for those that like just few modification and not too many colors, i have made this Theme, Cyborg.
just copy manila files in Diamond windows folder, via Total Commander.
in att. you can find manila files in zip, and two sample of icons.

Hi guys.. i am very bored of the standard custom icons shown into Start-> Programs... so tonight i have done a cab which installs a "minimum.dll" file, which is an icon library, and who make follow dirs into the menu:
Applications
Games
Internet
Multimedia
Phone
System
Utility
Mobile Office
Network
In every dir there is an icon. file which has a string inside:
#\Windows\minimum.dll,-4
By changing the number, you can assign a different icon to the folder you're in.
If some rom cooker wants its custom set of icons.. pm me.. HERE is a good archive of icons
Attached the CAB, no need to reboot, & image of avaiable icons in Minimum icon set and its relative code.

For Italian friends who asked for... tonight i'll post 3 Icons pack in cab format, note that the one posted is in english (..just rename folders' name in "programmi" directory

Ok guys, i have no time to make the cabs because i'm very busy at this time, however it's VERY SIMPLE.
All is explained in the first post (concerning the icon.lnk file inside the folder to skin).
In each zip there is the dll, to copy in \windows, and an image which describes the icon number.
If someone provide me some good icons, i'll pack them into a dll file.
To see the name of iconpack's image, wait with the mouse over and erad the filename.jpg

You have to pack 16x16,32x32, 64x64 images to an .ico file, or edit an .ico file deleting unwanted resolutions...
Then group all icons, numbered & ordered in an "Icon library"
I've used ArtIcons Pro to do this. The icon library has the .icl extension.
Now you have to compile it into a dll (I have used GConvert)
Remember that WM supports 256 colors icons, so if you use more colors, is wasted space.

I'm trying to create a theme for a Dopod 838 Pro ( HTS Herems/TyTN ).
All I want is for the top and bottom bars to be red, all font to be white, and have my custom image insterted, so it loks right when flipped.
I don't want to have to screw around with XML files, if can be avoided.
So, What i've done is, got my hands onto a theme that has the attributes that I'm after.
It comes in TSK format.
So I opened the file with OCP cab manger, extracted it, substituted the images for my own and rebundled the file as a CAB.
Well, I did think it would work.
I was wrong
What is different between a CAB and TSK file ?
Why can't Cab Manager save them and have it operate as it was before.

cab == windows mobile install program
tsk == a theme file
the bolts and nuts are just different
@rudegar: actually a theme file is a cab file only
@twinair: WM treats tsk files as "special" cabs. when u select a tsk, apart from installing the underlying cab, it also does a few other things that control the skinning behaviour in wm. Search for "basehue" in the forum...
Hi boys...I've an artemis p3300 and i've installed the tir rom with manila2d...
Now...in this rom manila2d has not the original clock but the diamond like clock...
I want to install the original opal's clock...i've tried with installing m2d customizer...and with pasting the analog clock files...but i can't set the analog clock...
Now how can i do this??

The files on their own won't do it unless the HTCHomeSettings.xml file is edited.
You would be better off downloading a skin with the clock you need and then use the m2d customiser to apply it.
Uncheck Manila2D in the Today settings, copy the clock images with Resco Explorer or Total Commander into Windows folder and now check Manila2D in the Today settings and be happy!
You can use any other Explorer then the two mentioned but notice that this Explorer must be capable to overwrite ROM files, the default File Explorer can't do this!!!

I've edited the italian xml with the original opal xml and now it works thanks a lot to everybody
I have used certain CAB files from the Diamond forum to change my clock, icons and windows icons but would like to know if anyone has used the manila customizer to change things.
My reason for asking is that there is a set of icons I like but are only available as a zip file containing the manila folder. Also to remove the curtains I have only found zip files.

To load theme, u have to copy manila files in principal folder to windows folder, and manila files in folder "TODOS" (inside touchflo icons folder) to windows folder.

Instructions
1.- (optional) Organize tabs with Advanced Config or TF3D config before loading theme.

3.- Select wallpaper manually

first of all, this is a sweet looking theme. but first a few questions. does this support all the extra tabs? does it support English? and is this CFC compressed?

Supported calls, calendar, comunications and profiles tab.
English supported.

start icon and taskbar icons are not included, in version 1.2 i will add those icons.
where can i download the background 4 all tabs for digital clock?
