Verizon XV6900 & the "Unlimited Smartphone Plan" - Touch CDMA General

I regularly check my plan options waiting and hoping for the day that the XV6900 is included on the lower priced unlimited smartphone plan. On a whim I decided to call Verizon yesterday and asked to have my unlimited data ($44.95/mo) plan changed to the unlimited smartphone plan ($29.99/mo) - even though I had called several times before and made the same request. I explained that my company did not have Exchange mail, and I would like to save a little money. The rep was very friendly, took a few minutes to find the plan. Lo and behold! I now have unlimited data for the lower price.

i've been on that plan 4 couple of months now and it's a good thing u know,u end up saving bout 180.00 a year

What's the difference between the two plans?

The smartphone plan does not allow Exchange mail and it's cheaper.

How awesome that I found this thread! I just called and changed to the smartphone plan...saves $15 a month! I am kinda disgusted that Verizon doesn't tell you this upfront.
Oh well. Thank for the info!

They not only don't tell you - they don't have it listed as an available feature. The only way to get it is to call and ask for it specifically.
Spread the word!

Heads Up (Canadian) Telus Subscribers

Before our American friends feel compelled to post how the Sprint SERO plan is all this and all that, here is a link to the SERO page. Yeah, we know all about it.
Some of you may or may not be aware, but Bell has introduced a 7$ unlimited data plan. For the longest time I have been nagging Telus to get with the times concerning data going all the way up to the Head Office. Now that Bell has beat them to it, they are suddenly in a negotiating mood. Here is what a simple phone call to customer service got me for 34$ a month:
- Unlimited Data (no restrictions, tethering or otherwise)
- Free incoming calls US & Canada
- 250 anytime minutes
- 100 text messages
- Voicemail 25
- Caller ID
If Rogers can get into the 21st Century, I will have to remove my signature

:| Wow... I thought the $15 unlimited IM and Email plan was pretty good. How long have you been a customer and are you on a contract?
Thanks for the heasup!
I've been with Telus for 3 years and not on a contract, but it makes no difference. The CSR told me the Canadian wireless landscape is undergoing major changes and Telus wants to make sure all their customers take advantage of it. If you've got a PDA phone, give them a call
hey borealcool, just out of curiosity, what exactly did you say to them that convinced them to set you up with such a sweet package? And who did you talk to? I called them today (611) asking if there was anything that could be done but got nothing...i'm still stuck with the crappy $25 for 4MB plan...any help would be great. thanks
I called with the firm intention of moving to Bell saying they have an unlimited data package for 7$. The lady transfered me to another department (customer retentions?) where another lady picked up. She told me Bell's offer came with built-in restrictions and I said what, tethering? She said yes at which point I said that's not a problem, I've got friends on the Internet who can help me hack that. She said I know
Anyways to make a long story short she told me the Canadian wireless landscape is changing with deregulation, competitive prices etc. and asked what would satisfy my needs. I told her about Sprint's SERO packages (she knew about that too) and after looking at my calling pattern she said I never went over 250 outgoing minutes and 100 text messages. I said that would be fine along with unlimited data and she set me up
The plan I got is not advertised, but I think 2008 will see major announcements from wireless providers and why not? Bell, Rogers and Telus are all residential ISPs offering unmetered data and extending it to their wireless packages simply makes sense. I my case, I use data for communications and surfing the web which hardly consumes bandwidth. The teenager next door might download gigabytes of MP3s, but my low consumption balances it out and they know this.
this $7 unlimited data plan is a farse. its false advertising. the touch and all other windows mobile phones are data devices. the plan is unlimited mobile browser. i checked and thought i wasnt being billed for data... the only limitation to the plan being tethering, which i wasnt doing. long story short after a weekend of data use i had racked up $19,000 in data charges. (not a typo). check my thread for full story details.

