I have problem with the 2 buttoms, which are at the right side of my shift, the buttom for the resolution of screen and the shift control center. When i push it,they don't doing absolutely nothing!!!Sorry for my poor english
control panel and resolution buttons
These two buttons are bound to the corresponding executables in your Program Files > HTC folder through the control panel for the mouse and touch pad. The control panel's menu options to modify the button bindings may be missing until you update the touch pad drivers. Details were posted on this forum previously.

I just purchased a Sprint touch and I have a few noob questions about it. I just upgraded the phone to Windows Mobile 6.1.
1) The volume on this phone sucks! My HTC Excalibur was so much louder. Is there any way to get louder volume out of this phone? Everything I look at tells me it's at max.
2) Are there any better touch keyboards out there? It sucks having to change the keyboard layout just for a period or comma.
3) When the screen is off, is there any way to "wake" it other then tapping the power button?
Thanks!

may be a reg tweek here. If not there are other links volume hacks/edits listed in the forums.
2)when in an app that uses keyboard tap up arrow next to keybord icon at bottom screen choose the layout you prefer, I use "touch keyboard" and tap for letters and press and hold button containing period or comma when necessary.
3)Yes, start menu/settings/buttons, there are menu options for what you want each button to do. May need reg edit if your rom doesnt include all the buttons in the menu. Also lets you change press and hold functions!!!
Once you get the hang of it there are no limitations to your phones functions.
I recommend installing resco reg edit or total commander if you don't have it already.
Most cooked roms have the sound and volume fixes already, read all comments on a topic or program before install/action to verify it worked for others.
Good luck!!!
As for keyboard, I like PCM keyboard with the blue iClone skin to match my WM7 theme.
I got the skin and layout from Littlerain's WM7 thread.
try touch diamond keyboard. or touchpal (cost $)
Thanks all!
My phone is now running stock wm6.5.
My questions is regarding the soft-key menus, (the menus activated by pressing 2 virtual buttons at bottom of screen), sometimes they are large text and on other programs small text.
Is it possible to force phone only to use small text menus?
Thanks
Yes, just download my TD2 Tools application at the top of the topaz general forum.
Hi,
the touch input keyboard has 2 layouts on my HD2. The main difference between the 2 is that in some applications there is no space button but there is ".com" "/" buttons instead. For example if I run the web browser and type the web address then this layout appears and in this case it is very useful . But I don't really understand how it is decided or ruled which layout is selected, because when I go to a page where i try to fill a field the same layout comes up, and no space button available. Sometimes this layout appears when I run other normal application for example messaging. Some times the layout selection works as it should be, but sometimes always the bad layout appears with missing space button. Is there any experience about this, or solution?
Many thanks.

Install attached cab and set the soft keys accordingly..
You are done...
How to use CRTL keys with these embedded keyboards? For example, copy/paste .. CRTL C and CRTL V ..
I hope this is not the W7 style ..
I don't think any software-keyboard WM device has had CTRL keys on-screen, historically because of the lack of multi-touch on resistive screens I imagine. You'll just have to tap-and-hold to cut and paste, I'm afraid.

Thanks for your reply, but tap-and-hold doesn't work i.e. on calendar. How do you copy or duplicate events?
You are correct- most times you need to paste (such as entering long registration codes etc) the entry boxs don't have a paste option, though its worth tapping/holding just in case a context menu pops up.
The original WinMo keyboard did have a 'Ctrl' key but most of the current ones don't. One that does, and happily one that works in the HD Mini's screen resolution is SPB Keyboard. This has a 'Ctrl' key on the main keyboard.
