Hello all,
I feel I may be out of luck but is there anyway to fix my PH10B if it dies during a ROM update. I was trying to go to a WM2003 ROM when it errored. Now when I turn the phone on I get a screen that reads "Serial" "v 1.02" and that is it.

its not a brick..do a hard reset by pressing the power ky + DPAD+Reset key..and after a little while release the stylus..and then both the key..the screen should read Serial..plug in ur USB cable and run the Update Utility again

Stuck in Bootloader

Hello,
i tried to update my BA with wm6.
after flashing it stuck in bootloader(blue,green,red,white display) with the line "R 1.10.00" and nothing more...
even hard or softreset do nothing.
what can i do?

ok i even try the Stuck at startup method.

it always stuck in blue,green,red,white screen after run multiport tool. what can i do?

i have this problem because of this flashing method:
i entered the grey screen (with serial/usb in first line). then i put my usb connection on and run the rom_update. after it is finished (succesfully) it stuck in the blue, green, red, yello screen! help please...

how did you hard reset?

i hold down the power-button and at same time put stylis in reset.

hard reset for both WM5 and WM6 is different from the one you're doing. here's the guide...

ok thanks, i have tried this:
i do softreset. whenn the stripes came i push "records and "camera"(media player button because there is no camera)---> nothing happens. it stops with the line R 1.10.00 and the coloured stripes.
i dont knwo what to do.
the bootloader method is running. i hold power and record button while i softreset. but with color screen it wont work.
they is no camera button (it is media-player button) because there is no camera. its an german xda III (blue angel).
the next problem is i dont knwo what os is right now on it. befor flashing it was wm2003 and flashing says it was successfully. i dont know if its wm6 or wm2003!

ok now all is happen...
the xda says nothing. it dont go on, it dont work anymore. no lights when in cradle, nothing.
can i do anything?

1. Take the battery out, wait a moment, put it back, do not turn on. Put in the cradle and try to charge it. Use power connection (from power supply), disconnect USB from the computer for charging. Amber led should turn on.
2. When it will be fully charged (amber LED will turn off) try to turn it on and enter bootloader. Try to downgrade to WM2003. If it works fine, try again to flash WM5 or WM6.
What you did seems to be wrong update (wrong rom, wrong file, not fully flashed). But you still have bootloader, so it should be possbile to flash it. But you need full battery.

it was not unlocked befor i flashed with bootloader-method.
i charged the battery in cradle (withoud the blue-angel). the led first went orange, after a while turned green (fully loaded). put it back in BA an nothing happens. then put BA (with battery) in cradle and the led became red.
no action on devide, no feedback, nothing. it wont turn on but led is still working.!?

ok i get it. in display is the "USB" & "v2.07". now i can flash. but my problem is the phone is not unlocked yet. what file can i flash now??

This message tells you are in bootloader mode. Now you can perform normal flash - I would propose you to use tested&working rom (WM2003?). If this works fine, try again to upgrade to WM5/WM6.
BTW: if you disconnect USB (take out BA from cradle) it should show Serial instead of USB.

My 9090 is stuck at bootlader...
When i try to update, (i press the power, record and reset), it says:
SERIAL (or USB)
DOC VERSION IS ERROR!
v2.08
Any idea???

that's normal...
try to flash/update your BA in that screen.

the easy way to go into bootloader mode is to execute a file called Enter Bootloader.exe ..it comes with the rom u download..( well it came with xplodes )
Note:- you have to execute this file directly on your deive not on your desktop PC...and i have only tested this on WM 2003..maybe it will work with wm6 also

I there...
I just updated to BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship, but only with Maupgrade, couldnt do it with baupgrade...
The problem is that i cant put extended rom, whem i try to upgrade is allways an error... and in the settings i dont have extended rom instaled...
Besides that the batery only last 1hour and the PDA is always freezing... i'm always doing resets...
any idea??

Fully Dead Elf after flashing ONYX

I flashed my htc elf (t-mobile touch) with onyx ultimate, just over halway it froze, then my whole pc froze and crashed, the phone turned off and i havent been able to get it on since, no lights, no screen, nothing
PLEASE HELP
I have tried:
power button
soft reset
hard reset
bootloader mode
plugging it into my pc and my mac to charge it but still no power
tried plugging it into my pc without the battery to see if the orange light comes on
Any Ideas??

I'm not exactly an expert but I'd have thought attempting to flashing a ROM shouldn't break its power supply. It doesn't add up. You mention the orange light, but does it actually come on or not?
I'll assume you flashed a USPL or you probably wouldn't be getting past 3% in the first place lol.

yea, it was all ready to be flashed, it was previously on a geniric htc rom that i put on it.
there is no orange light at all, no nothing, i cant seam to work it out, i mate has the same phone and im gonna try his charger and battery when i see him tomorrow but i still cant see how flashing it would affect the power, unless the device is blank now and it doesnt even know what the buttons do e.g the power button is not assigned to do anything.

try with another fully charged battery... and ELF/ELFin Golcard method, with a suitable flash file (like a Original one)

Try put the battery with the camera button pressed..

pres start button and fotos together
will appear 4 colors and ipl ..... and spl ........
if its appear: ipl 2....... and spl 1.11.000 you must upgrade your spl

Plz help me..! all Rom update failed at 2%

I tried to update my Shadow by the new wm6.1 rom.. the first time it went to 100% and restart with an error 270 : the image is corrupt . After, when I boot loader, it go to 2% and restart every time ( many) :
I'm stucked at bootloader mode and tried many roms but no one sucsess ... all of them reach 2% and then stopped.
even I tried the original one (Shadow_Software_Update_1.11.531.5.exe) from t-mobile official site but also same result.
so can any one help me and give me any solution to try?

I already tried to do this but...
* How can I upload sspl/uspl to my phone from bootloader because it's the only mode I can work my phone?
* when I tried to do USPL + RUU it go to 100% and then the phone restart and the RUU program says corrupted image...
then the phone stays in it's state (only can go to bootloader mode).
can I use MTTY program to flash sspl/uspl and USPL and then the new rom? if yes .. how I can do it?
Or what may I do my friend..

if you can only get to the bootloader then try flashing to the t mobile rom, then start over

I installed this ROM and it doesn't work!!
the screen is freeze with the Windows 6.5 Logo, and thats it!!!!
what can i do for do a hard reset?????? (i already do that thing, power it on, and then push the 2 soft buttons, and didn't work!),

Power off the phone
Press and hold the camera and voice keys
Insert the USB cable, Keep holding the camera and voice keys until you get the bootloader screen
Then flash an original ROM.

Did I Kill My Phone???? Please I Need Help

Hi Guys...
I'm trying to cook a rom... but now I'm ...
MY PHONE is BOOTING and BOOTING and BOOTING, I connect the USB CABLE and then the phones turns ON and HTC screen apears then He reboot Again... and again and again...
I already try to flash the Stock Rom and Had the same problem...

Did you Hard SPL it? Also if you from turned off, Hold Volume Down and Power, does it boot into the tri color mode? If so you can get the image file and follow these steps here

To bring you back to square one, then hard spl it correctly and load your rom, I prefer energy, see my sig for that link.

Maybe you should enter the bootloader? try and flash a cooked rom or stock rom to see if it still works

I Already do that... but still the same...
I thinking that is batery down... when I unplugged the USB cable the phone deads...
I had another battery in work, tomorrow I will see,,, because e don't charge...

He Won't Pass HTC blank screen when and turn ON... e reboot and reboot and reboot...
EDIT: Already Find The Problem ... A Pin in Batery connecte was wrong...
