at first please excuse my bad english
I have orderd the Touch Diamond from German T-Mobile. They ´optimized´ the GUI, now it´s a terrible color-selection (pink/white) and others function-things also not fine.
Is there a possibility to get the original HTC themes /software back ?
Can i make a flash up/downgrade like by other phones ?
In my opinion the provider things are hiden in the windows6.1 system files, so i could change it ? Or are they in the flash ?
Im very thankfull for any help to stop this pink accident...

i'm not sure but i think this touchflo 3d is a kind of customized plugin and so, if you have the same plugin from the htc one then you can change your pinky madness.

I haven't seen solutions for my problem in precedent threads so :
I can't make appear the image of the new themes I install... always the classic today screen from HTC ROM (HTC Black )
I can install new themes with TF3DConfig (the clock and icons are new) but the background of today screen always stays the same !
What can I do ??

you should search the threads as this has been discussed a hundred times and they don`t like you asking the same question on lots of threads , however the answer is that the background can only be changed by changing the wallpaper in the settings tab. the downloaded theme will either have a wallpaper file to use or use your own favourites.

I know it's such a pain to see again and again the same questions in forums... However I didn't see this question before (only in a thread that didn't give solution)... Maybe it's also because I don't speak (and read) english very well !!!

I saw this advise !
I also saw that this tool can be used with every official Roms... so why not with this one ??? is it only a "legal" problem or is it because the tool doesn't really works with this rom ??

For an answer you will have to ask the programmer who started that thread.

That is no longer an issue. There are many 1.93 rom users who have succesfully installed themes using the config tool. The warning only applies to a few custom made roms.

Just got mda compact, i dont like the pink t mobile touch flo. how can i install the htc touch flo onto my phone or should i say can u.
All help would be most grateful, i have slight technical knowledge but not in this field so laymans terms would be good.

First install NETCFSetupv35.msi (necessary for all tweaking programs on this forum).
Then install Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.cab
Somewhere make a folder 'Themes'.
Copy HTC_Black_v1.93.theme into the folder.
Open Diamond TF3D Config, tab Appearance en select this theme. Then click 'Apply'.
Done.
Hint: also try Advanced Configuration tool and Manila Customizer.
Have fun...

I just bought mda compact IV. Just like hpoolsteve, I hate pink touchflo.
My question is how to get diamond ToucFlo if i have 1.93 ROM. You wrote that we don't use "Diamond TF3D Config Setup v0.6.7.cab" if we have that ROM.
Pls help me, I', new in WM (i was iPhone user till now )

well, basically it IS possible. BUT: there are i think two or more developer groups trying to port Manilla 2.5 to VGA and i also think there is some success but it's far from being stable and useable.
Believe me, there are many people waiting for this, but that's all we can do for now. If you want to do something else, support these devs, but it's useless to start this again and again.
Just copying OEMs won't work, coz Manilla, especially 2.5 uses a LOT of files and programs.
I saw the preview about Manila 2.5 , and look forward to becoming more and more. But I know that maybe impossible for diamond. So what I can do is just waiting for the developer
I bought Touch Diamond a while go and heard that it can be "upgraded" to Diamond 2 with some custom rom... I think I found the needed files but there isnt info about how to install it to phone. Could someone help me out and write to here or give a link..
I live in Finland so with that based, i need the files too probably.. If there isnt custom files for Finnish then a proper English one that will work for me..

Other thing, sorry if there was a post about it, but I did lot of search, couldn't find it...
So, I'm runnig on WM6.1 on Touch pro 2 with htc stock french rom (actually the fastest rom for me...). It's the rom wich has the official memory fixe(the informations are just in case...)
I want to have manila 2.5 (or even 2.1, but can't find it in WVGA as cab file).
I found every cab on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=746086 (in the bottom of the first post)
The problem is, if I install the 2.5 manila cab, every thing works (of course with the "IsWM6.5" value change) except for one most important thing...
Menus, text, everything which could be relatted (I think) with language isn't shown correctly. It displays me something like IDS_MENU_BLABLABLA .
How can I solve it ?
If you can tell me were to find a cab for sense 2.1 in WVGA it would be great too
I'm using a mac, so I can't make my own rom (for having sense+wm6.1 without htc messaging).
