Hello all,
when I want to set a photo as a contact icon, a frame shows up to crop a photo, but all the photos in the album are rotated to "best fit" or "actual orientation"...so in both cases, I can't rotate the photo to the best orientation, and I add the photo to 90 degree to the left.
How can I rotate the photo in the crop mode( set as contact icon mode) ?
p.s.: I know that I can rotate the photos from start>>Multimedia>>Pictures & Videos....this solution is useless in my case !
from start>>Multimedia>>Pictures & Videos
go to edit>rotate>menu>crop
then save it

Click to collapse
and if I have lots of pics, sure it's hard to do this over and over !
so htc here sucks !
This is real frustrating!!! Why would they make a camera that dont fit the wallpaper size, and how do i resize it? (Same for images i saved from the internet)
try using pinch to zoom...
I tried that. It will only put part of the picture as the wallpaper. The pictures are to big
Non of the camera resolutions are exact for the screen. You just got to crop its da only way. Or you can transfer the pic to computer, resize the whole pic to the resolution of screen than use it.
If u put the picture frame widget on your homepage, it allows you to pick multiple pictures then they change automatically. I think it's cool, none of my other Android phones did this.
dude, why are you doing this? This is just useless
I want to place a picture I took in portrait as my background. I turned off scrolling desktop assuming this would allow me to not have to crop the photo to a landscape picture, but it still askes me to crop it everytime. I thought maybe it was Go Launcher, but it has the same menu in all launcher so it is part of CM7/Android2.3.
Does anyone know how to add a full (top to bottom) picture as the background without having to crop? Thanks in advance!
Ok so I guess I should try google before I ask...so allow me to do the honors.
