Greetings readers.
I've been reading this forums for a long time now, and this is my first posting.
WORLDMATE LIVE installs, but would not run on Diamond. I tried everything they have mentioned on their site. I've even installed the extra 2 cab files, but this application just would not run. Can anyone help?
I must be missing something. Check the WORDLMATE LIVE site here:
http://www.worldmatelive.com
I'm using the DuttyThroy 1.7 Beta 2 ROM on my HTC Diamond, if that helps.
Cheers,
Same.
They asked me to install PRO version, but I didn't.

The WorldMate Live version that supports the VGA resolution is in final testing and will be released in a few weeks.

Thank you Gilad. At this moment, I can live with the QVGA version, only if it works. The application just fails to load, no matter what the resolution is SQL compact is already installed. So, if you are from MobiMate, can you look into this?. I need the application to work, that I can use, and I can wait for a VGA version.
Thank you.

Hello Gilad, and other readers.
I'm wondering, if there is any update on this?. When will WORLDMATE LIVE be supported on HTC Diamond Touch?.
I am not Gilad, but WorldMate Live is now working on the Diamod touch.
Works!
I can also confirm that the version I just downloaded works fine on the Touch PRO.
I'll agree, used the new version (1.5.101) on my Diamond since last Thursday/Friday.
Both work great on mine. Worth waiting for the coming version. It is amazing!

Actually it might be. I haven't been able to test it. IF you install the Opera CAB and not the skin CAB it might be but don't take my word for it. Haven't had time to test it fully yet. I'm running it only on my Athena.

how's this version different from 9.5 that just came out?
I am glad that I am off for the next few days, I am going to test all these new apps and rom coming out.
Great job brother
Thanks 4 the new updates....
shouldn`t we make one thread about opera 9.5, think there will come more versions ????
Will any version of opera work on a NIKI With a suretype keyboard?

Not yet. These are officially beta's. I think the appropriate time to create the "master" thread is once we have word of an official final release. Of course, anyone can disagree with me.
Thanks, great software!
But, in my Cruise, the buttons are too big.
Maybe this is not a QVGA version?
Fast and stable, better than the 781 build
Is this compatible with WM5 - Or should i wait for that CAB before i attept an install?
Cheers, Mike.

I just found out that corecodec released just yesterday the much anticipated v 1.3.0 of CorePlayer Mobile and Pro.
Since I wont just rush to buy it, i wonder if anyone had the chance to try it with the blackstone.
here's the changelog: http://www.coreplayer.com/content/view/23/1/

So in 2010 we might have full QTv support, that's weird
We wont have to go all the way through incremental stages from 1.3 to 2.0.
2.0 will be a new interface and should come in the first half of next year.
c'mon guys... what are you ranting for ??
GPU: Intel 2700g, ATI Imageon, QTv, Marvell Monahan Processors (more coming soon!)

A number of previous versions have said Qtv support, but the 'support' is akin to holding up the world with a drinking straw.. not very effective.
..and beware: if you buy it now it will still be v1.2.5!
...However it was a due act anyway...
...part II: indeed - on the website they advertise for 1.3.0, but if you proceed and download....surprise ...
Damn you guys are fast ;-)
We are working on publishing the 1.3 release now.... but yeah you got headsup reading the changelog page on CP.com ;-) We are changing the text on the resellers now and are getting ready to push publish it with them... it will show up on Mobihand first and current users will be notified by email when its published.

Thats a funny laugh coming from someone who just requested the warez version of CorePlayer 1.3 on another forum before it was even released. Yeah... it might not be a 'smart' thing to register with the same nick on different forums, especially warez forums.
1.3 has now been published on Mobihand.com.... anyone that has purchased it (thanks for your support) can now login on their site to download the update.
hi betaboy
i had bought coreplayer for p1i, now i own xperia x1, do i need to purchase it again?
thanks

I just checked on Mobihand and their website claims CorePlayer is NOT compatible with the HTC Touch HD... It makes me concerned I will not be buying the right version... can you clarify what and where I should buy?

It actually says that CP1.3 is compatible with HTC Touch HD, but infact, it doesnt say anywhere that it supports hardware acc by Qualcomm.

Please be polite... the Mobihand has a dropdown that asks what model of device and offers HTC Touch HD but when you select it... it tells you that the device is NOT compatible. I'm not a fool to be reluctant to pay for something that is not comfirmed to work... if Beta-boy confirms it works with the HTC Touch HD then I will buy.
OK.... looks like Mobihand is updated now... here I come CorePlayer!

Awesome find, thanks for the notification!
Here's the cab (they called it "Windows Mobile (download binary)" for some reason!)
http://www.google.com/gmm/GoogleMaps.CAB
Yeah, thanks, I'm not sure why it was downloading the binary, thats weird.
Thanks for the update, i just tested it out and it works great.

YEAH! Google have finally fixed the installation issue! It installed fine to my 4 gb storage on my Diamond so I guess it should work installing to storage cards aswell!
Great!
yes this is not the java version, not sure how to exactly enable street view when applicable, may not be any street view maps in canada
Just installed it.. fantastic. Very nice upgrade, walking directions has it's own tab in there now! Handy for walking in NYC or Philly along with street view

Have you checked out TomTom's website for Windows Mobile software? I believe they have at least the CAB file for the application, which lets you download 1 free map after you install it.

TomTom 7 runs perfectly fine on my TP2. Not sure if they're wanting to release one a bit more friendlier for WVGA, but it looks and operates fine for me the way it is.
Really? Don't you find it a bit choppy/jerky? It used to run perfectly smooth on my old Vogue, but I think it's due to the much higher resolution.

Bought it with the used Kaiser I have as a backup.
As far as performance, it's not choppy for me. Runs fairly smooth to me.
Does anyone have any idea when TomTom 8 is going to see release for WinMo in general. Thought I'd throw that out there whilst we're semi on the topic .
so far i've only seen the diamond cubes application, but the main problem it's not in wvga available.... Can somone point me in the right direction where to look for a dice application in wvga resolution? Preferably using the g-sensor. I use a blackstone, but after searching for a long time...... i've almost given up
There is one. You sure you went and searched? It's called Diamond Dice. I have it on my blackstone.
is that one wvga?
Yeap. It is. You did say you wanted a WVGA version.
could you provide a link? i tried like 3 different versions, they were all vga versions and not wvga
Hmmmm, i have found one........but it seems it generates a lot of pairs of 2....
sorry, dude. not immediately. I'm actually using a netbook, will have to wait for my laptop to get back to dig out the link.
thanks anyways for guiding me in the right direction with the name of the application
At least now i don't need to take real dices with me when going to a frenzy drinking party
The Omnia2 has a nice dice app and is wvga, most of the apps from it have been pulled, I could not find it with a quick search, but I think there is more omnia 2 stuff posted over at ppcgeeks.
lol i searched till i weighed an ounce......... couldn't find anything, only found a few dice.exe and dice2.exe, but they didn't work on the touch HD.....
Saw a few youtube video's of the app, it was impressive indeed
Anyone can help me out in the right direction?
If your interested in the omnia2 dice, it might be worth asking here in the official omnia2 rom dump thread.
hi hi
the thread you mentioned seems dead....
Well Omnia ii is only out in Singapore, with just a few imports in the rest of the world, but I think it is hitting the streets big time on october 6 when Microsoft finally release wm6.5 oficially. Hopefully then interest will rise in the omnia ii and more of it's goodies will wind up on other devices.
nice......... can't wait till that happens..... now also testing midomi..... works great!!!! too bad the menu doesn't work, but the main functionality of identifying music works like a charm!
