you did a great job with this theme... especially the dialer... it has its quirks and bugs i wish i knew how to fix (on the dialer)... and as for the theme, its perfect and very detailed to the t, but is very bulky and slowly responsive on my device. once everything is in memory it is pretty quick, but once you slide to landscape or power the backlight off... the memory will reset itself. (which is a problem with wad) but that isnt your fault wad2 will fix this! i have a lot of memory to spare on my kaiser... and once we get these missing drivers, im sure this theme would be a lot faster, but thats a whole new rant on its own...
but either way, getting back on track, i had to show appreciation to your work and share with this community here. thanks

i believe you extract the theme to /themes/desktop/ and then choose it in theme selector
but make sure you have your wad set to full screen in order for it to display properly...

Wad - wisebar advance?
Seeing the questions you have are all similar I'll answer as one.The main basis for my theme is Wisbar Advance 3 and Wisbar Advance Desktop. If you do not Have or know about these go to http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/download.php and all the relative Information is there.
As for my Theme It is easy to Install Thw Wad just needs to be extracted from the Mobile Vista.rar and the two folders Mobile Vista Portrait and Mobile Vista Landscape placed on your mobile in Themes/Desktop , that is if you have the WAD program. Then just select from Theme Manger.
All the other items are self installing Cab's or Extractable rar's and only need to go into there respective folders ie: Mobile Vista Wmp11 into the folder Windows Media Player etc
I hope this has helped
its wisbar advance desktop theme but its big. U can reduce it to 50 % because most of the background (wallpaper) is in .PNG format and u can change them to JPEG and that will reduce the size and also some .TGA (backgrounds) files are doubled and actually u can use onle one so delete if u find them i have reduced mine to 50% of the total size of this theme !!!

I had no problem with you posting my Dialer on this site, I guess I felt the rest of the Theme should then be here as well.
Yes it's only my second Dialer, Works well for me but then again I undestand all our mobiles are slightly different.
Anyway Tks for all the words and I'm glad you like It.
I haven't really had a chance to mess with any settings or Wisbar products yet, but what's the need for the Wisbar Advance?

If I understand the Question, there are no special needs they can be used on any windows mobile pocket pc pr phone addition. 2003se, mobile5 and mobile6. It's probably better with a newer modile as they usually have more memory.
Thanks for the great theme work. After a few times making the theme FUBAR'd and reloading it, I finally figured out how to customize it! I even added pages and plugins. Once it's finaly setup the way you want it, make sure you copy the theme directories to a safe location, because its a pain to customize in both portrait and then landscape, hours and even days of work can be lost in a snap. Here are some screen shots to give you some ideas:
The blue bar next to the start button is actaully a signal meter, it helps to know if you can make a call or not.
A few more screens:
The last one here is a page of spb today plugins; "Pocket Plus" "Phone Suite" (as a plus tab) and "Time".
Last one, used the included "weather page" and and customized it using "spb weather" today plugin, with some custom logos/text:
I would like to see an update to the dialer if possible, the "talk" button needs redial behavior added, right now it does nothing. If I can learn how to fix it, I'll post it if thats ok. It also needs the more white top raised above the buttons, for a better appearance, in my opinion. Thanks again for all the GREAT work, I know you put alot of time into this!
hi there
first off, i'd like to thank for making such nice appl,
but sorry to my bad understanding, how do i install it...?
thanks
DELETE double post. Sorry.
I had trouble at first too, after few hours of messing with wisbar I figured it out and wrote my self a text file for future reference:

