VGA out resolution question

If I could set Athena in real VGA would it work in VGA out mode in real VGA resolution too?

I got it running on my projector - 7ft Tomtom is GREAT!

OK, I didnt really use my XDA Exec (universal) in realVGA mode because the today page was just too small...
Now I havent tried it on the Ameo (Athena) yet, but it looks better from those pics.
My question, from the larger screen size, would you say the Athena was usable in daylight with realVGA mode on? Its hard to see the screen in daylight and the last thing you want to have to do is squint at tiny fonts.

I wouldn't count on there being an update soon.
And "a lot of bugs" is matter of definition. Personally, I can't live without TrueVGA at all.

Advantage HTC Home landscape QVGA, anybody?

Hi there Folks,
maybe a strange question, but I give it a shot. I tried to install the HTC Home - All Devices on my HP910C. Works. Only problem: NO more space for a today plugin... :-( But after a search on the internet I saw that on the HTC Advantage they made a nice solution to keep a little space to run a few today plugins... They moved the three buttons from SMS, Mail and missed calls to the right, so there is a slimmer HTC Home to fit on the today screen. VGA of course :-( I searched trough XDA and on the internet, but it seems like nobody ever shrunk it to QVGA. Do you guys think it is possible to make a QVGA sollution for "non-rotatable" landscape devices? That's the only thing I seem to miss on it... Anybody a suggestion, hint, link? Or should I forget about it and go whining in a little dark corner of my room and accept the punishment of going to a HP from my Tytn... link: http://i.zdnet.com/gallery/202271-480-360.jpg

[REQ] HD Keyboards for VGA..

Hey!
First of all iam really sorry if this has been asked before! But i searched around and didn't find anything about it ..
I have seen some roms with The Touch HD Keyboards cooked into them but only for once because they were to buggy. I would like these keyboards on my Touch Diamond, actually it is only the Phone Keypad iam looking for as the HD keypad provides a better way of changing between words..
Has this allready been made available as a cab or ?
Btw: Hope this was placed in the right section .. Just thinking that the guys here at the diamond forum is more into hd porting than they are at the development and hacking section ..

Still no one that can tell me anything about this?

itje released cabs found in the xperia x1 forum.
look there.
you will find them BUT will be for WVGA so it will be a little taller on your diamond.

I tried install that keyboard on my Diamond and it says Instalation incomplete becase bla bla bla system restriction ... I don`t know why ... This is only resolution :/
EDIT: Ok instaled it on Internal not Device. But why there is so mess ... Wvga is 800x480 vga is 640x480 width is the same :/ But there is so messy in width :/

And also please thank xboxmod as the .cab is taken from his "Bell UI Test Rom" thread
... oh yah.. This Keyboard ROCKS!!! Tried & Tested on Dutty's V2.8 ROM

I've tried to install this keyboard on my Diamond with 1.93 Official ITA Rom, but when I use any app in landscape I see it cutted.
Why???
Edit: It's a WVGA Keyboard? Beacause I've not a Touch HD but a simple Diamond (that is VGA). Perhaps it is the problem.

it does fit in portrait, not in landscape.
it is usable in landscape but it is cut of.

with every thing i do, my phone opens the smal keybord in stead off full qwerty.
even if i put it on full qwerty in the settings.

Works great in portrait. Noticed if I want to start a new email or text, the phone would pick up a name or give me an option of a person to choose from when adding a name to send to. now it doesn't. Could this be linked?

when i try to dl it i get a virus warning from norton....

thats norton giving you a false positive.
its famous for doing that.

Does anyone know how to change the language? Its rather pointless having this keyboard if we can't change it to the language we want..

lol, u missed the point.
how do u add some1 to your contact list? probably in widescreen mode cause u use the keyboard for typing

Yes and you can still use the app in widescreen, it just doesn't fill the whole screen, see?

nope not realy.
since the navbar on the right is gone and u have to close the keyboard all the time u want to select a different field

It's a nice free and original picture viewer. Works nice (bit slow) on my elf, didn't try yet on my topaz.

tested it on my ..hd...working fine...!
it is really quite finger friendly..takes little time to adapt ..to relevant finger movements ..but i agree its quit nice software..

good app...but needs a time that the pics are sharp...

Really different as other viewers .
works really fine on my acer x-960 .
I just sent an email to the developer to thanks him (and for a feature request too ).
I asked if possible to get moving the rotating menu directly by dragging the pictures in addition (not instead) of the area on the bottom of the screen . It will be more intuitive I think .
I send an email in french cause developer is french (like me so easier to explain the request ) . I'm waiting for his answer and will post it there .
