I did buy a HTC CRUISE from Taiwan, and it is in Tradional Chinese language!
but i want to let my phone can read Thai Language!
i did install Thai Win CE at my phone, but it could not work, even if my Chinese can't read eigher.
Does it any way to let my phone can read and type Thai?

Yes. Go to www.pdamobiz.com and look 4 pdamobizThaienabled to read thai and if u want to type thai too install resco multilanguage keyboard..

or you could flash mobiz 990F ROM that comes with thai language.

AFTER I INSTALL pdamobizThaienabled, I CAN READ THAI LEAW!
BUT IF I GO TO SMS(PREVIEW ONE), I CAN SEE THAI LANGUAGE, BUT AFTER ENTER THE SMS I WANT TO READ, IT IS NOTHING INSIDE.
SO WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

You should flash a new rom from PDAMobiz cooked with Thai enable

For the Greek part ,the best you can do "at the moment" is use Paragon language extender which is reported to be working quite well,as for the Crossbow part ............
There are also localization programs: paragon has one and www.sunnysoft.com has one. You can also find greek keyboards: www.resco-net.com
Another option is to change your rom to the Greek rom if you can find it.

From past experience I'd be very cautious of using a Greek Rom from ACE HELLAS even if you can download it from their site as they tend to lock them to the IMEIS of the devices sold in Greece.
Υes ..... that's right... I have tried to put a rom from ACE and i couldn't because it was locked...
agreed on ace hellas...if I had not upgraded to pda mobile dopod I could have offered you a switch since I bought my device in Greece (not sure I can revert to original greek rom).

I don't know about the Greek site, but Qtek's Dutch site (www.qtek.nl) has a similar option. To get access to the Rom you need a valid IMEI number. In other words, if you don't have a Qtek, you cannot download this Rom.
I noticed that the attachment in the Greek forum is not a rom update but essentially an update in the Greek interface. It would be great if we had an update to wm6.

There is no greek rom. It 's only a cab to change the inteface into Greek.

Since the language is cooked into your rom and cannot be changed, the only way is to flash your device and load a swedish rom.

You've to install hardSPL by connetting PDA to PC via USB and launching RomUpdateUtility.exe you find it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351964

In the same way you will install the ROM, one English good ROM is the WWE version of Bepe 0.65 that you can find here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=378080

You can change the Manila language with the Registry Editor /HKEY CURRENT USER/MUI/CurLang/Hexadecimal: 40E/ However in some cooked ROMs it will not work. I'm using NRGZ28's latest ROM, try it, it's worth Jó munkát !!!

It's work with Dutty's v3.3 too. Do a soft reset after the Manila is Hungarian ( Englis is better... ).
If you use an official ROM i can send a Hungarian language CAB file ( Manila+WM 6.1=Full Hungarian by Sunnysoft team )

Visit this page and read back. Csuka100 is cooking a rom which is hungarian too.
But actually that is a good softwer to convert the language to your own much better thn the thingy what i've tried with my xda orbit. At least i can choose now! in a bit

I think there should be another variant with something like "RUU_Leo_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.48.832.X_Radio_Signed_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" which comes with traditional chinese input support for Hong KOng people......

This is not what I want. there are two versions of ROM in HK. One is HK CHT (hong kong traditional chinese UI & IME), another is HK WWE (english UI & traditional chiense IME)...
I beleive it could be something look like "Leo_HKCSL_WWE_1.48.832.1_Radio_Singed.... " ?

argggggggg... too many version... I still not sure what version represent what features... however, if you want to flash to different ROM for now, because we do not have Hacking SPL, you have to get a gold card or use the way of working on "how to flash cooked OS" introduced by bepe.
I want your ROM, do you have image or ROM file ?

The SSPL seems to work fine, I am just waiting for the Asian 1.61 rom.

you can use the 707 wwe rom from singapore, it comes with english UI and integrated with simplified chinese input methods.

it does support traditional chinese.. but u might have to manual overwrite some file to "force" translate all words into traditional

yes i know because i have flashed WWE.707 before, however, it doesn't have "Chinese (Hong Kong)" regional settings. Do you know which files matter the regional settings information ?
Also, is there existing extraction of HTC chinese keyboard ? so that we, chinese, still can enjoy english cooked ROM with the HTC chinese keyboard.

this is the little cab I made when I use the WWE 707 rom..
it should provide more regional.. include HK/TW....
and as well force the stoke to support traditional chinese...
this worked for me... and you might wanna try it..
and as far as for the HD2 chinese IME ..
I think there's a cab in www.mobile01.com (somewhere)
but it seems to looks like it sometimes not work for some ROM..so... I dunno XD
but it did gave me a better idea about what files that the IME involved.. ^^

I got an HD2 from eBay seller in Hong Kong. The phone arrived and everything was in English on first start just like I hoped.
However, there is still the Chinese keyboard on the device (Pin Yin or something).
Can someone tell me how to remove the Chinese keyboard?

yes, everything is in English. just we can type in Chinese as well..
Yeah I can type in both English and Chinese, but I'd rather just remove the Chinese part to make it easier when switching keyboards.
The ROM that came installed is already WWE, everything is in English except that I can also type in Chinese on the keyboard.

I checked my ROM is 1.48.707 WWE, but it includes Chinese keyboard as well.
Any way to just remove Chinese keyboard?
And any way to add Farsi font to read SMSs in farsi? now Farsi characters in HTC messaging are just shown as blocks!

It takes up a small block on the keyboard where it shows Chinese characters option even when typing in English.

Yes it would be great if I can use with HK ROM without those stupid input methods. when you have too many input methods, some are pushed to the cascase menu "other input methods". However, they (Pinyin etc) does not appear as separate entities to things like SKTools, so I have no idea how to disable them.
