Hello. I'm new here. I recently bought a Dopod 818 pro, and installed a WM6.1 ROM (My Vista Edition, I don't remember the creator).
I have a slight problem: every time I perform a reset, the device start in horizontal mode.
This started to happen after a few hours I installed the ROM. I also installed some software, so I believe some of these is the cause of the problem.
The software I installed after the ROM were:
QuickMenu
Ultimate Lunch
PocketBreeze
Slide2Unlock
I installed some other stuff, but I dubt they have something to do with this.
Anyone knows what to do?

Does anyone has solved the problem with Pocket Plus 3.0.1?
Everytime I install it at the first soft reset it freeze on the Imate
image.
Someone says that it need to unselect the Safe Mode option.
before to try i would like to be sure...

This does solve the issue of soft reset but it will still hang at times !! I'm using a trial version of Ilauncher at the moment until the Kjam issues are resolved .
after setup finish disable Safe Mode from Pocket Plus settings... that will solve the problem 8)
I installed Pocket Plus 3.01 and followed the advice about unchecking safe mode option. I've been running with it for 3 days now and have not suffered any of the problems mentioned. Speed is also quite favourable.
So far so good, will post again if things go wrong.....fingers crossed!

Hmm mine locked after using , but I did have Weather and Diary loaded as well :roll:
all SPB product's work well. just install them on the main memory. 8)
it´s rarelly on my wizard is imposible to install pocket plus ?¿?

heel there, ive installed the molskibiz wizard rom upgrade with the new aku2 rom and extra upgrading cabs he placed on his site. Now when im trying to use tomtom 5.2 after reinstalling it and then first rebooting it hangs when i reach the screen for the selection of the maps: normaly i select the guam map first because its a cracked version of tomtom.
When i did this on my older roms(qtek and t-mobile) it worked perfectly.
What could be the problem???
i installed wm6 the other day on my spvc500 and everything went well.
the phone started, but when i gave it a restart, it just wouldnt connect to my network...
it stays in NO service state and does nothing...
i really dont know what to do...please, help me...
i'm freakin for not knowing what to do....

I had the same problem and I know explanations.
Problem is in software which you installed after flashing WM6 to your SPV.
When you installing software everything is working on 100% ,but after restaring mobile
phone starting very long time ,doesn't have signal and time on main screen.
You have only one option ,re-flash WM6 again ![/COLOR]
Uninstall software hasn't influence!!!
be carefully with installation new software, I don't know where is problem exactly >

If you are using different software you have only one way how to find "good" and "wrong" software.
After reflashing WM6 install only one program and restart the phone if everything will be working program is OK.
But if no you have to reflash WM6 again !!!
Be careful, all your data will be lost.
I got the same problem, after installing some software i got no network anymore.
Also the menue did not respond anymore on pressing 'Start'-button
I had to flash my Amadeus again, because also a hard-reset didn't help.
Now i think i have installed all the software again and it works still well
edit: 10 minutes after i rebooted my amadeus and BANG, nothing works anymore.
Crap.
I think the problem is 'facade', a tool to show a schedule on the homescreen.

well, i managed to solve my problem...
the thing was to flash this WM6 and now everything works jut fine...
i can finally say that i am pleased with my c500!
Before I try this Version of WM6: Do you use Facade?
I flashed my Amadeus with WM5, installed Facade, rebooted and nothing worked. After that I flashed WM 6, did not install Facade and everything is ok
I got the same problem, but after hard reset everything was ok, so reflashing WM6 was not necessary.

I have an amazing problem in my universal, It keeps freezing when going to powersave mode.
I mean in most times, I come back to my device and I found it freezing with no response, And I have to reset it or take out the battery and put it back.
And my device will never freez if he didn't go to the powersave mode,
I have tried all the solutions that I can do which includes:
1. Hard reset (didn't work)
2. Rom Upgrade (didn't work) I tried all the possible rom's including I-mate offical rom, And now I am running on ranju's 7.4 WM6.1
3. I tried a lot of radios, including 1.13 , 1.15 , 1.18 , All of them didn't solve the problem.
4. I bought a new original battery, And the problem exist.
I am asking everybody here for help, I though about buying a new pocketpc, Then I found out that my budget will not fit, Because I am still a student

I m all new in windows mobile smartphones and now I have a problem. Well, almost every time I try to change my desktop wallpaper (either "weather" or "lock screen") my phone freez and I have to reset it with the red button that is under battery case (is it hard-reset??). I m not sure what to do and what is happening. I updated my phone with the updates from the official HTC page. I have installed HD2 tweaks, SKTools, SPB backup, SPB time, SPB brain something, ZUMA and Galarm - maybe some of these applications???

it's called a soft reset
when you wipe the data from your phone that's a hard reset.
what rom are you on? custom/stock?

I m using stock rom...i think it worked nice till now. I mean, first i started using my phone I tried few times to change wallpaper and it worked fine, and now it sometimes does and sometimes it freez...so I think it s maybe due to installed programes...
normal issues on the HD2..... freezes.. gets choppy/slow...yes frustrating... such a beauty and all those problems.. who to blame?
i had those problem too but flashed to energy rom and haven't seen since then so i would recommend that , b/c stock rom that hd2 comes w/ is buggy so u might wanna think about flashing
I got answer...I removed Galarm I installed previously and now everything works perfectly...
