Qtek ROM and UK Radio stack

Anyone tested Qtek Rom 3.16 and O2 Radio Stack 4.16 together?

Hi, i am using QTEC Radio stack 3.9 and Dutch ROM 3.15.15 together without any problems, if this helps?

Qtek ROM 3.14 and Radio 4.16
Yeah, I intsalled Radio version 4.16 and after that tried to install the new ROM 3.14.17 ENG but the installer simply would not work... no errors nothing... just vanishes after saying it was getting device info?!?!?? So now I have ROM 3.14.06 ENG working with Radio version 4.16... God knows how I can get the latest ROM installed on my Qtek 1010 and where to find the stuff on the net. MYXDA.com need you to enter the IMEI number and mine is no O2 XDA Anyone on this one?

I've tried this now, works fine.
I downloaded the Radiostack upgrade from O2.
They accepted mine IMEI code anyway.

did anyone try to upgrade Radio Rom 4.16 with the following:
ROM Version: 3.16.13 ENG
Radio Version: 3.19.01
I mean i was reading that you upgraded the Radio ROM only and it worked fine but the versions you mentioned are diffrent then mine and tell me if your having problem with 4.16 ...

PS: while installing did it ask you to replace old files with new one or something like that

I have upgrade to UK versions the radio stock updated but the radio unit give me error and now I have 3.16.13 ENG and 4.16.00
I test the phone it seems working fin.
Any idea so I can update the unit??

What's your current ROM and RSU versions ?

ROM Version: 3.16.68 ITA
ROM Date: 04/01/03
Radio Version: 3.19.01
Protocol Version: 32S54

You said your RSU is 3.19.01 so it's most propabily the Qtek. In this case there is more than one choice:
Qtek 3.25.01
TMO 6.24
O2 4.21
In all cases, since playing with RSU is a great risk, you MUST have SD backup for your RSU+CE before doing any upgrade. Persoanlly speaking, I would prefer starting by trying TMO 6.24 and you can get it from www.yorch.net upgrades. The Qtek one can be got from www.carrierdevices.com.au. One last important note: do NOT play with the band switching if it doesn't work from the first time unless you know what you are doing.

For the RS go with the QTEK 3.25.

Newbie needs help for ROM, ExtRom and Radio upgrading

i'm newbie with Qtek S100 (just bought last wednsday) and i would like to know where can i find the files (in english) to upgrade my ROM, ExtROM and Radio versions (also if you can tell me some procedures how to make it i would appreciate that)
at the moment i run ROM 1.03.00 WWE, Radio 1.01.00 and ExtROM 1.03.154 WWE

when i try to upgrade the rom it give
error unsupported language
unsupported language 'fra'

First of all:
Would it be possible for you to make a backup of your ROM and send it to me?
Process for backing up is described here:

For getting me the file, you can zip it and send it via Mail, or i can get you some ftp-Data to upload ......
Concerning your question:
Normally it should work. Maybe the adaptrom.exe will help you....

hello i am french and i have a qtek 1010:
version rom: 3.19.10 FRA
date rom: 06/30/03
version radio: 3.25.01
version protocol: 32S54
i realy need to upgrade it to the higtest wm rom that is possible (wm2003 and higter if it's possible)
a ANG ROM is not a problem
please help me quiqly!!!
