Hey dudes,
I created a new cool theme for PocketCM 0.15 called
Iolio V1.04 (FULL)
AND
Iolio V1.05lite (LITE)
It was merged out of 2 existing themes.
I liked them both and tried to build a cool new theme out of them.
I did additionally some fixes and improvements in graphics and colors.
Please enjoy and feel free to comment...
Kindest credits fly over to:
spencepu3 for the white marble theme located HERE
and
gturner for the iPhone Theme V1.71 QVGA located HERE
and of course to
tene for the great program PocketCM which is found HERE
Regards, Olioagio
The theme is full compatible with the PocketCM 0.13 through 0.15
Install instructions 1.00:
Download, unzip and copy theme.cmt to your local PocketCM Folder.
Don't forget to quit PocketCM prior to overwriting the theme.cmt.
Then restart PocketCM and you are done.
--------------------------------------------------------
Update 1.01:
I updated the theme for PocketCM 0.14. Still some minor bugs in
graphics left to be fixed when I got into new settings.
Most of you won't recognize them, though.
Update 1.02:
Corrected the bottom bar size bug, changed some graphics,
improved color matching, fixed some missing graphics.
Update 1.03:
- Corrected text overlapping bug
- Corrected color matching
- Some new icons
- New background image for better reading,
- Darker contact separator
- Fixed phonepad conflict with call tab (smaller)
- Fixed some minor bugs
Update 1.04:
- Fixed phonepad bug
- Improved some minor graphics
Install instructions 1.04/1.05:
Download, unzip and copy iolio_v10x.cmt to your local PocketCM Folder.
Press phone button 1s to get options screen. Slide to Settings tab
(second from left). Choose "Choose theme" -> iolio_v10x and you are set.

ha well theres quite a difference, themes are themes, im not stealing your programming code and merging it with my own without asking you, this might as well go back to having to ask windows if I can make a new background for the phone using their logo. There-in lies the difference.

First, I'm kidding.
Second, I'm not talking about the app, most theme I've seen use my theme as a base and so my images, etc... believe it or not, but when I release a new version, I also have to work on picture, draw them, enhance them, etc... This one for instance is using all my button image.
Anyway, I still encourage people to make theme, share them, etc...

Right, point taken, my first post was written before I realized he gave credit to me and gturner and I presumed that he was trying to put it out as his own, I realize now that is not the case. so no hard feelings once again haha and maybe he should add Tene to the list where most of the credit is due!

Hi spence,
my honest apologizes for ripping your marble bg without permission.
I thought it will be ok while giving you the credits. Hope you don't mind though Same for gturner which made the iphone base theme.
@tene
Yeah, you are right, most themes use your graphics for the lower bar.
This is because they are simply GREAT, so thank you, too for creating them
and of course for the great PocketCM application which is really a
milestone in finger friendly app development.

Hi, just download it and try it on my Artemis, work beautifull with my French Rom, great job !
respect. Nice work man.
I added the Letter Seperator, now its looking real cool.
thanks for the nice skin.
I have made a new theme for my new HTC Diamond, as the one I made for my artemis no longer looked right, as the image was stretched. So I have re-made it and decided to release it into the community, as there are so few VGA themes which look nice on the HTC Diamond
- It's both VGA and QVGA ready, as well as Landscape/Portrait ready
- There's a nice glassy/ripple effect on the start menu
- All of the system colours have been adjusted to suit
- Looks great in WM2003/WM5/WM6/WM6.1
- Really suite the HTC Diamond's looks
Download and more information HERE
If you want to link to this, please don't link to the executable file, but to the project page instead.
Please tell me what you think of my theme, I may make more in the same fashion if you all like it...

Not everyone likes TF3D, I eventually got annoyed with it because the home page doesn't show tasks at all and seems buggy when it comes to displaying calendar entries. I've got nothing against TF3D, but at the end of the day I need a home screen that shows the necessities and anything that doesn't meet that basic requirement, no matter how pretty it is, is useless.
Use SecondToday !!!
However... can you make a theme with black glossy 3D Bars, like the grey you've posted?

1: I've not actually disabled TouchFlo 3D, as that image was captured from the Windows Mobile Device Emulator, as you can see in the screenshot, so it's not running an HTC rom with TouchFlo 3D in it.
2: I have not only disabled TouchFlo 3D on my actual Diamond, I have flashed a new rom to it without the blasted thing even installed, as I find it an irritating waste of RAM and ROM. There are things i'd much rather use my system RAM for than some pretty interface. As the guy above has stated, it is lacking in several key areas, and is such quite useless for more advanced users such as myself.

