hello, what are the different between window ce 4.2 net and windows mobile 2003? Will a software that was designed for windows ce 4.2 net run of windows mobile 2003? What type of pda using window ce 4.2 net? I noticed most of the pda and phone were using windows mobile. Thank u.

Install the PPC2003 rom please.
If you don't know how to, please wait for the USB update or official update.
Just to confirm that WMP version 9 is only available as part of the new Windows Mobile 2003 O/S. I'm guessing we should see this available for download before the end of the month, else shortly after.

no,a SDK is a Software Development Kit. So you can write software for Windows Mobile 2005. Its not an OS

Visual Studio 2005 beta 2 is required to run emulater.
You can get from MS, or some attched CD on some kinds of PDA magazines.
To install Visual Studio2005, Your PC must be up dated SP2 of windows XP.
I remeber Visual Studio 2005 Express cant work for Emulator<but not sure>
But you try to use Visual Studio 2005 Express and SDK.
The tools set is right from the VB2005 beta,so I think IT IS FREE.They allowed you to manage files,edit registry,manage processes,control your PPC and etc in your PC!! 8)

Hello there,
I have a GPS device " Carrera ". It has Windows CE 5 on it and has programs linked to it. Now, I want to use Garmin Mobile XT on it. There are CE versions of the program. However, They require that the port is split between the original program and the garmin program. Those port splitters arent working.
Does anyone have any idea how to install a pure Windows CE on the system or maybe even Windows Mobile? Is there any way to have Hard SPL or anything like that on the GPS device?
Anyone? I'm sure someone out there knows more about this stuff
