*NEW* Ultimate Diamond preview

hi everyone ..... this is my first post here so excuse me for the bad english
i created a diamond lookalike theme using ultimate launcher and here is a preview, as u can see i am not a graphics genius .... just modified some work found here on this forum and others so i really think i can use some help to come up with the latest version.
Pic #1 the top and botton bars i used WA3 with the theme clear reflection just replaced them with black bars
Pic #2 i used the diamond clock skin for rltoday and just modified the size and turned the black clock to white
Pic #3 nothing special just the samsung clock plugin and the today agenda plugin
pic #4 used the reflect icons found in the ultimate thread
Pic #5 batterystatus skin
Pic #6 phone alarm theme then dialpad for the photo contacts then some phone icons
i will share the ultimate launcher settings + all the PSDs used and icons shortly but for now please any comments or help will be very appreciated

i am really sorry for the delay guys i had a problem with the internet connection
in the attached file plz do as following:
1- copy the ini file into ur ultimate directory
2- put the ultimate directory into ur SD
3- the manila into rltoday and chose it as ur rltoday theme
4- finally use the images as ur wallpaper there is a dark and light version to ur taste
5- the apps icon will be found in the ultimate laucher refrence thread and its called reflect .... plz download it and put it into icons folder under ultimate/icons

I made a new vista theme for TF3D. Download over the link in my signature. Inside is the new comm manager tab and the german calendar from d-man. If you want to have the calendar in your language, please download the calendar locales file in your language, please rename the title in Calendar, like he disribed it here. Don´t copy the other calendar files (they are all inside) or change the order of numbers. Disable TF3D, copy all files with Total Commander to windows and restart. Hope, you will enjoy it. Two times during the copying comes an error. Don´t worry, all needed files will be copied allright.
Here - under the pics - is the file, for to set the words "Verbindungen" to "Comm Manager" and "Kalender" to "Calendar". Copy it in the downloaded folder with the manila files or directly to your windows on the diamond, replace the original file. Keep this file for later themes on your pc.

Have u fixed the black font problem in comm manager tab!?
I know u can still use it .. but u should say something in the description about it

No Nisse, i don´t have fixed it. I think, it´s the same as in the settings tab, so it has the same font color.
But with your help i changed a little the design od the background. Thx for the compliments.

I made a few changes in my theme (some more things in blue, frames, background). When you click on the link in the first post, you can download them.

Sorry ... i posted fi´ve minutes to early... the new desktop variation was not inside. Now the changes are [for today ] complete. Please download the changes again...you can see the changes also on the screenshots in the link.

Sorry, i fear, that i can´t help you with the landscape version. I have only the diamond. What´s wrong, when you use it? Maybe, i find an answer or somene other here.

New changes
I am learning...so i must post every day new changes to the theme, don´t worry:
Today i am ready with the windows-tsk-file (Black & Blue), i integrated the diamond today picture and a better looking volume control. You can download the file in the upper entry.
Much fun.

Hi Neo XL, I have just been trying your theme, it looks great, Thanks. However I am having some trouble adding custom cities to the weather database now, not a big deal. I Have removed the bricks and the bottom curtain and put in a custom home screen wallpaper with the analog clock from the french orange rom. The no bricks looks a lot better I feel they clutter up the screen a lot. I also think the theme would look better with a transparent slider like the one made by pamas which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430287. Just one more point, how about second level icons as well for example in the settings panel or the photos page? An example of second level icon implementation by stevedpl is seen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427503 it's a nice finishing touch. Again thank very much for the theme it is obvious a lot of work went into it.
I also made myself a single cab file to install it all using quick cab which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400221, with the correct english corrections in it, that way it is easier should I choose to remove it!

I don´t have the weather problem...don´t know, if there are more users, who have the same.
You can further shape the theme by your taste...i like your screenshot. The 2nd level icons i didn´t style in my 1st theme, but in the later themes (Pirates, LOTR and - tomorrow - Spiderman).
It´s is a suggestion, even to do something like you want.
You can post your results here for other users, so all can benefit of them.

Hi Neo XL, the transparent slider is the big one for me, I just love pamas's slider.
Definitely sticking with your theme for now, Thanks a lot for your work, a great share.

No idea why, no reset but just powered on my phone and the butt ugly original slider has resurfaced, I will re-install the manilla files to dispense with it, just not sure why it should suddenly reappear, the theme, with my own customisations has been solid all day. Man I hate that ugly slider!

You must deactivate TF3d, then copy the slider files to windows, activate TF3D, and it should go. I tried another slider today...no problems.

No, i don´t have dutch files, but it´s easy to edit the manila from the 1st post. Open it with the editor and search for this lines:
<Page Order="10" Name="calendar.page" PackageName="HTC" Title="Calendar"> and
<Page Order="11" Name="communications.page" PackageName="HTC" Title="Comm Manager"
Replace the Titles "Calendar" and "Comm Manager" with the words of your own language and save the file. Copy this file to your windows on the diamond and reset it.
I don´t wanna make a cab, because for editing and updating this is an easier way.

