stock ROM but better.

No, you're just a dumbass. Asking people to help you, and then in the end, after an incredibly long tut, you just drop it. Learn how to read stickies and tutorials and do it yourself. Be self sufficient and stop being retarded to people who have better things to do than hold your hand while you're being stupid. k.
STFU u ****ing ***** he offered help in the first place. you dumbass and i didnt want to **** my phone up for a little mistake.

You must have some serious patience, my friend.
Back on topic...
Hey Blizz, what does this have to do with ROM development? Try posting questions like this in the General forum.
I use Energy CHT and it works well and looks great.
Ok so there is many varieties of android builds for the hd2.
FOR ALL OF YOU WHO HAVNT EXPLORED THEM.
They all have their defaults. Most of them which ive experienced were touch screen freezes.
Ive tried shubcrafts build, mccm's, froyo, etc. All of them had this problem. Ive used different roms as well to go with these builds but they didnt help. They are all not perfect so dont expect to have a fully funtional android build on your hd2. MOST OF THEM ARE DECENT DOUGH Im currently using superhd2's build. Credit goes to him as well as all the other builds ..
If any one reading this has experienced any problems , will you please explain them here just to help all these other noobs like to see what to expect.. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOU HARD WOEKIN DEVELOPERS. EXPECT A DONATION SOON.
If you care about our developers and want to make jobs easier, try not to spam this Development forum section. Use the Android General section mate.
Also, what you have stated can be found in the sticky of this forum section.
Screen freeze is a well know issue since day 1. There are remedies for it. Search is your friend. I do not get any freeze problems with my mattc 1.7 using lastest Evo Kernel.
+1
I'm also using mattc1.7ppp with latest Evo kernel (from 18.09.2010) without any lags and freezing as an everyday rom.
Ok so thats all i wanted to know. No need to get offended
Can u make it a little bit more clear on how to get the latest evo kernel.
Im using Chuckydroid rom on radio 12.20.2.02..

actually i do mind. im not a jerk or trying to be but there is plenty of guides out there for noobs like you to understand what you are doing. android on hd2 is experimental so if you dont know what your doing or dont want to bother to do some proper research you really shouldn't mess with it
im probably the millionth and trust me i hate to ask but lighten up. im sure u helpd before
i have android working with no sod or freezes, and i have 5 post(6 now). More reading, less posting.

+1 for that. If someone has NO IDEA what they are doing, then you probably shouldnt be messing with swapping the kernel in the first place. READ till your comfortable enough with it. Thats how i learned.
haha calm down whats with all the hostility damnnn ..
no need for all this !
gosh ask a question = get slapped in the face.
lightn up people theres a world out there . live it
people here have to be the douchiest ever. I mean clearly its not that hard to figure out how to do all this stuff with a little reading but damn if you're going to waste the 30 second reply to flame him you may as well answer his question. If you really don't want to waste your time on the pointless questions just don't respond, it seems like every thread here with a noob question ends up with 2 pages of flaming/search etc etc.

HAHA exactly, people dont realize it would take an article to tell him how to change his kernel because im sure he doesnt know how to use adb and such. So its more complicated than giving a simple answer.
Hi I'm deathblade, I have realised that I get the urge to flash at least once every 3months lately, when development was in bloom I was flashing a few times days or more. It has effected my life at work in various ways, and my life at home in other ways. And I can not stop. And I will not stop until the sad sad day that bacon becomes overcooked with no one to enjoy it's wonderful flavors. So till that day FLASH ON!
please share your flashing experience and your story with us all, all flash-aholics are welcome. If you experience difficulty managing your flashing addiction please let us know and we will do what we do best here at xda, ASK FOR ETAs! Lol jk.
Please note I started this thread out of boredom and thought it'd be interesting to see what happens with it, even if it goes nowhere. so have fun with it. If you experience actual issues with flashing ( device related issues) please let us know and will will do what we can to help. But please post in your rooms thread FIRST as that is where you will get the most accurate assistance as we may not be running the same setup as you and thus not have the same issues.
some of us flash daily or few times a week and sometimes a few times a day on weekends. once in 3 months is deplorable .

Oh no you beat me to it, didn't see that lol, yeah it's just as of late, been needing to keep my phone as stable as possible for my job as they don't give us work phones
