I've upgraded the ROM 1.60 into my O2 xdaII. Everything works fine, except that the GPRS connection will be dropped once xdaII goes into standy mode.
Are there any way to fix it by tweaking the registery or have to wait for the offical release ?

Has to be a ROM build in my understanding. A new "Feature" was added to the radio load.
and there is the main reason i'm not upgrading. ^_^

Hi, I'm trying to get experiences of MDA PRO owners that have upgraded their ROM, what would you reccommend, what works etc.... whilst I know all the devices are Universals etc... i've got a theory that i'm trying to test out, hence the topic.

latest qtec rom works fine on my dutch mda pro...

After trying JJ O2 Dopod I stick with Qtek latest rom in my opinion the best.
I use the imate, no problems yet, all seems to be good.
not sure if I am even bothered about the long delayed upcoming new rom, if the only benefit is bluetooth stereo headsets, i amay not bother.
Latest Qtek ROM is fine (exceept UMTS/GPRS switch)
Latest Qtek ROM is fine: fast, stable etc. Except for UMTS/GPRS stability and slow switch (UMTS<->GPRS) with Radio 1.0.9: sometimes it needs a soft reset to restore connectivity.
NL T-Mobile MDA Pro with unlim UMTS (384Kbps)
I have tried them all except the dopod rom and the vodafone.
I would stick to the qtek latest rom for my mda pro.

As above - sorry if report - I have searched but cant find an appropriate thread.
Using a Vodaphone card with an O2 XDA Exec. All works fine, but the GPRS doesnt appear to get 3G.
Using WM5 latest O2 release, as I need the Blackberry functionality.
I had the WM6, and the 3G then worked fine, but the Blackberry didnt!
Any thoughts as to why? Currently UK based and using PAP

I have a HTC Magician running Coyulla's WM6.1 ROM with SP1 and MMS fix.
I have been trying to get MMS to work for ages, I received an MMS i was sent ONCE and it never worked since, no matter what settings i put in.
I have tried various Telstra .cabs, HTC Network Wizard, manually putting in settings etc. I have searched the interwebs for hours but nothing has worked.
Has anyone on here been able to get MMS working using this ROM on the Magician? MMS worked fine in WM2003, but quite frankly, 2003 is teh suck.
Any help appreciated, over 9000 internets to whomever gets this working for me

Recently Bought a Mini S. Updated the IPL and SPL, installed 6.5 (which is working great surprisingly!!) and I'm now wanting to be able to use a lot of the internet features that 6.5 brings.
I use a 3G simcard from "Three" the uk network on my Atom Life, but the Mini S does not even register there is a simcard installed!!! It's fine with Tesco, O2 and Orange (Tesco and O2 use the same network and Three uses Orange I believe).
The same thing happened in 5.0 also.
Anyone have any ideas??