PS. Using on AT&T Tilt, WM6 Professional
Sorry another P.S.
Disable any screen savers, especially "Spb Time" if you have it, the screen saver won't apear over this theme, until you try to answer a call, and then it can possibly lock up the phone requiring a reset. Do you really need a screensaver anyway, if its not in use, shut down the screen and save the battery

it's no possibile with a digital clock?
I try to install this cab, clock appear at center of the home tab, but the background in others tab is now black with a white square a corner!
now i must restore my last backup...
no other ideas?
I have been asking for this for so long and noone has come up with a solution.
from what i understand it can be done with any clock analogue or digital, personally i dont even want the time on my home screen - Please See Here- please can anyone help with this cab?
7e640092_manila if edited in notepad can remove different elements from the home screen, but for some reason my device has a non-english one and i cant understand what it says.
also for those wanting to get the file so you can have a look, the only way i managed to get the file off my device was to changing my computers folder view settings to show "all hidden system files" and "Show all protected operating system files" then to connect through active sync, and search the windows dir on my device (which took F'in ages!! so be warned if you try!!!) using windows explorer, and then copying it to desktop.
I have tryed the analogue clock approach HERE found i had the problems shown by the screenshots and posted for help 7 or 8 times.
it seems people wont help at all when it comes to this!!
i hope the info i provided gets a solution for this irritating problem
No clock / call hist / cal
Well, the easiest way i could think of, if u do not want to have the call hist/cal/clock on the Today screen, is to dl any analog clock, extract the manila files, replace the clock images with transparent ones using Manila Editor, and finally copying all those files to the windows folder in ure device.
However, if u want a digital clock w/o those 2 tabs, there is a post right below by Elvelynn here :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2861270#post2861270
Hope dat helps.
Edit: To MysticGenius, perhaps u could try dling a different clock and install the cab file that removes curtains by NisseDILLIGAF, to fix the problems u encountered, cos from my experience, installing analog clocks does not change the size of my operator text.

yikes, it seems u kinda misunderstood wat the cab file does. All it does is remove the white dotted lines between the call history & calendar texts. dats y she posted further instructions to remove the remaining call hist / calendar icons & text.
Anyway, just found out dat on the next page lies the "clean_startseite_custom.cab" file, courtesy of Elvelynn, which shd clean up the home screen, and if u have installed the "clean_startseite_tf3d.cab", be sure to uninstall dat first b4 installing this cab. of course, theres no guarantees it will work on ure device, so a backup might come in handy for some folks

according to the author of the cab file, it does wat the instructions say in the first link i posted here, i.e. it removes the dotted lines & the call hist / calendar icons and text, and the clock background becomes transparent. it also seems dat if u use the default WinMo alarm clock, the alarm time will still be displayed in ure home screen.
u could just backup ure 1bbfdc9b, 7e640092, 4820c63b, 6aec5f68 and 74ddfccb manila files, which is wat this cab file replaces.
the Keys in xml files should be
IDS_NOAPPOINTMENTS
IDS_CALENDAR
IDS_NOMISSEDCALL
But for italian language there isn't a manila file that have these keys...
nobody find solutions?
I'm near to solution
in file 1c684cd8_manila you can change the font color (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2749452#post2749452) and I try to modify in this file the font size!
I find:
- " F o n t S i z e "GJ $ " for the size of Call registry and calendar
- " S i z e "GJ p " for the space where texts are..
But if you go in hex (for font size) and change 24 to 00 the tf3d don't start...
If you set it to 01 you see only a simple line, but the space of selection stay there and i don't find a solution to remove it, changing the number of hex in S i z e nothing happen...
How Can i add the application shortcuts to the System Tray ( Like in wisebar )
Regards
No reply this far
is it possible or not ? anybody!!
Nobody?
is it really there is no way to put applications on system tray?
I can't answer your question because I don't know what you want. If you want an application to be on the taskbar only you have to write it yourself. Don't know what you mean by "putting an application on the taskbar" - what should the icon do there?
Add more details to your question and someone might answer.
System Tray
I want to add an icon in the system tray ( NOT taskbar!) Which means - I want access the system tray to run some freqly used applications (ofcourse my choice) is it clear now
You mean you want to add shortcuts to the lower bar of the today screen?
Yes!
Yes, that's it- You are right. But till now nobody answer it!!
still nobody?
its is a surprise that nobody has the answer for me?
may be describe what you want some more?
i just read this thread and still i'm not 100% sure what you are trying to do.
Okay, then let me describe what he wants:
If you disable TouchFlo3D, you've got the two shortcuts at the bottom of your today screen. Just above them, there is the so called systray, similar to the tray in Windows XP oder Vista, where any program may place its symbol. In times of WM2003 there used to be a bluetooth icon down there as well as an icon to change your screen rotation.
The alternative would be a today plugin, placing some icons as shortcuts, such as Launcher oder MortButtons.
yes the same
i have an exe and want to put it in the system tray (im not using touchflow3d) i have a visible system tray. how can i?
Maybe this one might be something for you: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540158
May not be
I've to check it first N i'll tell you
im trying to change my icons on the manila but only some of them change does anyone know how to fix this proble thanks
Which icons have you changed and which ones are not changing?
the weather and the calender changed but the others did not music, internet search, settings, people, home
What program are you using to change the icons?
I have been using cfc-gui to change my icons and they are grouped together depending on what they are (i.e. - tray, hero, people screen, weather screen, etc.).
Are you trying to change your "tray" and "hero" icons or icons within each tab?
no programs just cabs from different people on this site
You're not making the rookie mistake that I made and installing a cab (to change the icons) on top of one that is already installed?
yup, so what do I do? Help me learn
Just uninstall all of them and soft reset. You should be okay.
how do i do that? where do i go
Click the Start button in the upper left hand corner.
Start>Settings>System>Remove Programs
Select a program and click "Remove" in the bottom right hand of the screen.
sorry for the missunderstanding i knwhow to remove programs i want to change the icons but i dont know why only some changed and would like all of them changed
It depends on the cabs. Some people change all of them and some only change some. For instance, my cab that I have installed doesn't change the photo, music, or AT&T tabs because I didn't include them in the changes.
can anyone post these? im trying to change the calendar and history icon under my clock.