Following borealcool's post, I called Telus and see what it's all about. I was very straight forward with the representatives telling them I read on a forum about the unlimited offer. The 2nd rep I talked to was fully aware of it and explained it was intended for new subscribers and renewals (something of that nature). But still, they kindly gave me the plan eventhough I've been with Telus for just few months. So I can confirm that they do have an unadvertised deal where for 15$/month, you get unlimited Web. But it doesn't apply to tethering as borealcool stated.
Finally!!! I now have unlimited Web from my phone so I don't have to worry about busting my limit! Thanks borealcool for the tip!
Good on you lugom,
As stated above, what I got is not an advertised plan. It's Canadian providers waking up to the fact their ridiculous price gouging can no longer be sustained. It's extremely surprising that Bell set the ball rolling, but I think the Conservative government also had something to do with it by announcing their intention to deregulate the market. The last thing providers want is American competition!
EDIT: Btw, what you said about not having to worry about busting your limit is DEAD ON. I'm not a heavy data user, but I've got enough stress in my life without having to worry about my cell phone's data consumption!
Hey guys,
Just an update...Tried again today and had no luck. The CSR told me that they couldn't do anything about my plan because the $15 unlimited email and im is only available to the touch and two other phones that aren't the p4000. He also said that it's only available to new clients with new activations.
I'm guessing they're like this because:
-I'm only 7 months into my 3 year contract
-I can't prove that other people with a p4000 have the unlimited data plan
-I'm completely missing something...
I know a guy on howardforums mentioned that while talking to the CSR he gave them a phone number of another guy that had a p4000 with the unlimited data plan and they were able to give him the same plan...

They are hardballing you and you have two choices:
1. Live with what you have.
2. Hardball back.
If option #2 is in your blood, here's what you do but be prepared to terminate your contract at the cost of 580$ (20$ per month of remaining contract). In any case it will cost more than that in overages so you don't have much to lose. Your P4000 should fetch a minimum of 200$ on eBay. We have number portability in Canada now so if keeping your number is important that's not a problem either...
Rule #1: Remain courteous, patient and polite. CSRs have no gripe against you and most want to help. Call them saying you want to terminate your contract to go with Bell's unlimited data plan. The CSR will transfer you to another, rinse & repeat. The next CSR will either offer unlimited data or, if s/he knows what they are doing, will suggest you sign up with Bell first to transfer your number without interruption of service.
Good luck!
I got the plan!!!!! It took me three days and about 8 reps but finally the last one said yes. Basically what they gave me was the talk to me 30 plan as well as the $15 unlimited messaging and email that now includes data (the data part is unadvertised). I am happy now.
My story called the other day and was flat out told "no". Asked for a supervisor and they said one would call me back.No call from a supervisor yesterday so I called first thing this morning went straight to account cancellations and told Aneshia that I want to cancel my account and get the Bell Touch (BTW I don't even have Bell in my area lol), and that a supervisor was supposed to call me back and never did. She went ahead and offered to look into getting the $15 unlimited plan added and came back after about 2 minutes and said that she would apply it and that I had to change my voice plan becuase my contract says I must spend a minimum of $45/ month. So I got the talk to me $30 plan which inlcludes more than what I get with the base Talk and Email for $45. Thanks "borealcool" for paving the way!

Yeah she did mention one of the reasons they will give it to me is that they are pretty sure they will be expanding the deal to other devices in the future.
well boys,
i have called Bell about 5 times trying to get them to give me something i can be happy with.
right now i'm paying $100 for my data plan which includes 1gb. that's wayyyyy too much and i told them about the Telus $15 plan. they refused me and i terminated my contract with them as of next month. so anyone that wants to buy a Bell 6800 leave me a msg.
screw Bell to Hell!! and i was a loyal customer for 5 years!

You don't have to. If you subscribe with another carrier before the end of your contract with Bell, you can ask the new carrier to carry you current phone number with them. It's almost instantaneous. That's a law in Canada now. That's what I did when I went from Fido to Telus this summer. And, if data is really a must have for you, you can always go with Telus and ask for the 15$ unlimited data plan explaining your coming from competition (and still retain your number.) If they say they can only give the plan if you choose the Touch (and if you don't want this device), insist on the fact that you know peoples that owns P4000 and got this very plan with their current device. I know I do, as many others.