What slider did you try, I have yours back at the moment and very nice it is too, with a pure black theme, but when you start to add wallpapers you can't beat a transparent one.

I tried the slider from my spiderman theme.

Installation :
Download the zip file on your computer. unzip. put the .teme file on your Diamond into the folder "/Internal Storage/Themes. (if it doesn't exist yet, create it)
Intall the "wallpapers" folder anywhere as you want on your Diamond. Those themes must be installed with TF3D config . Follow the developer's instructions.
To install on of the wallpapers, go to "Settings" tab on the tf3d and choose "wallpaper". The wallpaper only appear one the "Home" main screen of the TF3D.

I have been looking for one that i saw on that layout you made tho and i can't find it anywhere and hoping maybe you can help me out. I'm lookin for that theme you made thats composed of water. everything is basically made from water drops shaped in the form of the numbers and icons and the background is a rainy window i believe.
Regardless, this theme is absolutely gorgeous and will be tryin it out right now

The one you are thinking of is called rain, just do a search im sure it will come up.

Came up right away, thanks alot, i really appreciate it. I tried zitoun theme water, h2o, raindrops, everything but never tried rain lol first link was his 4shared link to download it.

great theme, i love the idea!! sadly i have a but though...
the top + bottom bars would need a different color and it was hard to actually "see" the tabs at the bottom ...
an update to those 2 and this would be my permanent theme!

[THE] TF3D Beta7/Vista Theme for manila

So after a week of almost giving up every other day I finished (as far as im going to take it ) this theme.
Before I post pics...
Thanks to all Mods and senior members for all Cust and help. Specifically:
NisseDILLIGAF - in general, also used NoTopCurtain, and black font files in theme
Giannis86 - for Landscape Icons
sushilange - for Manila editor.
Okay here it is.... Beta 7 theme. Zip includes PNG files but just copy MANILA files into windows folder.
note: Background is kind of bright and doesn't work well with all tabs. But I dont use all tabs so it suites me. and i just got quick cab but still dont really know how to use it.

I also made a dailer to kinda match. dont like stock dailer and the black Dailer is hard to read in sunlight.
So I made this dailer with big Numbers and contrasted them against theme. Added little accents to other dailer files.
Cause, you know its the little things.
Instructions: just copy image files from zip into windows folder on device.

This is a quality theme! many thanx ive been looking for a decent windows theme, only 2 issues with it tho, the numbers on the clock dnt sit on the flip thing proply (witch is easly solved) and that gr8 dialer skin dosent work with slide to answer, witch is a shame!! apart from that its pure quality

Can anyone tell me if it is posibble to change the skins on the diamond2 (the newest model).
What kind of program will i need?

no you can't because the skins you pointed out are for TF2D (manila2D) only.
Nevertheless it's possible to change the skin : choose TF3D2.1 skins for your Diam2
The best is to install themes cabs : copy the cab to your ppc then click on it with your explorer (total commander by example) to install it and soft reset (reboot)

First of all your Diam2 (topaz) is WVGA (480x800px screen) so you have to verify in thread title if the theme is really made for WVGA screens.
Second, your UI is called TF3D2.1 (or manila 2.1) here on XDA : that means you can install full themes made for TF3D2.1 or icons only (from bottom bar) made for TF3D (the first diamond or Blackstone). The best is to try different themes because there is no general rules : some icons sets will work but others won't
The last version TF3D2.5 from LEO device (manila2.5) won't work with your Diam2 stock rom.
there are different ways to get skins for your Diam2 :
- into the dedicated Topaz section : HERE (this one was made especially for your Diam2 so all the stuffs you'll find into this section will work on your Diam2)
- Into general dev&hack section you have the windows themes : HERE
(this is general section so all the themes in this section won't work : verify WVGA TF3D2.1)
- the most important skins databases for TF3D are for Diamond1 (HERE) & HD-Blackstone section (HERE) (because they are older than your D2)
By example, these ones should work on your Diam2 :
- Snoopy
(choose WVGA, don't install VGA or manila2.5 cabs)
- Dusk for manila2.1
- Coquette
- Vector
- my TF3D icons HERE
BTW skins & themes are mentioned by [SKN] or [THE] for a better readability in thread title
One last thing : never install a theme cab on a previous one, always remove old theme cab before installing a new one ^^

well i got something strange it does not fully work on my diamond
How i installed it..
i installed the cab on my memory card. then i installed the program and turned my telephone off and on.. and i tryed to soft reset it.
Is this the right way to install it?
The problem is that the first icon stays in color and the pictures of the icons do not fully fit in the icons. you can not see the full icon.

Do you have the new TF3D2.1 Sense (weather clock) ?

uhmm i have windows 6.5 with the newest rom update from the htc website. the rom update that change the colors the icons. And i do have the weather clock.

oh and maybe good to know.. i have diamond tweak installed on my phone