So it won't just uninstall what it can "find" and not worry about what it doesn't?
Also, when unintalling a program/theme, how does it know what to revert back to? Are the original files not overwritten/deleted?
Hi guys
Been searching for ages now on the forum and on Google and haven't been able to find the solution to a couple of issues I'm having with Sense 2.5 on the official HTC ROM (which was flashed by HTC on repair of my TP2)
1 - the text messaging is useless (for me) in Sense 2.5. I prefer the original Windows mobile way of messaging - how do I get back to that? SMS doesn't appear in Outlook anymore???
2 - None of my methods that worked in the previous WM6.5 Sense 2.1 ROM for making the Start menu appear in 4 rows seems to work?
3 - Shapps Advanced Config seems to disable my settings? I can't get into Remove programs so can't uninstall? Need to Hard Reset?
If anyone can help with the above I'd be very grateful!
Thanks
Hello,
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=556614
3. Go to the Manila Settings-Tab. There is a program entry (I don't now how it calls in english ROMs). There you can unistall Software.
Hi ChatFix
Thanks for a quick reply!
I'll have a look at that link now
Unfortunately I didn't explain 3 properly - the settings tab in manilla is not accessible once I install Advanced Config, so there's no way of actually getting back to the Remove Applications icon to be able to uninstall it...

1. I can use Windows Messaging instead of HTC messaging with no problems.
2. I do have this problem, but I believe there is a reg edit specific to 6.5 that my 6.5.5 one does not work on nor does any that were for Sense 2.1.
3. I think your installation of the ROM or Advanced Config is borked. I have no problems at all.
I have found this little tool. So you can disable Manila, uninstall your software and enable manila with the today-settings from windows mobile.
Hi guys!
Thanks for your replies, it's really appreciated
Nagrom - Did you use the link provided by ChatFox to enable use of the Windows Messaging Client rather than the HTC one?
Chatfix - what exactly does that file do? Does it disable the entire Manilla 'home' screen and display the standard Windows Today screen (or WM6.5 Titanium screen) or does it still display the normal Manilla 'home' screen but disable certain parts of the HTC 'wrapper' (e.g. notification bar)
Oh - after the last hard reset, Advanced Config appears to be working OK now, phew!
I'm teetering on the edge of reflashing the old Sense 2.1 ROM, but I really don't want to!
This file disables all Today-Plugins. (Manila 2.5 is still a Today-Plugin)
