P3600i VOIP & the external loudspeaker - P3600 General

I own a P3600i. I want to use VOIP via the phone, using the regular speaker & microphone.
All the VOIP programs I have installed route the incomming callers voice through the loudspeaker.
I have tried re-installing the WM6 VOIP.cab, Fring & SJphone - none work through the regular speaker. I tried each of these applications on the original WM6 ROM & several cooked WM6.1 ROM's.
Can anyone help!? I read somewhere that the regular earpeace speaker is hard-wired in to the GSM component of the phone which means it will only work for regular voice calls, is this true?

You can try AGEPhone mobile...

I searched that thread for 'P3600i' however found no results. Can anyone confirm this software works on the P3600i (not the P3600)?

i sucsessfully installed voip on my orbit 2. works well exept caller can be heard over external speaker resulting an annoying echo for the caller.
is there a hack to switch it to internal speaker (earphone speaker)? like a normal call...?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299950&highlight=today+item+connection
I just try skype and there is an option and a test to remove the echo. It works great.

Voip Speakerphone Woes

I'm sorry if I missed out any thread that is related to this problem, but I did try searching and couldn't find any that was dedicated to this problem.
I've tried many different voip software for my samsung i780 (running wm6.1) and each and every single from from fring to xten routes audio output through the speakerphone. Because of this, it becomes unusable in most circumstances. Is there any voip software out there that routes audio through the normal earpiece, or is there a hack to get around this problem?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading, have a good one.
In my HTC TYTN II (KAISER) running WM6.1 the seaker problem in VOIP calls was solved after I install a software called TiVi. I only instal it, do not configure anything in this software and not use that to make calls. When I open the TiVi and minimize it, all calls by VoIP are in the normal phone speaker. The only problem is the volume very low.
Note: Is need to configure the VoIP before install the TiVi, using voipwm6.cab and Setup Voip for example.
Sorry for my bad english.
Bests,
Rodrigo.

Fring, SJphone or any SIP client on TP2

Was anyone successful with using fring, SJphone or any other SIP client on TP2?
Thanks.
AGEphone , nimbuzz, portsip, fring worked for me. I heard voice ok, but other side always say they can't hear me. This is with gizmo5.
Hi Pivazia,
Google for X-Lite. This is free app I have tested on TP2 in combination with my company TrixBOX server and worked O.K.
Only that I did not manage is to drive sound through earpiece (the sound goes through speakerphone).
Sorry about my English.
Regards,
Nino.
I've used SJ, x-lite, and the internal VOIP on WM6. SJ is bar far my fav. All work alright, but I have volume issues with the internal voip - too quiet. Using an external earpiece is easiest with all apps, but you can use Audioroute to force the audio to the internal earpiece. All wm voip apps will route to either the speakerphone or the external earpiece by default unless you use audioroute.
Also, download Don't Sleep Wifi so that you can use voip on wifi easily without the phone going to sleep (and killing your call!)
Here is the link for SJPhone: http://www.sjphone.org/preview/SJphone-1.60-WindowsCE(preview)/
Which version did you try?
So far I used fring, call quality is ok but the sound comes out of the rear speaker...maybe I should try plugging in the headphone and test...
for me is the same problem, cant make without the speaker. will try now the audioroute. so far fring works good on wifi and 3g with like 2 sec delay

Hi Chopsxxx,
Speakerphone, as you say, is easier to use but sometimes need a little privacy. At least one side privacy.
Thanks for the tips about AudioRoute and Don't sleep. I will try!
Regards,
Nino.
Has anyone setup the internal voip on wm6.5 yet? If so what did you use and how?
I've been searching for Internet calling function in WM6.5 on the TP2 but nothing found yet. Has anyone got that working in WM6.5?
Fring works for me
I have Fring set up with my SipGate credentials. I use iDialer to originate calls through Google Voice.
I don't use this setup often, but it works fine when I do. For more information on my Winmo/Google Voice setup, see the links in my signature line.
use PortGo softphone, it is better than SJphone and the sound is coming from earpiece
portgo is not tat clear, i feel fring is much better with ear piece, i have tried nimbuzz too work ok but drawback is sound come thru speaker

SIP client - voice is cut

Hello,
I'm trying to use PortSip as a SIP client as mentionned in other posts (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508715).
www.portsip.com
Tried both on wifi and 3G:
- I can hear the voice of the contact I called pretty well
- But my voice is not understood by the other side: it's all cut (as if the line was really busy and got loads of delay / lag)
I also tried different wifi, some of them were quiet fast...
I even tried to call on the same wifi network with a SIP client on my laptop, and this call was perfect.
So, I guess the problem comes from my HTC HD2 (leo)...
Does anybody encounter this kind of problems?
What should I try?
Thanks.
I finally installed the WM VoIP cab. Everything's working fine now, except that the sound comes out the external speaker.
So, I installed AudioRoute, and the sound now comes from the "ear" speaker... but the volume is really low.
Any idea on how to boost it?

VOIP / SIP - Anybody with experience with this? No sound on my device

Has anybody had any experiences with SIP/VOIP program on the Nike? I've installed PortGo/Fring/Nimbuzz and I can connect to our 3CX VOIP server, I can make calls, but there is no sound. On any program. I am using a cooked 6.5 ROM.

Hi Rico, can you tell me a bit more about your rom and radio.
Greetz,
You should turn up the sound, but the sound will come out from the loudspeaker, not the receiver. The better way is to connect an earphone with mic.
