hello
i want to ask about shift i gonna buy one
but 1/am architecture and i have some prog that i need in college
like autocad , photoshop and 3dmax in generally artist prog
so does it work good in shift like my laptop or its device
for internet only
2/ can i draw on it like hptx2000 like what i see in this video
http://youtube.com/watch?v=PZwTI7h2zPE&feature=related
please i want answer before my exam begin
and sorry for bad english .
I'm an Architect and would not want to use Photoshop or CAD on the shift unless I had nothing else to work on. The shift does not have enough power to run these applications, not to mention that the screen is far too small to accomodate all the toolbars.
thanx for reply
by the way i buy one and its run autocad and photoshop greatly
but the proplem that the photoshop have proplem with touch
screen (does any have solve this proplem ?) so if you use mouse
it would be great
any way i love the shift performance its like laptop

Is there any software that provides a virtual mouse using the touchscreen of the magician??
MocciJ
Yep fake cursor will do this - see my post half way down the page here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=26664
It isn't really what I want.. I intended a software that through usb connection can provide a tablet mouse function for desktop pc.. But I have found the program: pocket tablet thanks anyway..
MocciJ
do you mean like the bluetooth nokia mouse someone created ?

Hello,
Last night I had an idea .. and maybe it's interesting to share it but ... maybe software like that already exist ?!
I had the idea of an interface on a ppc to command a Powerpoint presentation. It's must be touch friendly (I've the HTC touch ).
What does that mean ?
1) The PPC will control over BT some emulation like Left arrow or Right arrow and other "shortcuts"
2) The PPC will have an interface with huge buttons to change slides
3) The PPC will have a clock timer or a timeup counter
4) The PPC will vibrate after times that users can define (like each 5 minutes)
The only thing missing for me is a laser
Maybe it already exists ... I Don't know but I think it could be good now that PPC like Touch are small !
(My ideas comes from a telecommande from Logitech and from the ability for SE phone to pilot a computer).
What do you think about it ?
Take a look at Salling Clicker 3.5. It can do most of what your are dreaming of
The vibrate after after some timeout doesn't exist yet in Salling Clicker, but you can request it on their forum. The scripting used in Salling Clicker is very easy, so you can change things and create new things as you like.
Besides controlling PowerPoint, it can also be used for MediaPlayer and iTunes etc + some special functions for incoming calls or locking/unlocking when you are away/near your computer.
It can be used over Bluetooth or over Wifi.
Thank you VOODOOS!L's ! The program that you suggest is ... how can I say it ... perfect !
It was what i was looking for ... it's awesome
I'll use it for my next presentation ... I'm pretty sure that my teacher will say that I'm cheating héhé !
Hi,
Is there an app that can enable use of the touchscreen on WM phones to draw on a PC? I can draw better on the phone with the stylus than using the crap laptop touchpad and wanted to know if you can use the touchscreen as the mouse.
I already use Gremote, but that can be difficult to draw with and need a way to be able to draw diagrams on the go for my college work :s
Thanks in advance for any help!
Maybe you could use something like this, there are a few different softwares like this but I noticed this one earlier today. http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-remote-touch.html
Thanks for the quick reply its just what I was looking for

Hi,
1 - Android may well come to this phone, but we will have to wait for an andriod based snapdragon version first. There are posts for this already.
2 and 3 - There is already loads of emulator software for win mobile. try searching on google ! there is even a post here for the new playstaion emulator (which is fantastic by the way). i think people have already managed to get a bluetooth gamepad controller working with HD2 (use search again)
4 - I know there are some hardcore modders out there that will cut up phone and try to put extra buttons in... but i can't really see someone here hacking ther £500 phone just yet....... (not even sure you could add another button)
Hope this help !
remember google is your friend to find anything and use the forum search !
Hi, i have a HTC Shift x9500 with a liberated snapvue (original danish ROM)
I was wondering if there is a way to install and run a single game in full-screen? (like Palm-heroes or Age of Empires)
I know they need to start in portrait mode, and i have tried to set the display in portrait mode with "kaisoft screen rotator", but when i start a game, its just white screen..
Is there any way, to make it work - the best would be if i DONT need to flash a new ROM (because some bad experiences)

BUMP
No one, have a solution?
Video drivers are not complet. They lack a lot of routines to make games work. Even when they work, they are slow and input doesn't work properly.
Game that work: resco defender
Thats not good news
Well.. Snapvue is smart - but could be better
