Anybody know how i can add an option to the menu which appears when i connect my phone to my pc through usb to share my internet connection ?
I would like to have a menu as this one :

Do you have the latest firmware... 1.93 has it for shure, and 1.37 i don't know but i quess not!
I'm using WIFTBL WWE DIAMOND ROM V6.0 which is based on the 1.93.405.1 UK WWE.
May be an option can make this menu appears ?
I'm using original HTC ROM 1.93.479.3 WWE and I don't have the Internet sharing option too. It's possible to live without it but it would be nice to have the third option on the screen.
We need the USBtoPCblablabla.CAB, im looking for this cab, weeks ago but i cant find it in the search...

It works fine, fully unintallable
I have tried it too last weekend and the big disadvantage is that it only works on English versions. At least that means on localized diamonds the 3rd option will be there, but there is no text next to the option. It does work however.
It would be nice if someone would make localized versions for this application, but without the Enlarged Start Menu.

Btw...it's the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0413.mui file that needs to be translated and when I compare the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0413.mui which is on my Dutch diamond to the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0409.mui which is in the cab of the Swift rom, the HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.0409.mui has some extra lines to. I managed to translate the file, but it can't be installed on my diamond for some reason.
So If someone could make this work....Dutch and English version are attached...just in case

I actually wanted this option to... But it isnt really needed because you can start internet sharing via the programs folder. thats just one click farer away but it works

i think "thanx" is enough
if somebody sends me original MUI file (HTCUSBToPCPopUp.exe.<number>.mui) from germany, swedish, czech, french etc. rom and helps me translate "Internet Sharing - Use phone as modem", i'll add localization into .cab file.

I'm using the norwegian 1.93 offical ROM and this wont work for me.
I installed it, did a soft reset, then i started it by pressing "new" in touch flo 3d and this message comes up:
Can't open this file, HTCActionSCreen.
Either its not signed with a clarified certificate, or one of the components does not exist.
Install this again if the problem still exist.
Maybe not the best translate, but I hope you understand.
I have tried installing it 2-3 more times as well without any luck.
What can I do?

i have problem ..how to fix?
when my diamond horizontal. I used rom 1.37.832.4 CHT
I have use GSEN. I can config setting CODE[ #windows(****) ].
what is **** name I need input ?
I love this, adds a little bit more to the diamond.
Question is there any way to choose which soft key it changes. I would prefer to keep the phone softkey and replace the programs key. would this be possible? some sort of config program may be?

It's possible, but you have to do it by yourself with a registry editor.
Go to HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
Modify the following value :
HomeLSKPath = (nothing)
HomeLSKText = (nothing)
Modify the following value :
HomeRSKPath = "\Windows\HTCActionScreen.exe"
HomeLSKText = "New"
After that, the left softkey "Phone" will back and the right softkey will become "New".
This is as descriped in the title.
I found the touch HD keyboard HERE, but were anoyed that it only included a few languages.
I have updated the file so it now includes:

Dutch
English
Finnish
French
German
Greek
Italian
Norwegian
Polish
Portuguese

I've a question though, I've tried to copy this .cab file to my phone and when I tried to install it it finishes by saying that I don't have the "sufficient system permission".
Ever heard of that before?

I forgot to add that you have to open your task mananger and kill SIPGT_app process.
Then try again. If this dosnt work, I simply doesnt know. :-/

Hey Dude. I tryed the landscape Keyboard but it is a bit too big...
You definitely can use it but keys like delete and t9-switch are out of the screen.
sblop did you tried it mate? is it working well on the touch diamond?
I always looked for one however the one posted previously had some problems including that the arrows werent working during texting....hope you tell us if that actually works or not...Thanks for sharing mate.

I use it now.
It works perfectly, except when in landscape mode. - As descriped earlier, it is a little too big. I will take a look on this problem, but I dont have time the next few days.