cool thanks. is there anyway i could use my Bell 6800 on the Telus network?
Illimited data plan still going on?
Hi,
6 months later, do anyone of you still have the 15$ illimited data plan? I've called Telus and they tell me there's no illimited data with this plan...8$/Mb!!!???
Thanks for your help
JF
Anyone could reply so I can call back Telus...please...
I asked Telus Mobility to add it to my existing contract Dec 2007 with my PPC-6700(Apache), Feb 2008 I've moved to a PPC-6800/P4000(Titian), contract will end Apr 2009.
The bill still states "Unlt'd Personal Email & IM 15", I'm using about a 100megs of data and about 10megs tether data a month.
Yes, I'm still on the $15 ulimited data plan and it's F$%^ amazing, I never thought I would use that much data but when its unlimited.
The deal started in July 2007 if you had a $45 voice plan, about 4 years of existing service they could add the $15 unlimited data any phone other than Blackberry's. Oct 2007 to counter Bell's offer the voice requirement drop to $30 and still no Blackberry.
In late March 2008 co-work recently tried to sign up for the plan but no go the offer expired in Feb 2008 and he's been a 11 year customer of Telus. This is the standard offer now http://www.telusmobility.com/bc/plans/pcs/email_all.shtml
The only thing to do is drop everything and move to Bell for the HTC Touch and $7 data or wait for the iPhone to start some more competition.
I still would like the $7 from Bell Mobility but it's locked to the HTC Touch and non-pda phone. I've asked Bell if I purchased the HTC Touch with $7 data could I switch to another phone while retaining the data. NO NO NO they will charge you standard data rates.
GOOD LUCK
Thanks for your info. I can't find that 7$ data plan you're talking about on Bell's website though. The cheapest plan I see is 15$/month and its not illimited: 2 Mo/month!!! Are you in Canada??
I just want the right info before I call back Telus...
Thanks again.

Looks like the at&t $15 Data for N1s is over...

I just got an email this morning on about the $15 data plan for my at&t banded Nexus One. Seems as though they finally got their hands on the batch of IMEI numbers for the at&t N1s. Be forewarned, you may want to grandfather your unlimited data now for $30 then deal with the new plans in light of this.

Same here. They still don't list my phone on the website though. Oh well, at least I can tether without additional charges with my N1
No email here yet, although I'm on the $30 unlimited text and data, and I still have a generic dumbphone listed as my phone.

Hartford, CT has T-Mobile 3G. That's not what he was talking about anyway.
Yeah, I don't have a real big problem with it. At least I'll be grandfathered in with "unlimited" data before there swtich (you would think they would wait till after the 7th), so that is the silver lining to all this. A few days ago, I found the way to download PDANet by pulling my SIM card, connecting to Wifi, and then downloading it, so tethering hear I come.
(I still run stock only because I'm a while weary of voiding the warranty. Plus now I'm waiting for the OTA FroYo anyway, so I'll wait on any potential rooting for a little while).
...and I live near Hartford, so T-Mobile is always a possiblity in the future. Verizon has the "best" coverage, and Sprint has the best bang-for-your-buck plans (plus the Evo 4G tomorrow), but I've always been reluctant to join a CDMA network over a GSM one. Although at&t has been pi$$ing me off lately with their executive decisions (tethering, lack of the android commitment that they said by first half year, the iPhone and Steve Jobs love-making relationship, now the data plan switch). They need to get with it. *gets off soap box*
No email here either. I'm a Premier customer with a family plan so my data is only $10/month for unlimited. This would be a real bummer so I guess I can only hope that the roll-out is slow...

Yeah I got the dreaded "for your convenience" email too. I had been on the $15 plan for 3 months. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.
woke up to find the email and text message. damn you ATT, damn you to hell.
Just got the dreaded text this morning. I went to my local AT&T store just to double check seeing as how I was in the area, and the rep there said I had the $30/month plan, which included NO messaging.
Looks like I'm going to have to have to call AT&T...jerks.
Cant wait till i get my new phone in two weeks. In the mean time ill use my x1 or x10 for a few days on the 15 dollar media net. When the new comes in ill just swap.
yup, just woke up to those 2 text messages. I don't mind paying the full 30$ for unlimited data though as long as I got 3g. T-mobile is out of the question due to their spotty service in my area and I get a discount on ATT anyway.
I was also on the 15 dollar plan. Got bumped seemingly overnight.
Just got off the phone with two different reps at ATT. They changed me to the 30 dollar plan because my phone was included in a sweep and was identified as a HTC Nexus One
They switched me to the 30 dollar unlimited data plan for smart phone users, and that was that. They told me that for 3 months, they included a foot note on my bill that said that I needed to switch, which had I called in and mentioned this during this time, I could have gotten out without an ETF...but guess what. Today was my 3 months, and I have now forfeit that right? At least, so says my ATT rep...
So question .... when i get my new phone in two weeks ... if i get hit with the sweep will i be on the unlimited data for 30 or some dodgy plan.

Yeah, I tried to switch over to the $30 all-inclusive data plan which included texting, but wasn't able to do so. I might just switch over to my KRZR for a day and switch to see what happens, but I'm assuming I'd be back at square one.
unless you have the 30$ plan before their new limited data plans are rolled out, you will be forced to one of those options.

