I find that with this build as well as the previous one there are issues with the cyberion voice command program (does not show in apps start up folder) and with the java client (can not open opera mini)..can you confirm please?

The voice command, you can create a shortcut to it from \Windows or use the hard button or try the attached patch
the java client could work with this build as Esmertec Jbed_20080222_3.1M looks newer (sorry I only use opera browser- so I won't be able to tell)

Its a brand new build, and the ROM feels a lot faster than the previous releases

I try this new v10 version and I found an old problem (same problem already found with an old pdaviet rom): the start menu crash. the background of start become black or multicolor and all windows freeze.

Well, if you choose more than 4mb for system cache, then definitely your PDA will freeze. Also there might be a third-party program that does that, too. You would need to figure out which one it is. The page pool on his ROMs is 6mb. If you try to change that for 16, 20, 24, 32 etc, you will end up in freezing as well.
I tested all PDAViet's Roms release on xda-dev and they literally fly "out of the box".

Man, i just flashed V8 and now V10. Just completed all customizations...the ROM hung on me twice already...I just ran sktools, optimized it for performance...let see what happens.
Not sure why he is so hooked on the BatteryStatus thing...there are newer versions and not sure why this version is his socalled "stable" choice. Install a new version over this will hang/crash the system once or twice...hehe..depending on how lucky u r...hehe
I have v8 ROM loaded pretty well with programs and games now...let see how it will hold up the next few days. I moved from bepes 0.66 to V8 coz 0.66 required reset often to regain memory. Not sure where the memory leak came from but bepes 0.66 was fast and loaded with feature such as larger text on menu. so far...it seems bepes 0.66 loads faster than V8.

With this release the contact synchronisation with my bt carkit isn't working.
I had the same issue with bepe's 0.67 ROM.
Names get synchronised but no phone numbers.
Build 19900 works fine though.

I found the solution to this:
When my XDA Orbit 2 asks if I want to grant access to contacts and I say NO names and phonenumbers get synchronised.
If I say YES only names get synchronised.
Will inform THB Bury about that.
Has anyone here been able to install Opera Mini 4.1?
I get "File error (???)" all the time.
Doesn't matter what language or signed version I take.

After the above we have build 19213 and now build 19581 which is going backwards in number
My question is which is the latest and the best as of this moment in time. Why is the build numbers going backwards instead of forward

Lots of the above mentioned builds are fake, the release that is extracted from an official ROM for any device and consequently ported to TC would make a better ROM.
19213 is the latest build made for the Tilt (AT&T) and I find it pretty fast and stable.
19581 is claimed to be a ROM from the upcoming HTC Diamond without the original drivers and its as good as the 19213.
Both of the above are great ROMs, and what would be the best ROM?? Is your call based on what works best for you.

All his rom's normally don't support these protocols as these services are not available in PhamQuang's country.
the other pdaviet's rom i tried worked ok.
With the provided patch of course, right?
nop.In previous version H icon worked without a patch.
i download and install taiseer cab which enabled video call in previous versioon.
with that rom video call work with taiseer cab but H icon is not here.probably some icon or registry setting missing but its not so obvious for me.

I just have to set the network type within phone settings to auto.

I live in NJ, USA and own an HTC Touch Cruise. I wanted to know if I can install this ROM on my TC or not? If yea, does the WM 6.1 ROM have any features missing which I won't be getting while I use it in the USA? Has anybody in the US with a TC upgraded their phones to use this ROM? Any assistance is appreciated .

This one is using the Diamond ROM. It's basically a bug fix upgrade to v14.
It contains two fixes which i had pointed out to Pham at his forum.
- Connection Setup
&
- Java fix
BTW, this is v16 and not 15 on his site.

can anyone guide in porting the diamond sys to elfin? i tried to do it like a normal kaiser rom (changed the dpi folders to qvga) but it screwed up some contacts and control panle applets.. so there is something more than sys porting like other roms.. can anyone be kind to help me out in this?

I used v42, it's fast, but the messages do not work as it should, the cursor is not always where you need it, sometimes the keyboard occurring on some black stripes. But it wrong fewer letters when writing or is just an impression?

no impression... also had some probs with the messaging and the keyboard!
also had big troubles with WiFi, so i changed now to KhanX (v1.4) ROM
maybe I am lucky but I'm having no problems with v42.
seems to use way less memory than udK Syrius r4

ROM Guides:
- Your Polaris must be HardSPL before up ROM.
- This ROM just has Operating System only, no Radio.
- Download and extract with the password below. Connecting Polaris with PC through USB.
- Running file ROMUpdateUtility.exe and following step by step on the windows => Polaris run BootLoader state and loading 100% => Polaris auto reset and you have new ROM.

Nice build again, TranMinhMan makes a very good job I will try it later
I tried it... Nice, fast but with some bugs:
-backlight setting doesnt work
-push mail doesnt work correctly - if phone sleep mail not "pushed"
-alarm doesnt work
I think there is a problem if phone "sleeps", the same problem i have with pcarvalhos ROM...
Don't like the mixture of dark brown mega buttons with black M2D theme.
Love the free RAM and features though.

actually after some testing... it's one of the fastest ROM have tried... the Pushmail and Alarm doesn't bother me as I'm not using them... bu the MEGA Camera zooming is a real BUG for me...
Is it possible to use this ROM with another Camera with auto-focus? which version and a link will be very nice
i dont know how but alarm worked for me. just tried it out and it worked fine, but dont know about push mail cuz thats the thing i never use.
but i have another problem like surfing in the start menu is kinda sticky or freezy, but everything else seems to work fine.
also installing pcarvalho's ezinput 2.1 on this rom, i had to hard reset my device. maybe someone knows why TranMinhMan doesnt use ezinput, cuz i really like this ezinput.
nice rom, but unfortunatelly after installing my favorite Keyboard+ (en-ru-ua keyboard) device stop load after SR just hard reset helps.

I'm testing 21847. First think I can see is that RADIO_FM not work...
And in Notification Systems, battery step is 10% ( 10, 20, 30...... 100 )

I flashed 21847 ROM. For me, is one of the best WM6.5 Rom tested until now. Very very fast and stable, run very smooth..

there is always something not working in pdaviets roms. and its not minor issues. so why do ppl use them ? please tell me?

I found on forum FM Radio byPolum.cab , I install this CAB and now FM Radio it's working