Thank you for this. But I have a problem with the norwegian version of Compact QWERTY and full QWERTY. Then I just get the old keypad. If I change to english I get the new one. Only with Phone Keypad I can use norwegian... Any ideas?

It works on mine. What rom do you use? I use duttys 3.3. Did you cloce the sipgt with your taskmananger before you installed it?
I've downloaded your cab file, but only have English, French, Italian, German and Spanish in the language options. Other than that it installed fine...

HR mean Hard Reset and you can do an hard reset by pressing red button, green button and soft reset button on the back.
About XIP and SYS i dont know... but i think they are some part of the rom

I installed this release normally, no HR was required.

I had a problem... the connection manager said No Service, no way to collect to the line. I had to return at the version 16...
dear aiyaz i downloaded the file but iam unable to install it kindly render ur help.
it says the the file is encrypted wen i run it on the computer.
but wen i run it on my htc touch opal it says first run the specific application and install the file.
I feel this rom a little faster than v16. What differences are between v16 and v17 beside the manilla 2d inside this version???
SOMETIMES AFTER INSTALLING PROGRAMS THE TODAY SETTINGS STOP WORKING. ONLY SHOWS THE "SETTINGS" TITTLE IN THE TOP BUT I CAN'T SWITCH TODAY PLUGINS AND I HAVE TO HARD RESET BUT THEN AGAIN, AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF INSTALLING, THE SAME THING!!

actually, theres a newer version, v20, flash that version instead... v19 has quite a lot of bugs, like the icons are retarted (i really mean tht).. i havent got the time to flash v20 but i can live with v19...

I took the latest build of Touch Input 2 from the latest Rhodium ROM and remapped everything for VGA. I know this has been done before with older builds, but I also re-aligned the landscape QWERTY keyboard with a layout that doesn't cut off parts of the keys like other people's versions do. This gives the cleanest look possible for our VGA screens.

The Phone Keypad isn't working correctly with the CAB file. I believe this is because the ezinput.dll is not being replaced properly with the new version and is causing problems. I'm keeping the CAB posted anyway in case people want to play around with it to try to fix it, otherwise I recommend using the PACKAGE format instead if you're cooking.

Just tryed it with my ROM and it works great (no activesync problem, all is well aligned) but i just have the full qwerty not the phone keypad.But this is probably because i use wm6.5 , will take a look

What language are you selecting when you see this problem? And did you use the CAB or the OEM Packages? I've had no problems displaying the phone keypad or compact QWERTY while I was testing. What Windows build are you running?

i'm using english, i've only installed cab i've not installed oem pack, I've windows mobile 6.1 running on my device, any solution?? I'll remove and install again may be it'll work
*I've remove it but my orginal keyboard is not working phone keypad and compact qwerty is not working also so it seems ruined, when i select these "Keyboard" opens that small and oldest one I've reinstall your keyboard it's still same only full qwerty working others not...

One of the best rom's i've tried so far, and belive me i've tried allmost all the nice roms that have been coming out latley
Though i got a little prob. Ive edited the reg to make use of the Danish eT9/xT9 and word sug. so far have been working great on all the other roms i've tried out so far, but on this one, I can see the Danish language in the input settings and the French and the Italien and Spanish and English. But when i select whatever language it will will still show English Language and WONT change the eT9/xT9 and the word sugsution either...
It's like it only can see the English lang and not any of the others, so now i'am stuck with eng language even the arabic one desepiered from under languages in the keyboard input settings after i edited the registery settings ....
Have tried to restore 2-3 times with no luck .
Any 1 have a clue of what the prob could be ? Maybe the other language files were removed ?
Downloading the eng ver. now to try out if it has the same prob, but then i'll be missing the arab lang support :-( rapisshare is ((( ssssLLLLLoooooWWWW)))) as hell when u r not a prem. member....
Other then this little isue, the rom is racket fast and stable, and looks very beutifull Great work on this one, hope to see more roms in the future from him...
