Wifi can not start up on P4350

After reflashed wm6 rom, my P4350 can not start up wifi function, who can help me?

It's not turning on from the CommManager or not at all, even through the wifi settings? If you flashed a custom ROM, it may have a bug, like my CleanROM and blackpad Beta 2's have, with the comm manager.

My CleanBeta 2 HAS that bug. You'll have to grab a reg editor to fix it. Sorry I wasn't very clear in the first post.
The keys you need to fix are in:
HKLM/software/htc/commmanager/
and delete the WLAN key
It will be fixed in the final release of my ROM. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

wifi problem solved / Alpha Test PL MUI WM6 Pro CE OS 5.2.1948 (Build 18548.0.7.0)

i can confirm: wifi reconnect after standby works with this ROM!
But it's polish.
Can someone please extract that wifi driver ? and bringt it to a english ROM ? or a .CAB ?

i have still 2 problems:
- most times i try to start with comm manager - i have to "turn on WLAN" first
- when both is on it doesn't find my WLAN on the 1st time - i have to turn it off with comm Manager - turn it on again - then it works.
how can we make sure we have that driver from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363977 ?

Now I have no time to prepare english version of ROM, maybe in weekend if you want I try make test cab with patch for you( but for WM6 - for me WM6.1 ROMS on BA are simple fakes - all which I analized ( 2 versions) have old WM6 core, only SYS part are taken from WM6.1).

Simply because theses fixes are dedicated to WM6 ROM and not WM6.1
If you want theses fixes installed on your device, you'll have to flash back the device to an original HTC Polaris ROM

could this be a sign that they won't be upgrading the cruise to WM6.1?
since they haven't made the hotfixes compatible with it

To fix this, change your AKU to 0.4.5 (might work with other values higher than 0.4.5..haven't tested this though). I had changed my AKU trying to get the blackberry connect software to run, and I got this problem when trying to update. Changing the AKU back to the stock rom value fixed the issue.

Well, its worked. Thax.
And fixes worked. My Jabra JX10 normal worked.

Installing works. But does it really solve the BT problems, especially on cooked ROMs? Just dropped a call this morning. Will check a2dp during the break

sorry for my ignorance, but when I try to open the udK Diamond R2 - WWE (Build 19588.1.1.4) (BT Fix) it ask for a password for the zip file. any idea?

You misstake thread. And pass for zip you can find at thread about udk Diamond.

No, not yet. I can connect to the blackberry APN (for AT&T/Cingular), but I could never get it to talk to blackberry servers. I think that the BBC software is sending some kind of ID string about what kind of device it's running on and the blackberry servers aren't accepting it. I've tried to find the string I think it's sending in the registry, but I can't find it there. It might be in the ROM somewhere that I can get to in order to change it easily. ROM cookers might be able to get it to work by making a ROM report itself as a Tilt/Kaiser.
I'm going to keep poking at it, and I'll post if I do get it working though.

Ipaq 600 call waiting fix for fw0.88!!

i will start by saying i didn’t have the call waiting problem
but I did upgrade to 0.89 radio (test, have a look/see) and when doing so checked the hp callwaiting fix
4 me i found radio 0.89 not as good as the fw0.88 (bad on battery,wifi on/off time,gps, working with igo8.. )
anyway before returning to 0.88 I have modified the callwaiting fix to work on the 0.88 radio
I confirmed it was working on 2 devices of a friends that did had that problem
the only issue is that there is a mute on the first ring then every thing is o.k.

the 600 has different ID num (location of purchase...) and I wanted 2 know if it works on all 600 series (like hp SIM patch that fit only specified models)

Hi,
I did extract the cab from the HP local pach for SIM problems.
would you know how to make it "universal" for 600 series ?
I suppose I should extract a DLL inside the cab, modifie it then recompil the cab but it is above what I am able to do.

Mine is FA992AT#ABB
ABB is my contry ID, I gess ABF is for France.
If I could change my country ID by editing the registry, it could be the simplest way but I did a search with the word "ABB" in my registry editor and found nothing.

For me it didn't work. It was installed fine, rebooted, but the problem is still there (the conversation is muted all the time when the second person rings).
So I disabled the call waiting feature and there is no problem at all now.
The second person who wants to talk with me will get a "number is busy" message and will have to call back later.
That's the best solution for me.

did you install to device memory ?
do you have wm6 or 6.1? (4 now i know it works on hp wm6 only )
if you use hp wm6 ... then what is your product id?

I have installed the call waitting fix from your first post. When the install wizard asked me I chosed main memory (not Ipaq files or storage card). Then I restarted the device.

i think this is the problem ,i didn't try to fit it to the 6.1 (havent installed it...) only the hp orig rom

after a week, I can tell that this fixe is not harmfull for non designed country ID products.
I havn't had any unwanted softresets in a week so I can tell that this fix is working for MY problem.
I am not a heavy user of connection tools like wifi, bluetooth, GPRS, 3G and so one so I cannot tell if this fix is harmfull to connection tools.
the only thing I know is I can phone as normal, and I tried to connect to wifi and download weather data and it works.
As It is not harmfull for me I think I can give it for public download on this site.
It worked for me but it doesnt mean it may work for you so please backup your data before to try it.

bluetooth problems in wm6/wm6.5

i have the herm100 device using wm5
i update my rom to wm6 and 6.5 and still have a big problem getting files from other devices by bluetooth connection
i can sent files but cant get them from other - i get an error from other device tat i dont have a ftp or opp service active
everything worked hust fine on my mobile 5
please help
if i want to go back to wm5 the original how can i do it ?

Enable Beam and Bluetooth (+make your device visible) then try to send. That's how I solved the problem.

Try to check this:
Enable receiving of files over BlueTooth/IrDA:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled = 1 (DWORD decimal)
If you want to prevent receiving files over BlueTooth or IrDA, you can set the following value:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled = 0 (DWORD decimal)

May i know who's the chef who cooked your rom, maybe you can give a feedback to him..
And also you can choose another version of ROM. AFAIK, the 6.5 is not yet as stable as WM6/6.1.
BTW, i'm currently using Schap's 4.31. And so far, i haven't encounter any problems yet.
