I love the VGA screen of the Exec, but TomTom 5 runs so sluggish on it. Is there a way to force TomTom 5 to run at 320x240 so the movement is smoother?
I can't help with the resolution but have you tried TomTom in Portrait mode? It is much, much quicker than landscape - infact no slower than it was on my JAM.
Has anyone played these 2 games on the Universal? Is it compatible? Does it run on landscape and can we assign different control buttons?

How about SkyForce Reloaded?
SF Reloaded works fine in portrait, think it starts in landscape but the screen is smaller much like vertical shooters on widescreen TV's

I can confirm, both Gold Miner Joe and MicroQuad works fine on the Universal. They play in landscape mode with the screen facing up. We can't play them on laptop mode because there is no option for screen switching. Switching the screen beforehand does not make them play at laptop mode either. But the games play smoothly on the Universal.

I have SPB brain evolution, Astraware soduku, cubis, solitaire ,and boardgames . they all work @ 96dpi. SPB only works in portriat mode all other s works on both landscape and portriat modes. May be you need to downloads the latest version of the games.

Astraware Casino, Solitaire, Soduku, and Plantronics. All of this game is working in 128dpi... landscape.
I know skyforce reloaded, work in portrait, not landscape.
I try to find other game also....
I also don't know any Mahjong game working fine and with good graphics working on 96 dpi's.

mahjong is my prefered game ever...
incredible how people choose games... always the same.
is only me that feels like games for this plataform is not very different from each other???

Not a game, but was wondering if there is a scientific calculator that runs on Real VGA 96?
I downloaded iSS SciCalc, but that only worked in Landscape mode and even then the calculator face was only qvga sized.
To make matters worse, I changed my font and now the program does not work at all.

Touch HD 3.8" screen is very nice, indeed.
But, how effective is it?
I meant, for sure, when you are browsing the internet using OPERA, you can see more content, compared to the 2.8" (320x240) screen.
However, this "more" content, are they READABLE directly ... without ZOOMING? Especially in LANDSCAPE mode.
What do you think about this?
For sure, without any doubt, the 3.8" is way much better for watching movie/video
So, can we do it, like vga or wvga reduce/fit to qvga.
