Activate SPrint HTC MOGUL 6800 - Mogul, XV6800 General

Ok. Hi ya'll. My boyfriend and I have an account together but I'm always going on to are account he blocked me from me there. Well yesterday the genius that I am tried to reset my phone so here I am pressing ##786#, not knowing that it was going to delete everything like my number. So I call Sprint today and they wont let me get into the account what I wanna know is if any of ya'll know that ## number so I could activate it. I know my msid already I just need that dam ## number....so please Help!:

I believe that you want ##778#, but to do any editing, you need your MSL. There is a program called GetSPC that uses your HEX-based ESN to calculate your MSL unlock code.
You can find your HEX ESN behind your battery. Make sure you use proper capitalization when using GetSPC.

the only problem is you can get all of those numbers but without a sprint rep pressing those magic buttons on their end your phone will just say that your account can not be validated if he blocked you off the account and wont give you access to it you cant activate the phone. if you both are on same account just have him do it. without his or sprints help you might as well go outside and find a rock and try to make phone calls with that because thats what your phone will be. sorry if im coming off harsh but its true lol. good luck.

On the mogul you can get your MSL simply...
I will have to look up the codes for it, but the just of it is.
## something for diag mode ##
restart phone let it run for like 4 minutes, then disable diag mode, and it creates a text file which contains the MSL
I found it on xda somewhere, will do some research

##778# and ##3282# will direct you to two different menus.

On my phone Sprint Galaxy S 3 the ##3282# got me to the menu to select edit but the code "195304" doesn't work. After an "incorrect code" message the phone reboots.
This is the farthest I've gotten so far. I bought the phone off of eBay so I don't think I can call Sprint since I don't have an account with them.
How can I find out what the second number is for my phone??
found code for my s4 mini

I have a sprint s4 mini and my code was 222222. You can Try that. If that don't work call sprint and ask for the six digit unlock code. I herd they don't like you asking for the MSL unlock code for some reason. If that don't work I've seen that you can down load (unlockmymsl) app from play store. Then try inputting 222222 once. And you will get incorrect code message. Hit your home key then go to the app and it should give you the code. Some Phone's need to be rooted but mine worked by just interning 222222 in the edit dialog.
The MSL/SPC code is not the same for every phone.
First I would try giving sprint a call and asking for It. Just be polite and clear about what you want. If it doesn't seem to be panning out, I wouldn't bother making too big a fuss and wasting time on it. I would just hang up and call right back to get another rep and try again.
Unfortunately my knowledge is based in Samsung devices, so I cannot say much for HTC. I do know that you could retrieve the MSL/SPC by using adb shell or similar to
Code:
su
getprop.RIL
after attempting to input an incorrect code (any 6 numbers will work). If you enter the wrong code twice, the phone will reboot (nothing more than an annoying security feature). On Samsung devices, recent firmware has broken this method, and flashing an older stock modem/rom was required to get it to work. Samsung Knox further complicated this by breaking compatibility with older modems, and causing a downgrade attempt to brick the device... At least you aren't in dealing with that mess. I have no idea about HTC phones, though.

New Sprint TV ROM. Error at Start up

I installed the Sprint TV cab that comes with the new ROM but every time I start the application I get this message.
Unable to get billing system indicator for the MDN(12)
MDN : ##########
CID : AFB52 - 73E8C- 16332
I noticed that the value of MDN is supposed to be my phone number but it's wrong. One of the numbers does not match with my phone number and I'm pretty sure that's what the problem is but I don't know how to change my device's phone number
Does anyone know how to change the phone number on Windows Mobile???
I'm sure the information is on this forum somewhere, but I'd say just give sprint a call. I can't rem. the exact steps so I won't tell you them as I don't want you wrecking your phone due to my poor memory...
I do know when I ported my number after getting my Mogul on Tuesday I was walked through some steps punching in various codes and the like and I was able to edit the phone number and something else on my phone.

I have the same problem with my Touch Pro. How do we change the MDN without going through Sprint CS? I have had enough of their crappy CS so I would rather get the info through the helpful mates on this forum.
dial ##778# send
then enter your MSL code, select edit, then select VIEW softkey, select NAM settings, there you'll find MDN, tap and hold with stylus and edit.
Hope this helps.
Oops, I just realized how old this was. Sorry, as it's probably already been resolved for the OP long ago.

EPST help

Ok. So my HTC Mogul is kinda broke and only works in some ways. So my brother gave me his old one. And he told me to write down all the EPST numbers from my phone. So i did that..
Then when i goto the new phone. and goto edit. it asks for an unlock code..
i use GetSPC to figure it out.
Okay im in.
Now it only lets me edit the MSID number.. Not the ESN and the other like 15 that i wrote down..
So i say okay. ill try the ##data# one, and see what i can edit in that one..
It lets me change teh active profiles and the username and the SPIs..
but doesnt let me change the Home agent numbers..
Any help please.. I really want to use this phone today cause mine is falling apart slowly..
There is no way to change an ESN. The ESN is like the mac address of the phone. The ESN of the new phone is going to have to be registered w/ the phone company. as far as the other 15 numbers i have no idea.
I'm sorry, there is no legal and easy way to change (clone) your ESN. And I do not endorse that in any way. Call up your provider and give them your ESN and have it activated on your line. The MSID should be the only thinkg you change as long as both phones were on the same provider/network.
You must read at:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=TitanGpsFix
There you will find the drivers and tools to get into the Service Programming Mode... From that mode you will be able to change anything you want...
I suggest to make a backup file from your phone at QPST. Then restore the backup file overwritting your brother's phone configuration (Load from file and Write to Phone).
It will bring back to life your configurations on your brother's phone...
Obviously, you should take your brother's phone to your service provider in order to update the new ESN now associated with your old line to get your phone totally working.
Hope this helps. I beg your pardon for my poor english, spanish is my natural.

Lock code? I bought from Radio Shack from an entire staff of idiots, they screwed up

when they activated and set the number as the wrong number. Any one know the lock code so i can reset it. Thanks in advance
I believe u need MSL code..
it's different for every phone, so contact Sprint and ask them POLITELY for it, cuz they might not give it to u
but since u need to contact em might as well ask them to solve your problem..
if they don't give it to you. call and tell them you have error code 67. they will tell you dial ##3282# (##data#) and then they will give you the password, which is the MSL code.

I have called sprint (*2) and gone to my sprint store many many times to get an MSL; I have never had a problem. Sprint rep sometimes says he isn't supposed to give it out, but that's while hes writing it down for me.

Android EPST Commit Failed when trying to set msid and mdn

I've recently switched cellular service carriers and needed to activate my phone with the new carrier's info. To follow their activation process I needed to be on a stock ROM (wouldn't work on cyanogenmod). I have an Sprint HTC One and there are a bunch of RUU's out there for it, so I went with one of those.
My phone boots and I can run things just fine. I can even jump on WIFI and install things like normal. But there doesn't appear to be any network for the phone. I talked to a rep from the carrier a she gave me a way to view and modify the mdn and msid (# # <msl> #), which appear to be blank (they display as 'No' in the EPST app.
When I enter my mdn and msid and then select 'Commit Modifications' from the menu it pops up a toast that says 'Commit Failed'. I've captured logs using logcat and there doesn't appear to be any glaring errors. The last thing that seems to happen is `I/DataObject( 4106): write command to radio:NORMAL_OFFLINE_MODE`. I haven't had much luck figuring out why this is failing, or why it seems like nothing in the logcat seems to indicate that it's trying to write anything. I'll be decompiling EPST to try to track it down, but if anyone has any insight as to what might be wrong I would appreciate it.