Just grabbed this from you, mate, and a huge congrats!!! I will endeavour to throw some cash your way for your efforts. Thanks so much for this.
I thought maybe someone might be interested in HTC Diamond theme for S2U2 so I made my own. It's not perfect and the clock is not mine, but I've made there a couple of changes - used original TouchFLO 3D icons, used original WM 6.1 icons for statusbar, made all new slider (matching the HTC Touch style), fixed and cleaned the background (found here on XDA). All info is in enclosed ZIP file.
Enjoy.
EDIT (March, 1st): Screenshots slightly out of date.
LATEST VERSION 1.5x: Initial release (March, 1st)
LATEST VERSION 1.4x: V04 (February, 8th)
Version history 1.5x:
Initial release
All files updated in order to comply with 1.50 version
Included original S2U2 1.50 Diamond style as well as my Diamond Glass style
Version history 1.4x:
V04
Updated "redcircle.png" by original TouchFLO 3D images
Updated "system.png" by original HTC and Windows Mobile icons (alarm icon from TouchFLO 3D, WiFi nad BT icon from HTC WM)
Removed black background from "system.png" in order to make it compatible with light wallpapers = no more black rectangles
Added landscape "manila" wallpaper
V03
Corrected some "manila" clock files
Deleted screenshots from the pack
Added two new wallpapers
Added "glass" version of wallpaper and clock
Updated "readme.txt" in both Czech and English
V02
Cleaned the wallpaperb.jpg
Intial release
Known limitations of the skin/S2U2:
(red = 1.4x, blue = 1.5x, black = both)
I haven't designed the skin for neither S2P nor call answering. The skin was designed to look exactly like on the pictures I've enclosed.
The clock format must be set to "HH:MM" (01:30 format), otherwise the clock will be bad-positioned.
You can't use the "show large battery" function because it would mean there are no flips under the clock (the flips are parts of the wallpaper - just have look at the templates).
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO UPDATE TO THE LATEST 1.5X VERSION SERIES.
Very nice work, i know some released a similar version earlier but this looks like it fits in with TF3D alot more. Thanks!
Nice work, thanx

Great job. If I may make a small request though as to change the white flip clock to the glass flip clock? I would really appreciate it. I use the glassclock on tf3d so it would just match better thanks in advace

Nice work! Just a little note - why do you have the "flips" moved slightly to the right? Is it on purpose? Anyway - I've made another version if anyone found it useful.

Done and included in both pack (since V03) and templates.
Farkin Sweet! Thanks a ton for creating this, I REALLY appreciate it. Especially the templates! (Once I realized that it wasn't actually a real flip clock and half of it was part of the background.)
Great to hear that - anyway - just a little note - I haven't received any answer from the glass clock author, so I had to "rip" the source files from manila themes using the Manila Editor. The numbers are made by myself (actually edited), but I hope it looks pretty much like the original you wanted.
Wow, good job on that. I opened your glassclock template in Photoshop, inserted my own wallpaper, and sharpened it. Here's how it came out. (the only glitch i have found so far is that when the clock goes from 12:59-1:00 that the numbers slide over and no longer match up with flip clock outline.) Because of this, I'm not sure if my wallpaper for landscape will match (I have a TP). But I made one anyway. I also added a little more dimension to the slider and posted it.
:Edit: I got the glass to look a little more glassy/transparent. Now if only I could get the one in tf3d to be the same lol
The thing is that the clock format must be set to "HH:MM" (01:00) instead of "H:MM" (1:00) - there's unfortunately no other way. But I think I've mentioned it in the readme file. And what more - that's true that I haven't made the landscape wallpapers either.
EDIT: I've added the ZIP file containing the landscape templates. Thanks for your great idea!
Thanks for another template. Glad I could give you the idea. I took your advice about the clock and other than the a big "0", it's balanced. so I can deal. I also got bored and remade the slider icons again, and again, and again check 'em out! tell me what you think.
I think they're pretty good!
Great stuff. Thanks for your help.
Is there anyway to make the flip clock flip? Mine does not flip.
As far as I can tell - it's impossible.
That is what I figured. thanks.
Hey everyone!
I decided to stop this theme!
its not fun enough for my taste.. a little too generic even

s2u2 skin updated (vga support added and graphical errors fixed)!

