im kinda new here buy i flashed my wing with elishacarbon v4.2 but it doesnt have the cube i was wondering if there is a rom out there with the cube. i saw that the touch-it v4.4 has it but i cant seem to find where to download it also how would you flash touch-it v4.4

thats the old touch-it roms.
opentouch 5 biggy i believe also has the cube. you'll soon figure out that it's not all that great.

After reading all the stickys and following the links I got all the setup steps and necessary utilities(RUUs and so on).
The only thing that confuses me is which is the latest (read working) version of Touch IT for T-Mobile Wing WM6 Pro? I see here is the latest 4.17, 6.1, the noob guide points to 2.3 so I got
I read there is some issue with the Wing keyboard. Does this latest version fixes it or I need some other fix for it?

There is already a cab for the wing keyboard fix. (Thanks David) Now we just need a fix for the MMS on Black 6.1.

ITJE's Touch-IT Roms are always exceptional. There has been an issue with MMS not working quite right and I don't know if this was solved or not... because I have not personally flashed the one that was released this past weekend... I'm sure it will be solved soon if it isn't solved already.
You can't go wrong with Touch-IT roms.
I've also been testing ASerg's new English rom which is quite good as well.

hey i was wondering if blackstone will get an offical upgrade to the new touchflo3d (diamond2 or touchpro2) frm htc when the 2 phone releases.

I don't think it's reasonable to hope such thing. When you look at the Diamond2 specs, it's nearly a cut'n'paste of the Blackstone's. Allowing an official upgrade to install TF3D2 on the HD would kill the Diamond2 — commercially speaking.
But if you want to get it anyway, you should try some cooked ROMs.
Exactly as clandestino_usr said. For HTC to issue this would kill off other devices by HTC. Rather annoying as Apple give out free upgrades to existing uers, why can't HTC follow suit!!!
You best bet is to use cooked roms. Once new phones come out with newer roms etc, its only a matter of time before a cooked version is available on xda developers. Just wait a while!

Yep, there are now several new cooked roms using the 1.56 rom as a base. the 1.56 rom are the roms used in the touch pro 2 and diamond 2 (inclusive of the new manilla/touch flow 3d) - My reccomendation: Dutty's V3 Ship!

hey cool. thanks man. i found a link to wwe 1.56 rom download at htcdriver.com -- couldn't find it when i did a search here in xda. thanks a lot for the help. am downloading now. by the way, i was looking at the dutty rom thread and website for a full list of features that the dutty rom contains, or maybe even a comparison of features side by side with the standard htc rom but couldn't find it --- is that posted anywhere?
does duttys do phone keypad with t9?
i read that somewhere and that put me off this rom
i went ahead and downloaded the dutty v3 ship anyway and yes it does have phone keypad with t9
Unfortunately HD does not have the hardware zoom slider. So we can't do any controlled zoom in the album using these cooked ROMs.
So there aren't any CAB installers present for installation of newer versions of TouchFlo?
I was using cooked ROMs for a while with 2.5 on it, but have went back to the Stock version for the sake of battery life. I'm not impressed by the version 1.3 on it, but I can't find any sort of CAB files for newer versions.

have a look the ROm development forum.. there are lots of ROM which you can flash which have the Touch Pro 2 interface... I am currently using Dutty 3.9.. You can try his final 6.1 ROM called Dutty's WM6.1 V4.1 Finale
No, it isn't possible: if you want Manila 2.1 flash an HD ROM with it

i have touch HD with a stock rom and running wm6.1
well stock rom is running unter manilla 1.3 which is quite old..
my question is :
can i upgrade my manilla ONLY from 1.3 to 2.0 or maybe later version without upgrading my WM version and ROM?
any ideas?

Get a ROM that have a TouchFLO 3D.
However, I think it's too risky to flash a new ROM for TouchFLO only.
You better rely this to the experienced person who have successfully flashed at least a ROM.
You can download ThrottleLauncher too, it's free, and looks almost same as TouchFLO.
