Hi everybody
Unfortunately I lost my charger for my XDA neo.
The thing is, that I do have two other USB-chargers for other devices but I am not sure if I can use them with my XDA neo.
Charger 1 (originally for a BenQ MP3 player):
Input: 100-240V ~50/60Hz 0.05A
Output: 4.2V - 110mA
Charger 2 (originally for a GPS device):
Input: 100-240VAC 50/60Hz 0.2A
Output: +5.3V - 0.5A
I think the sticker on my XDA neo says 5VDC - 1A and on the battery it says 3.7VDC - 1200mAh.
Does anybody know if I can use one of the chargers or would I damage my device or battery?
Cheers for your answers!

Hello,
Currently i am lost my T-Mobile MDA Pro original wall charger. But I have one another wall charger, from Motorola. This is the motorola's charger electric parameter:
Input : 100-240V 50/60Hz, 0.15A
Output : 5.0V 550mA
I dont know the parameter of the original T-Mobile MDA Pro wall charger. Because i am worry about the charger compatibility so i am currently using the USB charger plugged into the computer.
Does the motorola charger compatible with my MDA Pro? Is there any issue when using unofficial charger? Thanks.
Sorry for my bad english
OUTPUT: 5V - 1A
This is printed on my MDA Pro charger...
Dear Chosen_One, thanks for your reply.
I will looking for similar charger for my MDA and buy the original if I found it.
Thanks.
Hello
I have managed to charge 3 of 10 HTC Universals with motorola wall charger. Its output was 550mA, 5V... You can try, theres nothing to worry about, if it charges, than you can use it...
THanks Duke,
But, If i am using the different mA, will be there a problem?
What the affect if i am using the charger with different mA?
I am so worry about this, i am not expert in electric.
Hmm .. does anyone have the original MDA Pro Charger? please PM me if someone have.
Thanks,
Thare will not be a problem, only thing is that charging may take up to 2 hours...
You can find shargers on ebay for 10$ and they perform great, they have 1A output that original chargers for this model have...
Thanks Duke,
Oh my God...I found my charger,,,i found them on the inside my CPU..i dont know who insert it but at least the most important is i found my charger...
Hehehe...
hey all.. I'd just like to ask what the voltage of the TMo G2's charger is. Is it 110v exclusively? 110-220v? autovolt? I live in the Philippines and the voltage here for the electricity sockets are 220v. thanks for any reply.. peace out
You mean the htc one?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 running Cyanogenmod.
yep.. the original charger that comes with the phone in the box. is it 110v? 110-220v? we use 220v for electricity here, appliances and all.. thanks
Input: 100-240V AC 200mA 50-60 HZ
Output: 5V DC 1A
Should work.
thanks bro.. worried i might fry my phone if i charge it at 220v.
The charger that came with the Nexus 4 (bottom in the image) has the following specs:
Input: 100-240V - 50/60Hz 0.2A
Output: 5.0V - 1.2A
The LG STA-U12WR retail charger (top in the image) I bought has these specs:
Input: 100-240V - 50/60Hz 0.2A
Output: 5.1V - 0.7A
Will the difference in output cause any damage to the phone using this LG STA-U12WR charger?
A difference in 0.1 V won't make any difference, but the lower current means your phone will take much longer to charge (almost double).
And on the opposite side. Using the 1.2A charger that came with the phone to charge another phone which it's bundled charger was 0.7A would damage it?

no it won't damage it. the phone will draw as much as current it needs. if you are using 1.2a outlet and charging a phone which need 1.2a to charge, it will draw 1.2a current. But if you use the same outlet with a phone that needs 0.7A to charge, it will draw 0.7a not 1.2a.
Hello,
I have a "Turbo Charger" from my 2014 Motorola Nexus 6 which offers the following outputs: 5V - 1.6A / 9V - 1.6A / 12V - 1.2A. Will that be safe to use with the G6 and will it enable Turbo Charging like the stock charger? Stock charger's output is either 5V - 1.8A or 9V - 1.8A. Appreciate your input.
Also, any decent usb cables that you guys can suggest? Was thinking of something branded like Belkin but 25$ for a cable seems a bit steep, although I don't want to buy the cheapest chinese stuff I can find on ebay and the likes.
My Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is taking too long to charge. Earlier, when I started charging it, it would first show 'charging slowly', then 'charging' and then 'charging fast'. Now it is always charges slowly.
I searched around and followed the advice of trying another cable, but the problem persists, so it's not a problem with the cable, but with the stock charger. I borrowed a friend's Poco M2 Pro's charger. The specifications of that charger are:
Model MDY-11-EL
Input: 100-200V ~ 50/60 Hz ~ 0.5A
Output: 5V~3A / 9V~2A / 12 1.5A
Input: 200-240V ~ 50/60HZ ~ 0.6A
Output: 5V~3A / 9V~3A / 12V~2.25A / 20V~1.35A/11V~3A Max
The Asus stock charger is
Input: 100-240V ~ 50/60 Hz ~ 0.3A
Output: 5V~2A
When I used the Poco charger using the Poco charger but the Asus stock cable, the mobile started charging quickly, also showing 'charging fast'. This means the stock charger is damaged, and needs to be replaced.
From what I've understood, a fast charger doesn't make any difference as there are limits to what the mobile/battery can accept. Is the same true for the Max Pro M1 as well - meaning a fast charger can be used without any fast charging benefits (meaning same stock charging speed) BUT WITHOUT DAMAGING THE PHONE. This is the most important question I have.
Also, the Poco has a USB-C cable, so I removed that and attached my stock Asus cable to use it - is this okay, like any charger can be used with any cable, regardless of whether it is USB-C or not?
Since I have to buy a new charger, are there any you all would recommend. I've found a few:

I also have the charger of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Tablet:
Input: 100 - 240V ~ 50/60Hz ~ 0.3A
Output: 5.0V~1.55A
The output of this charger is lesser than the stock Asus one, so would using this one cause any damage to the phone?
Thanks.
Anything rated above 2A will work on this device.I suggest you buy the Ambrane AQC from the first link.I saw another member using it and the charging speed he was getting was pretty fast when compared to the stock charger.
I would suggest Oraimo (2nd option).. I've been using this charger for more than a year now.. Charging is fast and also charges 2 phones at the same time.. It gets hot while charging 2 phones but I have never faced any other issues yet..
