Does anyone know the parameters for file explorer so it opens up the games folder?
Better yet, any folder?
I wish to open the office mobile folder (in start menu) using file explorer parameter.

I want to be able to access the icons in the settings folder like i can in the programs listing under windows\startmenu\programs - within file explorer - so can this be done - is there a reg hack or another better file explorer program??

how to set file associations to particular program...
i installed 'RESCO EXPLORER' which has option 'open with'. i tried opening '.cab' file through it with 'open with' program as explorer. it ran that '.cab' file once. after that i m not able to run any other '.cab' file. when i try to open any '.cab' file even through in-built WM explorer, nothing happens and explorer hangs.. i think i have messes up with file associations.
Can anybody pls tell how to associate '.cab' file to appropriate program??

Is there an application to search file contents? I am looking for such an application regardless of whether it runs in the phone itself or in a activesync'ed computer
If it's an app that runs on windows though will it search the \windows folder? because i cannot access this folder from activesync's file explorer for some reason

You must use an other explorer (Resco explorer) and copy-paste "Windows\fexplore.lnk" under "Windows\Start menu" folder.

So I'm new to Android tablets and got the TF700 to replace my Windows 7 tablet for trips.
The main item i want to do is backup my photo with light file management. I'm trying to find out how to select all the files with date create on 1 day and copy them but leave the rest of the files.
On windows I would find the first file and use CRTL+END then CTRL+C and CTRL+P in the directories I want to move the file to. So this may only copy 200 files out of a 600 file directory.
Is there any way to do this on android?
Currently I've got File Manager, Total Commander, Ghost Commander, OI File Manager, X-plore, ES file Explorer and Astro installed trying to figure it out.
You missed the best explorer for me : Solid Explorer beta 2 (available in the market).
If your files are named with the date inside, you can filter your files and then select all in one click, and move them where you want
