Can any one tell me plesae how to update my imate jam rom from 1.12.2.23 to latest version i've download the version from clubmobile but when i'm try to install the sync is turning off and then it says ( send report to microsoft or don't send ) so what can be the problem i'm updating this only cos of live messenger in this current version i don't have live messenger its class msn messenger thank you for your replies in adv.

the trouble is..my xda not support for alot aplication, for example yahoo messenger, msn messenger or act..
my question is , how to upgrade 2002 version to 2003 version ?...because my software not support alot aplication.

do you mean
1 you mean that you upgraded your xda with a Rom from xda2 ?
2 you mean that you upgraded your xda with a xda rom which is 2003
xda1 with pc2003 dont make it a xda2 just in case you believed so
the xda2 have different hardware altogether
many applications from 2002 dont work with 2003 in those cases you need to buy them again unless the people who makes them will let you use your serial nr for an updated version of their software
sort of a similar problem here - upgraded to WM'03 via Yorch's kitchen but messenger is not working (logon to MSN messenger service failed because the service is not compatible with this version of the program) so I downloaded the latest update from MSN
BUT
I assume that since the messenger is cooked into the ROM updating is not that simple - it did not work
I have not been able to upgrade correctly so far - any sollutions
suppose you could try some of those programs which let you connect to icq, msn, yahoo msg, and ..... and install it in ram and connect from that
it should not be messed up by a old msn in rom
otherwise you need to get down and dirty and open the rom and pick out files you dont want in it

You need to download and install the MSN patch.

Microsoft made some security changes in October and you must have this patch running to access MSN. It will work once installed.
yeah install that patch and it works fine on pc2002 and 2003 i have it running on mine fine
i can use activesycn sign in hotmail account but can't via gprs cpnnection.
i can use gprs surf on the pda. just can't sign in msn messager and check email on hotmail. pls can someone one teach me ? thanks
are you already signed in to messenger/hotmail on another pc whilst trying to connect on your pda?

What PDA OS are you running if its Pocket PC 2002 you'll need to install
the MSN Messager update as for Hotmail you'll need to install a third party
program call HTTPMail provider 1.0.

i was using a imate pda2k before getting my wizard yesterday. On my pda2k i could backup and restore my sms using smsorganizer. On the new device, can anyone tell me how i can move all my messages from my imatepda2k to my imate kjam. Would appreciate.

ie i went to start smsorganizer today, and it doesnt start, but comes up with a pop up asking to check the website for the latest version...
