Anyway I don't like the "thread style" SMS view. How can I set the SMS view to display a simple list, as usual, without theads?

Using a registry editor edit settings
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s]
"SMSAvailable"=dword:1
0=old style
1=threaded style

I've tried every SMS program I could find out there. The one in pocketCM contacts, SMS chat, SmileySMS.
I found it that I prefer the normal windows mobile messaging app that comes with windows mobile 6.1 ( I did use the search tool )
Since I use a touch pro... I was wondering can someone make a diamond theme for the messaging application? Just changing the background, font colors, and some icons?
I wish I had at least a shred of skill in doing this stuff. I would have loved to do it myself.
So.... is it possible?

Pretty sure its not possible, at least easily - the messaging app is hardcoded so changing stuff would probably be more hassle than its worth.

Well, there is a utility for changing the background image, or background color, fonts and stuff. I think it's called SMS-Tweaker.
I don't mind cause my ROM, Manila ported ONYX, has the Message Tab, and i tap the message and respond in the thread. You know what, I'll place a black background and white text to match the theme.

That made no difference. Soft reset too.
It's a good question though. I don't often recieve text messages would fill the screen so a bigger font would be nice.

This only increase the font size of the official SMS software. I refer to the font size of the SMS text that is displayed inside the Message Tab of TouchFLO 3D. The suggested method has no effect on the font size for TouchFLO.

That's what I'm after too. It would make so much sense.
I spent hours trying to find a way to Increase the sms size in touch3d (it's too small for my eyes).
the only thing I found easy mun zoom for diamond BUT it doesn't work on hd. if u zoom, it only the font won't change until u scroll to another message. and it doesn't remember ur zoom preferences if u change to another touch3D tab
I think the reason the fonts are so tiny is bc they've over compensated for them being too big on diamond .
I scoured the registry for a font string associated with the messages tab but couldn't find 1.
would love to fix this problem, please help
use sms tweaker 1.5. its working well on my xperia so should work on touch hd also.

Comfirmed SMS Tweaker 1.5 has no effect. Only the official SMS software font will change.

i'd like to create a shortcut (.ink) to the weather app integrated in the TF3D.
I currently use the great Idiamond project by D-MAN666 and i'd like to access to the weather app integrated in the TF3D.
I did it successfully for "New SMS", or "Call History" for exemple... (ask if interested)
Does anyone have any ideas to do that ?

Just a suggest:
* possible to make it "Scrolling"? Like those TouchFLO Tabs, but... of course, they are program icons...
edit: The concept like the TouchFLO tabs... those icons only take 1 row to display, so when they have more (>6 icons in my case) those icons will drawn off-screen, then a swipe (or drag) a icon horizontally scroll the row of icons to reveal those off-screen ones
This will save a lot of screen estste when people put a lot of icon inside.
edit: This piece works well with my *OLD* Asus P750...

How about having the option to add links to programs? And perhaps with parameters as well. In that case you can skip the option about doc's etc, since you can add link to any doc, program on memory cards etc. And we can freely add programs always located at the same place that are not installed after a hard reset.

Excellent app - replaces the old Eten quicklinks, which suffered greatly from "losing" entries when a new shortcut appeared in \Windows\Start Menu. EasyToday does not have this "feature"
But, SELECT is only one link at a time, you have to return to the list screen for each link that you want checked. So maybe v1.2 willallows multiple selections off the list screen ?

Like this app a lot, but have a suggestion/feature request:
Add the ability to have multiple "pages" of icons that you can flip between with a left/right swipe motion.
I know that's probably not the easiest thing to implement, but it would be awesome.
(actually just noticed Clound pretty much said the same thing -- great minds think alike!)

Second vote for this! This is a great application for those of us who prefer today screen over the touch flow.
I would like some space between the icons to make selection easier. 5 or 4 icons per row with a buffer horizontally, vertical height is fine...

You want HDWall. It's primarily for making HQ wallpapers that work on all tabs, but it also allows you to create your own slider images.

Yes, it's possible, but it's a massive undertaking. In the time that Manila has been about, I've only heard of 2 (I think) tabs being developed for it, other than ones that HTC have made.
Manila is simply not configurable in that manner.

I did some research and see a program call MTP(Manila Today Page) can actually create a icon into the slide bar and link to a self defined program. I wonder how is it work and may be we can write our own icon too