DroidX is $199 and $70/mo without the $10/mo "premium data" fee

Hrmmm I never thought I'd see the day where Sprint was nickel and diming its customers more than Verizon (the king of overpricing) on a similar high end phone but I guess today's the day. $70/mo vs $80/mo - $240 more over a 2 yr period...
Gizmodo, the Gadget Guide
4g wont be in my area for awhile (Inland Empire, CA) and I probably woupdnt use it anyways due to battery drain so is there any real reason to get the Evo over the DroidX?
If anything I hope this gets Sprint to drop the fee. Competition is great
Cheapest Verizon plan with unlimited data/text is $90/month. Not including the unlimited mobile-to-mobile that you get with Sprint.
What does the $70 Verizon plan include? Is it unlimited everything like Sprint?

Exactly what I was thinking. I will be paying $91 with everything unlimited and with insurance. Sprint > Verizon
Hardware wise, the Evo is still superior to the Droid X. Also as far as I know, Sense is better then Blur too
I have the HTC Incredible and I can tell you that its not $70.00 so I am not sure where the nickle and dime statement would fit.
$69.99 for unlimited mobile to mobile.
$29.99 for 5Gig 3G and if verizon has anything to say about it - $44.99 for the enterprise data package which they sell to Smart Phones who want Exchange access and Blackberry.
$20.00 unlimited text.
Let's see lets round up for ease. $70+30+20 = $120.00 - sure doesn't seem to be $70.00 to me.

Meh. Google Voice is nice but I still prefer the carrier's texting plan
not for nuthin, but if you want to compare apples to apples here, verizon is more expensive because their basic plan (the you're referencing) doesn't include text messaging. once you include the unlimited messaging (which is included on Sprint), Verizon is $90/month vs Sprint's $80/month. Sprint also allows you unlimited calling to ANY cell phone in the US on ANY carrier at no extra charge - with verizon you're limited to just other verizon cell phones.
Although Verizon's hotspot feature is $10 cheaper per month...
VZW's hotspot is cheaper, but it's not unlimited.

[Q] Web2go and Samsung Vibrant?

I was just wondering if anybody has personally been able to use their grandfathered $10 web2go data plan with their new samsung vibrant? I was able to use it on my old wm phones with the right apn settings but I'm not sure if it's the same in android. If you have gotten it to work, I would really appreciate it if you could post your apn settings because so far all the ones I've tried online haven't worked for me.
All of those grandfathered plans work -- for about six hours. I was using T-Zones on my iPhone, which worked on my Vibrant until my account updated. Once T-Mo updates your profile with the IEMI number of the device, they cut off your access and forward your phone to an obnoxious 'Upgrade To The Android Data Plan' message.
If they didn't have your phone registered in their database, you could continue to use your grandfathered plan (which you should be able to do anyway, to be honest).
And then, of course, you're asked to pay $30/mo for an 'unlimited' data plan that actually has a 3G cap of 10GB. Once you reach that threshold, you're throttled to EDGE.
Meanwhile, Sprint and Verizon have truly unlimited data for phones, for the exact same price.
If Verizon still has their unlimited data package when their GSM network rolls out for LTE, I know where I'm going...
If u talk to customer loyality you can get the grandfathered $20 / mon data plan. I know it's not the $10 plan but atleast it's not the $30 plan. I talked to them and they let me use that plan, just make sure you request them to add-on the visual voicemail option if you use the TMo one since it won't work off hand w/out it added on as an option (this add-on is free).
No direct experience with the $10 plan, but I had the way old 5.99 T-zones that allowed a proxy setting to get full 'net access on a symbian phone. It worked for a few hours with my first android then was blocked. I stuck my brother's SIM whose account had the same proxy 'net access with no monthly fee and it worked with android for a few hours as well.
Seems as if T-Mo is detecting android phones on the network and actually enforcing a data plan requirement.
I've read numerous posts at the official T-mobile forums and beyond a couple of phones like the Samsung Behold, no Android phone and certainly no upper-range Android phone that is branded by T-mobile (they have the IMEI numbers blocked) will work with the $5.99 T-zones or the $10 web2go plan. The only options are the $30 (EM) / $25 (EM+) Android data plan or the preferred version for loyal customers, which is $5 cheaper.

Or the $19.99 plan if u call in and talk to retentions they can add it there. Did it there with no issues.

