Anything that looks like HTC Home Plugin?

I like the HTC Home Plugin that came with the WM6 I flashed into my HTC Apache. Mainly I like the big clock and large icons.
HTC Home Plugin, unfortunately, only works with WM6 so I can't use it on my Magician (i-mate Jam). Is there any free WM2003 home plugin that is similar in appearance with at least the big clock, and can support custom themes? I tried searching Google and most of what I find is for WM5 or newer or not free.

Survey: Your finger friendly combo

Hello everyone, I'd like to ask you a question. In an attempt to create a new design style (which will not be iPhone-like or any other-like) for xda I would like you to answer me:
What is your finger-friendly combo applications?
For example, my finger-friendly combo is:
PointUI + ContactCM + Spb Time
Of course, it would be great if they are customizable (although I can't think of one that isn't).
Also, any suggestions for an interesting design style would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. xda-developers community is the reason my next PDA will definitely be HTC, so keep up the great work!
My Picks
My Favs are:
- Opera 9.5
- SPB Mobile Shell
- SMS Chat
- Fun Contact
- S2P, S2U2 and yup S2V

Hi!!
I think that if you want some flexibility in customization and also make your design free to use you should use this:
- Today screen: XIAMultitheme, rltoday + UL or why not... ThrottleLauncher
- Player: S2P without any doubts.
- Calendar: Thumbcal
I don't use any other kind of app's but there are a lot there like S2U2 that also can be interesting .
I know this will look like I'm doing some publicity of my app... but remember I'm just another XDA member, why wouldn't I share my opinion...
Hope this helps
iContact definately won over PocketCM. I'm using Throttle Launcher now with a diamond theme, which works pretty well. Obviously S2P for music.

Is opera finger-friendly? I didn't know! Nice!
YEP !! Opera 9.5 is FF...u can scroll the pages just Piscel Browser
My combo:
PointUI 1.51a
S2U2 + S2P + S2V
Iphone dialer (From DxC)
Icontact (Be5) + Diamond theme
ThumbCal
Opera Mini 4.1
TouchPal
Opera mini 4.1 with esmertec jbed is good enough for my web browsing needs. Opera mobile 9.5 just seems to take too much resource that my puny tmobile wing wasn't able to provide.
I also use total commander with large icon for file browsing, but it's not so finger friendly so I still need to use d-pad.
Quick menu is good when used with d-pad and very powerful. It compensates the weakness of pointui IMHO, such as fast task switch, "OK" to close program, handles settings better and easier access to programs menu.
iContact
Opera 9.5
HTC ActionScreen
S2U2
S2P
HTC Cube
HTC Camera Album
ThumbCal
FTouchFlo..if it counts
Mine (slightly biased)
FSD - Mine!
S2U2, S2P and S2V
iContact
ThumbCal
Opera 9.5
Scroll Launcher - Mine again
Some random never to be released apps of my own that have big icons etc.
PointUI is also good, but is a memory hog!
PocketCM 0.24 with the original black skin
Ultimatelauncher becuz its really customizable
TL ofcourse.... one of the best apps i've ever seen
opera 9.5
s2u2,s2v,s2p
touchpal3.5
S2P and S2V
iContact Be5.1 diamond theme
ThumbCal 1.0.4
Netfront 3.5
UltimateLaunch,rlToday,WeatherPanel with diamond theme
and calendar+
HTC Dialer with superflysocal and carlos's diamond theme

How is thumbcal 1.04 compared to 0.51? I found s.l.i hasn't released it yet...
- Today screen: PocketPlus, rlToday, phoneAlarm
- MortButtons
- PocketCM
- PCM keyboard
- ThumbCal
for me
S2U2
UL + Batterystatus
S2P, S2V
PocketCM
ThumbCal
Opera 9.5
SPBPhoneSuite
for me:
UL
S2...all
iContact be5
Thumbcal
Opera Mini 4.1
Resco Exp. 7.03
PocketCM Keyboard 14
For me its a few apps that are not developed on XDA
Winterface 1.01 (Iphone like with unlocker)
Fun Contact 2.15 (The best hands down contact manager)
Sms-Chat 1.1
Eyephoto 1.1
PCMKeyboard Iphone Skin
Manilla Black Dialer V2
S2U2- unlocker turned off, I just like the touch answer keys
S2P- Seriously, is there any better ?
I found the Vito applications to be very low on memory and absolutely brilliant for a touch phone. Just no customization
Edit: after reading the posts I tried out Resco Explorer 2008 and its great! Got the version along with the Registry editor. PERFECT!
I've made a package (originally for the Touch HD) to replace all Windows Mobile application with fingerfriendly ones.
Watch this video:

You can download it there:

Additional application you might like:

Some applications are included only as VGA versions (like iContact).
iContactBE
ThrottleLauncher or HTC Home(or are we too advanced for that now )
Opera 9.5
S2U2, S2P, S2V
Opal Keyboard
ThumbCal
HTC Dialer
For me:
M2D- convenient, stylish, stable, ability to preview (long) or view (short) SMS + it's rock stable.
Thumbcal- good and real thumbfriendly. (hate the black digits for time setting screen; too hard to se in glare of sunlight)
Icontact BE- Nice and friendly.

dang! i'm super jealous! i went to the link on your pics but they never loaded. so i've got to ask how did you do it?
yea can u post links to those cabs thanks for sharing
wow that's outstanding.
I really like how you skinned the touchflo buttons on every tab (music, settings, mail, sms, people, camera and start menu) to be transparent. makes things much nicer showing the BG.
Have you got the manila files in a zip? or a cab for this?
Glad to see you are using my HDWallHero.cab. I've gone off that theme somewhat myself but it still looks pretty good.
Will this work on topaz?

The programs tab isn't skinned, any idea how to get this done?

I'm still trying to find somewhere in this forum (I've been looking in like all the htc winmo device forums) all of those transparent tab function buttons (like call, email send sms in the people tab)
Does anyone know where I can find these?
hi...i'm not very familiar with winmo just yet...
i tried to install the HTCHero wall cab, but the progress bar just stays there and does not progress...am i doing something wrong?
edit: fixed it by removing some programs

Install on phone or SD card?

Hi
What can be installed on SD card and what should be installed to phone?
I think my phone is very slow after installing all the nice things I find here.
Maybe I'm installing too much
Textmessaging for instance, feels like glue sometimes.
Long and many messages makes the phone very slow when scrolling through them. And when answering a long message, it doesn't respond very quick when I type.
Can it be because I have installed everything on the phone?
It should be room enough on the phonememory though.
This is my phone and what's installed on it:
(is there anything on this list that can be installed to the SD card instead? And maybe make the phone quicker.)

PS
Yes, everytime I flash, I do this
- remove SD Card
- remove SIM Card
- Task 29
- Flash Rom
- Hard Reset
- insert SIM Card
- Soft Reset at first Manila screen
- Insert SD Card
And I also format the SD card everytime
i have not installed any progs on my phone at all, everything i have is installed on the storage card. my reasoning was to not clutter the phone at all so that i did not inhibit its performance. seems to be working so far.
Mike
Storage card
I also download to storage card, unless app says to install to device. Have you tried deleting your old messages, & also delete them out of deleted file.
I have a few apps installed on the storage card; namely opera 10 and Route 66. If I connect the HD2 to a computer as a Disk Drive after disconnection all the links to the abovementioned apps seem to be broken and the only way to get them working again is a soft reset. Unfortunatley both the abovementioned apps must really be installed to the storage card - route 66 because of the size of it (maps etc) and Opera 10 becasue it craps up the camera app if instlaled to device memory. Has anyone else seen this problem or have a fix for it?
I used to have the "opened opera 10 prevents from starting other apps (namely, freeware galarm)" problem with previous WM 6.5 rom , yet I don't see it anymore on this 6.5.5 rom.
Also, I do not see how installing it on SD instead of internal memory will change anything at all regarding that problem.
Anyway, @OP, generally you should always install to internal memory as long as there is enough space to do that, internal memory is faster than SD. And what drains the battery is not the idle data on the internal memory (be it applications, audio, video or whatever) but the background processes that keep the cpu busy.

Why do people still think this way?
Installing to phone is the best way to maintain performance!
The storage memory was specificaly allocated by the manufacturer for this and not using it just leaves it sitting there ..... well, unused!
Install as much as you can to the phone. This also aids stability.
