..Answer from the master himself!!

What does this CAB do? I mean if You hold the stylus on clock You can switch to analog anyway, but as the small handle only moves by stepping full hours unlike regular analog clocks, the clock is quite pointless. So what does the CAB do?
Thanks.

It's quite easy to imagine, really. If you have the battery icon showing up instead of the digital clock, you can't even change it to show the clock without editing the registry. What this tweak does is to enable the analog clock directly in those situations... Got it?

Ahh... It was that easy
Thanks!

BIG CLOCK? (not HTC Home)

i know it's not appropriate to request such thing here, but i've been searching for something like this a while... a simple app showing the clock on the today screen without more crappy add-ons like HTC Home. Anyone... please?
Great idea
ill second this, wood be great to have it next to my bed as an alarm clock, a nice full screen simple digital clock
it wouldnt even need to worry about power usage because it would be on charge
i'm not referring to full screen. Just a Htc Home like clock but without tabs and fluffy useless content

Check out battery status. It is highly customizable. I am using pieces of the theme from the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=372984
Like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344870 ?
not analog but a big digital clock. I'm testing Battery Status right now and it looks awesome but i want to disable all the other functions. Thanks for the help offered
good luck finding this, i've searched high and low and there is no plug in with just a nice big clock. tried battery status yesterday but it also has a bunch of stuff that comes along.
give this a shot http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-dr-puttingham-samsung-time.html
my device is VGA and that plug-in is too small for me
you can use rltoday.. if u want just a digital or analog clock.. it doesnt come with all the battery status stuff..
you can create your own skin or you can go to their forum and search for the desired skin...
edit: found these two skins
http://rotlaus-software.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1044
http://rotlaus-software.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=445
you can modify skin.xml to suit your needs..
the best solution for now is rltoday with a custom skin. Attached 'em, thank you all for the support

I'm of the same idea, I've made a simple skin that show a digital clock "identical" to the one of the HTC Home.
Sorry, but for now I can't post the code and a screenshot, you have to wait the next week...
Ah... I have a VGA screen, so my skin is perfect for you
i did the same thing with RLToday. I have the digital clock and the msg notifications, nothing else.
Anyone know if there is a font that looks like the Alien Round found in HTCHome Customizer?

Tried this? Much lighter than RLToday. You can customize size, font, style, alignment...

Diamond like clock

Hi there,
is there any programm that had an animated analog clock like the diamond has?
I can only find static clocks where just the time will change.
It would be great to have the diamond clock...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344870
its not diamond skinned but you can make one
search next time
Thanks for the fast answer, dude.
But i mean the clock with the brackets, like the one from the Manilla theme.
gotcha. normally, the term analog indicates something like this.
I suppose you could animate with some software of some kind. I don't know what kind, so i refer you to somebody else
http://rotlaus-software.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1397
Thanks, but it seems not to be animated
there are none

Analog Over Digital??? [DEVELOPERS NEEDED]

There's been alot of fuss about getting the analog clock and flip overlapping each other and its finally been done in manilla 2d. Wanted to know if we could get the same done for tf3d. It is very nice. I can try to gather donators if required.

It is already done by Nisse. In fact I am looking for a way forward with the construction of analog clock in TF3D right from scratch but nobody seems to share what they know

Transparent big clock, taskbar and slider for Touch Flo on Tilt 2?

Hi, can someone direct me on how to make my taskbars, (both bottom and top), slider and big clock transparent? I wanna have my home screen look like that.
Thanks a lot, guys..
Hi:
I am using this transparent clock, seems to work very well. I am not sure what thread it originated from, I found it in the Gfreek taskbar thread.
Thanks!
How do I actually apply that change? I installed the cab... not sure where I go to make the clock appear..

Before you install the cab., you need to disable TF3D (Start > settings > today settings> >items) The go back, install clock and restart TF3D
Good luck, this should work, works for me!
I installed the cab file, restarted my phone and clock came up as transparent after the reboot...
Hi:
Did you ever find the transparent slider or taskbar that would work for stock rom?
I would love to know if you did.
I can't seem to find anything on themes etc for Tilt2; I have posted a ton of places, and no one ever answers, so I guess there isn't anything available for the stock ROM
PS: I have found several threads that remove the top and bottom bars if you are interested, I find the info there too useful to just get rid of though, even though I hate them being black.
Thanks

Have a look at this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546746. I'm using the clock posted in the second post of this thread, plus the transparent slider from the URL link in the last sentence, plus the 1919 slider from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4303305#post4303305.

Thanks so much. The transparent slider you mentioned, is it in the first post of that thread (didn't see anything in the second post)? Also since it is for Diamond, isn't it VGA? Does this pose a problem on WVGA?
Thanks!

Yeah, I guess my response could have been more clearly constructed. Here's a more structured attempt:
transparent slider

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546746
Look in the links near the bottom of the first post for:
Laser Inc. Transparent Slider.cab (9.8 KB, 895 views)I'm using this on my Tilt2 (Stock ROM) with no problems at all.
slider icon set

I'm using the second set (from the first post), "Leo Slider - 1919" and absolutely love it.

Death To Flippy Clocks

I have a TP2, with Manila 2.1 and WM6.5. How do I get rid of the @#$%^&* flippy clock without installing Manila 2.5?

Thanks, but this doesn't seem to allow replacement of the flippy clock, it just makes it better behaved. Unless I'm reading the intro message wrong.
"Flick" up anywhere on your home screen and the clock will change to a smaller, non "@#$%^&* flippy" one. It isn't the best looking, but it might be what you are looking for.

Thanks, I know about that one. Ideally, I'd like to find something like the old HTC Home Customizer, which would offer a selection of clock fonts and styles.

Have you seen Cookie's Home Tab - you can choose an analogue clock or keep flip clock but disable the animation and/or have a smaller flip clock.

Did you not read his first post? He said he doesn't want to install Sense 2.5.
The steps previously posted work to stopping the flipping clock in 2.1, I tried it and no more flipping animation .

Which steps? Did you just stop the flipping, or actually change the style?
The link in post #3. Just install the cab and it stops the flipping (believe only in portrait but I really only press the home button when in portrait anyway) and it does not mess with your current clock style .

Looks like this tool doesn't really change the clocks, and a number of people who tried it had serious problems and couldn't uninstall it. I think I'll pass.
