between 2 and 3, are there differences outside of the theme versions?

Ano ba difference between the 2 and 3 versions? i'm using the ROM from PDAViet 6.1 5.2.19199 DVH

i tried the vista cube for BA n presto the cube emerged from the bottom.
pero pare can u tell me how to edit the images like the backgrounds and the icon format kasi i want to personalize it!

i have. and i'm going back to the previous 6.1 rom.
why? because of zoomsms. all the apps i use get to slow down to a crawl (ang bagal!). todayagenda does not work well because of this, also PHMregistry editor and pbar.
is there a way to disable zoomsms?

Well, im stickin' with PDAViet 6.1 ROM, but i'll download it anyway. i'll give it a shot when things go wrong with my BA anyway it was a ggood effort to make these ROM's. they could have been better.

I love the Vista ROM. It works perfectly.

Differences

The last one is Vista with touchflo and cube. I use it on my BA without problem. Zoomsms is not in this rom

Which languages in this version? I'm looking for a version of WM6 with italian languages...

Nice ROM. I'm running the first one with the blue Vista Backround. The touch flo cube works great too. So far no problems. It does drain the batter plenty quick.

Stable ROM
I have this ROM for time now, amazingly stable. Did not reset my BA for some time.
Bit drain on battery but I am having big battery, so no problem. cheers

I've asked this question in a bunch of forums with not good answer. Is there a registry setting which will allow WMP to play even when the device is turned off?

Hi there,
i am interested in wm6.5 and i want to know: is wm6.5 working on diamond.
and can any diamond user update from 6.1 to 6.5.
how doas it works and have ever tried it some one.

you can find the rom for WM6.5,someone has updated it from WM6.1 to WM6.5.iF you want to try it ,you can download it from the forum.

I have tried 2 but my Diamond hangs on the splash screen everytimt. Any suggestion for the best 6.5 ROM for Diamond 1 in the forums?

02 atom clean 6.1 rom not cooked

where can i get a clean 6.1 rom without ant addons without touchflo, java machine etc just a clean and stable 6.1 rom pls?

For O2 XDA Atom Black (Original 1st Atom Series) you can try WM6.1 R2 Clean By Helloworld1 Build 20755. And don't forget to install EXTROM (Should be installed if you want Atom's ROM working properly) too.
Tested on my O2 XDA Atom properly and it's working without any problems at all! I think it's the best WM6.1 Clean ROM than the others WM6.1 ROM.

another thing i'm using opera mini in browsing the net is this unit only stand for approx 3 hours? are there any o2 atom user can atest to that battery life of my atom or is it my batt i'm using pdaviet sonblack winmo 6.1. .

WM 6.1 Rom without Software

I'm searching for a rom for my xda orbit .. My current rom ist from O2 with WM6 .. But i like the view of the SMS and MMS in WM6.1
So i search a rom where only WM6.1 is included withoud any software like cube, htc home or something else.
Is theire a existing rom?

hey palood, i dont know if there are still wm 6.1 rom's online, but if u check the rom section on the artemis forum then u will see a few "lite" versions of WM 6.5 which are probably suitable for you.
these versions dont have manila,touchflo, cubes or any other graphical enhancements

Thanks for the tip to use WM6.5. The reason of my question about WM6.1 is that I heard a lot about WM6.5 that it is very slowly on the orbit. So I tested MossisV3 Rom. Many people wrote that this rom is very fast. But on my orbit it is very slowly. When I touch the display the xda need about 1-2 seconds to react.
WM6.1 was really fast.
I will test your tip of a clean WM6.5 Rom and hope that it is faster then the other rom.
Do you know a 6.1 Version?

wm 6.5 isnt slow. maybe that rom u tested was a crappy rom, i dont know. but there are a lot of fast roms in 6.5
if u really want a 6.1 rom, u should search forums if there are still 6.1 roms hosted.

Windows Mobile Modded Rom 6.1 to 6.5

Hi Experts,
I am planing to purchase one windows mobile company called Digibee its from Bangalore-India. It has WM 6.1 version preinstalled in it.
Earlier I have HTC Excalibure to which I have flashed n mumbers of time to WM 6.5.
Now my query is, can v flash any WM 6.1 to WM 6.5.
Pl. advice.

I think you can, but first search for a 6.5 or 6.5.x rom suitable for your phone. I have a Samsung Omnia i900 which comes with WM 6.1 Pro, now I have cooked (custom) WM 6.5.3 Pro flashed on it and it's working even much better and faster than the preinstalled WM 6.1 Pro. much more memory too.
Just use the Search field for what you need
But the best thing to do is to ask the phones company is it can be upgraded, byt be ware that flashing with custom rom will erase your warranty, but I think you already know all these things cuz like you said, you've already did flashing new rom

I also have Samsung Omnia I900. I tried searching thread that could help me on how to upgrade it frm WM 6.1 to WM 6.5 but unfortunately I couldn't find thread that has detailed instruction. Could you help me? Please. Thanks!

Karan it is very good that u know coocking rom. I also have purchased this wm 6.1 DIGIBEE phone. I also trying to update it to 6.5 but .nb0 rom it is not working. I was using the GYGABYTE i120 gsmart phone & i updated it to 6.5 from 6.1 it was also working very fine. The same ROm i tried for DIGIBEE but it didnt find any ROM on SD CARD
Bythe way somebody tell us how to coock won rom. procudure???

Hello Thilak,
Yes of-course you can go for it, you'll never get a windows mobile with good specs at this low price . Its performance was almost same as my previous HTC Fuze (Touch Pro), and it was running under Windows Mobile 6.1.I was searching for its stock ROM so that i can start experiment on it with other ROMs.

And many of the driver files in our digibee matches with Samsung i900 Omnia (Such as, board, processor (Marvell PXA31x), display, battery etc), and if I find digibee stock ROM then ill experiment with i900 ROMs.

Disappointed performance
I am very much disappointed with this device. I cannot load most of the apps found on the net. Installation is a problem and where installation is not a problem the battery heats up like an iron box and drains fast. I wouldnt recommend this for any one.
Under these conditions I dont think any modification like upgrading to WM6.5 will be possible.
