the buttons of my hardware keyboard are totally different now-- it is a qwerty
but perhaps u know that in german there is a qwertz keyboad--how can i change the keyboard to qwertz ???

instal registry wizard and search the keyboard lenguage and select german or duch enjoy it

But asuming u can change the language(wich will not be a big problem in the few coming days),u will have the keyboard problem... ...as we know,german devices have qwertz keyboards not qwerty ones... :wink:

I have a fantastic O2 EXEC and I have istalled a JasJar Italian rom. At now all ok but I have some problem with some symbols: for example the slash / in original rom (and in my keyboard) is FN + o but in Italian jasjar rom is FN + 7. This is only 1 of many different position of symbols. Can you help me??

I assume you have the english qwerty style keyboard. Try this: you need a registry editor - HKey_Local_Machine\Software\OEM\Qwerty\ put in 66569 instead of whatever is there.
If this doesn't work for you then someone will have the number you need. I know the German qwertz kbd is 66567.

Then I change the Registry for QWERTY Keyboard Layout
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\QWERTY=20404 (Traditional Chinese
Settings)
All the Letter, Numeric and Symbol Keys are now normally & perfectly working except for the TAB Key.
By the way my Sliding Keyboard is
QWERTY Key Setup
Symbols starts with [email protected]/#1

I have the same problem. I'm using the latest TNT ROM. It worked on the last TNT ROM for me. I tried Schap's config. tool, but no change. It didn't work on my original English ROM either (Singapore Dopod 838PRO ROM) ANy one have any other ideas?

I have a BA with the Helmi WM6 and a german BT-Keyboard.
The Problem is, that the BA has the English layout so I cant use is really.

Hi, same with me. Have German QWERZU hardware but installed the Belgian Dutch/French language version, which turned the keyboard into AZERTY layout. Now the AZERTY keyboard software does not match the QWERZU hardware. Would anyone know how to install the German keyboard layout? Thanks so much.