s2u2 Preview:
*not everything is shown (one wallpaper, some of the buttons/sliders)*
INSTRUCTIONS:
-- backup original s2u2 gfx file if you wish to keep the original skin
-- unzip the qvga or vga gfx folder from the .zip file attached depending on your devices resolution
------ (excluding wallpapers, vga works with wvga and qvga works with wqvga)
-- there are different styles of unknown and nopicture callerid wallpapers, buttons, sliders and wallpapers within the zip
------ choose the one you want to use and name it to the correct filename (arrows.png, buttons.png, buttonl.png, wallpaper.jpg, nopic.png, unknown.png)
-- copy/move the gfx folder into your s2u2 folder and overwrite originals
-- you will want to disable the bottom bar and topbar in settings, and it would probably look best to disable the s2text for the dialer screens too in the lang file
FAQ:
Q: Are the call buttons/sliders hardcoded into a particular incoming caller wallpaper?
A: No, use whichever unknown or nopic wallpaper I have included, select either slide2end, slide2answer or simple answer and end buttons in s2u2 settings and you will see the sliders/buttons/wallpapers work independently from one another
Q: Will there be more FAQs??
A: Yup, as soon as I get more
WARNING:
I havent been able to test all aspects of the VGA version, but it should all work
If you encounter any issues (graphical) please upload a screenshot and/or description so I can work to fix it
Enjoy!

..
**if anyone knows why in the dialer incall screen portrait the disabled pause and add call buttons are still htc-styled please let me know..
I skinned every image I found that corresponded to that part of the dialer but they havent changed!**
DIALER INSTRUCTIONS:
-- first note that it is a QVGA skin, i dont know what the most popular VGA dialer is
-- unzip cab from zip attached
-- uninstall any previous versions of opal phone canvas if you have them installed
-- install the cab to device, not storage card
DIALER KNOWN ISSUES:
-- Not everything is skinned in the dialer, and there may be some issues as it is impossible for me to test everything
That being said, I tested everything I could, and I cannot find any skin-related issues
I tried my best to skin everything but there are over 200 files so it may be that I missed some
-- Also, I am still working on how to change the font color for smart dialing portion of the opal phone canvas
If anyone knows, please post or PM me!
it is the opal phone canvas, and I think its done by registry keys but the cab I used didnt install any
**comm manager coming as soon as i figure out which version this is so I can make the cab..
any help pointing me in the right direction would be great! (its part of NFSFAN's 6.5 rom)**
here are just the files for opal phone canvas
only use these if you already have opal phone canvas already installed (the version WITH THE INCOMING SLIDER

windows mobile 6.5 skin!
Preview of the skin for windows mobile 6.5 users
This theme will *only* work if you are running WM6.5!!
INSTRUCTIONS:
-- download the .zip attached
-- unzip the folder "files to put in windows directory" somewhere so you can look inside it
------ the Titanium_240x320.cpr file fixes the date issue mentioned above, and the StartMenu_GridScene_240x320.cpr will change your start menu from 3 to 4 columns
-- choose which files you want to copy to your device, and do so
-- soft reset
------ you will not see the changes until you soft reset
KNOWN ISSUES:
-- some of the graphics of the lock screen have not been skinned, like the locked dialer for example
when I get more time I will skin these as well
Also, I was going to make a cab, but figured not everyone will be using titanium weather and may not want some files or 4 column start menu etc.
If cab is requested by some of you, I will make one, but its a pretty simple installation anyway
Enjoy!

i think i will do multiple colors, but i am not sure how to implement other colors (should multiple backgrounds with one dominant color, or one background with a melding of multiple colors?)
i agree blue is overused, but to be honest, its my favorite color! and microsoft uses it a LOT (maybe i will bring in some cyan/very blue green as that is the color scheme in vista?)

Since there has been so many new ROM and UI releases for the X1 I thought I'd restart a thread where each user can show off a screenshot of their homescreen set up.
Hopefully it will get people asking 'oooh that's nice how did you do that?'
So Here's mine to start with:
I'm Using Jack's ROM 3.3. I've removed the curtains top and bottom and personalised it.
I took a random Noir-ish background and colourised it blue. (To match the Blue SE start logo)
All my highlights are blue too, and I added the X Icons pack.
Finally I installed the analogue and digital clock.
Please post your setups (But don't over post just because you've changed the background or added a new 3D scene ;-)
