When using wifi and going to youtube am I being charged on my plan ? Also I cant play videos anymore when I go to youtube.

No sir. When you browse the web while you're connected via WiFi, you do not incur any data charges (Just make sure that you're connected via WiFi and not a data connection. You can double check via tha comm manager).

oh ok thanks

I dont know what happened.....a few days ago I could go to youtube and play videos but now I cant. It says an unknown error has occured. What should I do ?

Of course not. When you use wifi to search the internet or whatch anyother video online, it won't charge you any,you know. You are charged when you are use your phone's network.

What should I do now ? It wont let me play the videos.....it says an unknown error has occured.

Youtube problem on X1

I have a slight problem with youtube: It plays fine over Wifi but NOT over the data connection. It loads the Streaming Media app, displays 'connecting' then buffering and then an error: 'No audio frames found'
If I enable Wifi it works just fine. The data connection works well for everything else, it's not using a proxy and it's set to conenct to the internet. It also seems to download the data as my GPRS data counter is showing a few MB's downloaded.....yet nothing played.
Has anyone seen this before?
TIA
No One? We'll I'll try a hard reset then....
I never had such a problem...
Well....after a hard reset and some testing I found that it seems to work on one AP but not the other. Strangely enough, the Streaming Media player uses the conenction I set up for it but unless both Internet and Private connections (under Settings/Connections) are also configured to use it it still does not work right. Using Internet sharing from the phone it works with either access point.....however that would make any sense..... I assume the mobile youtube page must use a different protocol for streaming than the page I get to se on the laptop. Anyway, I'm on Telstra....maybe on other networks you don't get these kinds of headaches ;-)
Cheers

I get an error whenever I try to run Google Play over WIFI

Since I bought my new Nexus 4, I haven't managed to run Google Play over WIFI.
It's very important to mention that my WIFI connection is completely fine, and I can surf the Internet without any problems.
Whenever I open Google Play as WIFI is turned on and connected, after a few seconds I receive the following error message: "Connection Timed Out" near a button which allows me to try again. This message is not shown if I turn off WIFI connection and connect my cellular internet network. If I don't use WIFI, I can run Google Play without any errors and download any application I want to download.
This is very very weird because my brother owns exactly the same device (Nexus 4) and he doesn't get any error messages when he's connected to the same WIFI connection. We both have kept the original Android stock rom, we both haven't rooted our phones and that's why I can't explain why only I get this message.
I have already googled about it and tried every suggestion I could find (For example: http://wccftech.com/fix-no-connection-retry-error-message-on-google-play-store-app). Nothing helped. I even tried to do a factory reset but it didn't change anything.
Does anyone know what causes this annoying problem? I don't know what to do anymore
* I don't want to root my phone and I don't want to replace the original ROM which came with my phone the day I bought it.

[Q] Wifi problem plus sync problem

Here is the problem it has so many weird things so I just had to write it .. and please don't tell me to wipe my tab clean and bring it back to stock
So while the WIFI is connected and I can freely browse on Chrome or browser or even Youtube .. The WIFI signal is grey like there is no internet.
the problem is that i can't sync on google accounts and I keep getting this massage "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly." and can't open store cause of sync problems also
the other problem is when i try apps that might fix this problem it says there is no connection to the internet and also youtube also can't open my account on it cause of internet connection problem but can browse videos on it thou
My device is rooted .. I have lucky patcher ... and modded playstore .. I tried deleting caches and data stuff on all apps connected to this sync thing or might affect it and restarting tab and nothing worked
I tried so many stuff but I THINK the main problem is that it thinks that i don't have internet .. while I actually do and i could browse or youtube and even apps that use the internet are working
but google store and some other stuff with syncing + youtube signing says either there is no internet or connection problems .. and also my WIFI signal is grey
0 Replays .. Seriously guys .. come on

Wifi network issue

So Im at a hotel using the wifi.. Went through the web sign page and I chose the cheapest wifi package but found it slow... so I decided to go with the faster one.. I long pressed and "forget the network" , when I reconnect to it, it doesn't give me the option to resign-in..
anyone know how to get this to work? Everytime I connect to the wifi, its connected to the slow network...