Well I tried calling several times but no such luck on getting through to the customer loyalty department thus far. Is there some special password or buzzword to talk to these guys? Although truth be told I've only been with tmobile since 2007. Is that a long enough time to qualify for this preferred plan? I really love how tmobile screws us android users over. It's no wonder as to how they're losing customers and yet still gaining revenue...
You have to say that you're thinking about moving to a different carrier, and you'd like to be transferred to the customer retention department.
I brought up the Sprint $70/mo unlimited plan (450 landline minuts, unlimited cell minutes, unlimited text, unlimited data). I was able to negotiate unlimited minutes (regardless) and unlimited data for $70 (I declined texts because GVoice is free, and texting is stupid anyway).
Hope that helps.
I think I'm just gonna return the vibrant and use my hd2 until my contract ends in a couple months and then possibly buy the vibrant off contract. Perhaps by then they'll have actually bothered fixing the gps although I'm not holding my breath...
The only thing I don't understand is on the even more + plans it seems data is $20 a month in the bundle. Is this true for android phones as well? Or is there some special android data plan designated to milk us for more money?
just get EM+
if u get the talk text web package it's included.
or else it's $25.00 addon

Thanks, I think I can live without data for a month so I guess I'll switch to that plan when my contract's up. I may just use google voice for text since I don't even use it that often.
I was on grandfathered "Total Internet" and it worked for about three hours. Then I got IMEI intercepted. ****ers.
Anyway, called and raised hell, they switch the data to the Loyalty Android. Same price. I then went back to the HD2 and it didn't lock me even after several hours, so it appears that with Android Data you can switch between it and Windows Mobile, but with the old "Total Internet" you CANNOT use Android handsets.
Pretty stupid if you ask me, and I told them so, since there IS a $20 option that Loyalty can put on the account (if you qual for it, and if you have grandfathered data they should not object, since there's no reason for you to pay more and GET LESS.)

Interesting. And what would the qualifications for that plan be?
If you don't have Total Internet, you probably can't get swapped over. Total Internet was their old $20 unlimited (TRULY unlimited, not throttled) data plan.
I've been with T-Mo since it was Voicestream, and had Total Internet on my old Nokia 6161... with which I tethered! They did not want to see me leave, and I was quite willing to go to Sprint if I had to. It helped that I am off contract.
Damn. I've only been with with tmobile since 2007. Right around the same time at&t's network began bucking under the weight of the iphones really.
Like I said: try calling customer loyalty / retention. I've been with T-Mo for nearly a decade, and they switched me to the $20 'Unlimited*' Android plan, from my $5/mo T-Zones.
*Plan is not actually Unlimited -- 3G Data is capped at 10GB. Upon reaching 10GB cap, said customer is dropped to EDGE.

Considering you were with them for so long it would make sense for them to give you that deal but I only got about 3 years under my belt with them. Aw well, I'll give it another try anyways. Couldn't hurt right?
I've been with t-mobile for 3 months now...month to month everything plus plan. put my sim card in an old phone, added $10 web2go plan, swapped sim into vibrant, instantly needed to upgrade my data plan, I called t-mobile, when asked to say what I needed help with, I said 'cancel services', once I connected to a rep I told him I just added $10 plan, and now my vibrant wants me to upgrade again, he told me $10 more per month, so $20 data plan, now all is good, pretty simple

sounds good, will try
I went through customer loyalty. They gave me unlimited talk for $49.95 plus unlimited web and text for $35.00. That's $20 for unlimited web and $14.95 for unlimited texting. I quess that's a good deal. If not some one tell me! LOL! So I can call them again and haggle!

$20 web plan for android?

SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED look at the bottom of my post you will see instructions
$10 web2go doesn't work on android (plz correct me if I'm wrong I tried everything to get it to work) I Cannot Afford the 30 dollar data plan for android.
I read on some forums there is a perffered internet plan that is 20 dollars and available to customers of over 2 years. When I called up t-mobile they stated there was no such thing and its only 30 bucks... is it possible to get it cheaper the 30 bucks or get web2go on my vibrant I really need this even if it isn't an unlimited plan.
Sorry if I am repeating this thread I don't know is I am posting in the correct category
SOLVED!!!
OH YES I JUST GOT THE 20$ PLAN!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS FORUM I DID IT EXACTLY LIKE THE SECOND POST SAID.
1.call 611 and say cancel services to the automated bot.
2.give the info needed to the bot
3.when the representetive will pick up tell them that you just got a new plan with the phone you have (i said vibrant) and tell them you are considering canceling your account because its way to expensive for you to pay 30$ even though i like the vibrant. Make excuses if they keep asking you questions but most likely the RP will say that they could offer you a discount and let you have it for 20$. AMAZING!

When you call, go to the retentions department, say "cancel account" on the automated system it will take you directly there, tell, don't ask the rep that you want the $20 web plan. If you're lucky he will be nice enough to give it to you based on your loyalty as a customer, if he doesn't give it to you try a different one.
I got the $20 plan for both my lines on the first try.
good luck

Call T-Mo (611) and ask for retentions or say you want to cancel your plan (which will take you to retentions). They are the only ones that can get you the $20 data plan (from what I've read).
Speak to someone in the contracts dept, not tech support. They will hook you right up.
this is web only correct? no texts?

I have 2 lines under the old android unlimited data/unlimited text for $34.99. Last time I talked to retention last week they said that was still the cheapest way to go .
My wife and I have been T-Mo customers for 8 years. I have a Vibrant, she has a Nexus. We called a couple of months ago, just to speak with retention about our data plans. They got us on the preferred data plan at $20 a line, unlimited family messaging for $9.99 and 600 shared anytime minutes. All total, $92.00. We obviously still get the free nights and weekends and mobile to mobile. $92.00 is not bad for two android phones with unlimited messaging and data. Most of the people we call are on T-Mo as well, so that works out too!
Call and talk to retention, no one in a retail store can do it for you.
I've been a T-Mo customer for 8 years, too. A couple years ago I was using their [email protected] service. They discontinued that service but called me up and offered me unlimited voice at the loyal customer rate instead. Last month I bought the Vibrant and they gave me the loyal customer data plan without even asking. I'm paying $75/mo for unlimited voice, unlimited data and 400 free TMs. I am a happy camper, and it has kept me from going to AT&T for an iPhone.
I wish I would have been able to get a better plan, instead I moved to EM+ and can't go back... =(

I'm paying $190 with taxes for 2 android phones with unlimted data, text and minutes.
I'm paying $65 a month for 1000 minutes, unlimited data, and no TMs ($40 for the 1000 minutes plan, +$25 for the unlimited android data add-on). Works fine for me, and I've got a GVoice number, with the GVoice app on my phone, so I can actually receive TMs through that number with the app.
Not sure when but TMobile will be rolling out new options and doing away with flex pay. Will still have same features SS flex pay but also offer cheaper data plans like at&t. Fight now you're stuck with $30 because you wanted the best phone. You want a cheaper data plan downgrade your phone or get rid of text to save and have your friends IM you or email.

I just left the store and they said on the 15th of nov that a 15 dollar 200mb plan would be available for most android devices. The 200mb acts differently for each account type. I have also seen this mentioned on several sites.
http://www.tmonews.com/2010/11/t-mobile-adding-data-plan-to-new-data-lineup/
Just spoke to them yesterday, I was asking about canceling my upgrade. Rep quickly offered $20 data + $10 sms. Plus I kept the myFaves I had grandfathered. So my bill only went up $5. Not bad.

Our "after-tax" total is about $106 for 2 android phones with unlimited data, unlimited texts and 600 shared minutes, free nights and weekends, free mobile to mobile. We don't call a whole lot of numbers that aren't T-Mo, so we don't ever use all the minutes.
Our "Family-time" text package is grandfathered in from back in the day. Unlimited text, pic and voice messaging for ALL lines on our account - $9.99 total, regardless of number of lines.

nice, in all reality we don't use that many minutes, her more than I as I work from home and text all day. I have a land line and a company line I can also use also to make calls out. I need to double check but I thin I pay like $79 for unlimited minutes so the next plan down only saves me like $5 or $10 a month if I remember correctly.

Is that $65 after taxes? Also, is ti contract or not? I had just Unlimited Data last month hoping I could get SIP/VOIP working on my phone but I eventually decided to get minutes so I can use for work. They gave me 500 minutes and I was told my bill would be $65. If I can get a little more cheaper I would be happy.

You guys know T-Mobile employees troll all these popular forums. I'm not talking about store employees who are members here. I'm talking about executive services, people high up at T-mo troll the forums, especially during new phone release dates, and I'm sure the more people advertise how to call and "pretend" to cancel, is going to eventually hurt the real loyal customer who is honestly considering to cancel.
I've actually had a rep I started conversation with on the phone, admit they visit these forums and read what people write. Just saying, if we want loyalty to continue for real loyal customers. Those who pay on time every month, for years, then we shouldn't be posting how to trick T-Mo. At the end it hurts people who have been with T-Mo for several years as loyal faithful customers.
