anyone seen or tryed it?
my fail... I found what is it... And i think that's GUI API, which look like iphone. That's all, so we can't say anything more, can we?
dude! thats not the same thing :O

the youtube video
I wonder if it's that smooth on a phone instead of an emulator...
on the video it is a LG viewty app (which doesn't run windows mobile), so it is a different app
This isn't half bad! Animation seems pretty smooth (then again, it looks like it is running in a pc)
It's not bad at all!!

Wow. Awesome mathematics in that program. That is amazing, really, to be able to calcullate that on a handheld device. LOL.
Thanks for the link.
Right, now I need that app working. Can we get an iphone emulator for ppc?

Not really. If well written, this wouldn't require much processing. I agree - cool.
This is now my favourite game on the PC - it's a bit like Lemmings but the crayon drawing is more fun. Thanks!
can someone please port this to ppc / kaiser?
this is great fun..

yeah, maybe that wouldn't work. but.. well, i think it's even possible to code this in flash or sth.. i mean i could do the most of it in flash if i had loooots of time..
err, what's the use of it?.. fun, but extremely useless.
Looks like a Gmphysics port to iPhone.

Well you are probably the type of person that finds LineRider or Tower of Goo quite a useless thing but there is a lot of people who love these "games"
I would really love to see this one for WM... It shouldn't be that hard to program it
Nice game

Hello.
I am wondering if anyone of you programmers could make the game Crayon Physics Deluxe usable on the Diamond.
Here's the link to their site: http://www.crayonphysics.com/
It would be awesome playing this in landscape mode on the diamond.
I hope you can at least try.
Thanks in forehand //Felix
This game does sound kind of interesting. A buddy of mine just played it and said it was pretty good. Id give it a shot on my ppc. After watching the video though, I am not sure that a ppc could handle the physics engine to run it. Maybe I am wrong, but it looks like it would take a decent processor/gpu tandem to run it.
This is kind o the same, check it out:

there's already an iphone version, iphysics. Hope there will be a WMobile version too !
There is an open source version called Numpty Phyics, originally created for the Nokia Internet Tablets (Maemo) but since then ported to a number of different OSes such as Windows. The source code is available as well if someone wants to take a stab at porting it over to WinMo.

Recently, while I googled for some stuff, I got my eyes on this headline of a new wm game engine. I looked into it and watched a few videos demonstrating it's functionality... well, it was pretty damn impressive!
The engine is developed by MindPol, and it has been existing for quite a while, just not for windows mobile. It is about to be ported though, and they write in the description of this video (an app made with their game-engine) that they'd like some attention to speed up their release. So, if there is anyone out there who would like some iPhone-like 3d games coming to your device in near future, I think it'd be a good idea to support these guys!
A quote from the description of the video I linked above:
"This game and characters was made in September 2008.
But we didn't complete yet cause of another project we do.
... Actually we need more support.
Please give us your interest and support.
Thank you "

Any news on this?
Very interested. Will it be ported to the omnia?
u sure they gunna bring that to WM... all those vids were them playin on a DS
Hmm. Seeing this running on the X1 makes me wonder. What driver are they using? Standard X1 drivers on a standard X1 rom?
jeeeez i wanna have that stuff!!!!!!plsplspls.......i would love to see that demos on my x1....is there any way to get these demos?????
Hello, Thanks a lot for introducing our engine.^^
I'm a developer of this engine, Galatea Engine.
Yes, we succeed in converting PC version to WM version.
Now our engine supports Windows Mobile perfectly.
And the used driver (and rom) in that movie you saw is a standard driver which can be downloaded in Sony Ericsson Developer World.
As for Xperia X1, we used them.
Nowaday, our engine is more faster and better than before.
One more, Omnia doesn't support OpenGL|ES yet but D3DM.
However their new Omnia will support OpenGL|ES 2.0 and we are waiting for that. (In korea, we can't get any information of that device actaully.)
Anyway if you want more information, please visit our website www.MindPol.com or www.GalateaTechnology.com.
And today we released a trial game for Xperial X1 and some devices. Please check this on www.MindPolGames.com. (However it's not 3D game but 2D.)

You can get some samples at the link below.
http://cafe.naver.com/bjphone/288534
BUT THOSE ARE NOT STABLE VERSION.
(Check the date, they were uploaded.)
So it may make some problems. (Of course it's not big. Just turn off and turn on. In many cases, there is no problem.)
I will upload stable samples at www.GalateaTechnology.com later. I already got stable version, but I can't upload these now.)
Have a nice day!

Interesting, so you're developing this engine on stock OGLES drivers. Have you considered using OpenVG for this? It seems the MSM7201A devices like the X1 also support OpenVG with a few modifications. If you're interested, you can find a modified 3D driver which has that support in my signature.
Great work by the way, it seems to run perfectly on my Blackstone. (Touch HD)
wow!the demos run very smooth on my diamond!
i can't download from your website, it gives no download links
Can someone upload the sample's so people like me that arnt able to download them from the source website, can test them out =D

You can find links on upper right side of that article.
Anyway I uploaded STABLE VERSION SAMPLES on that article.
Little bit updates and I packed samples with two resolutions. (WVGA & WQVGA)
Please check this at the link.
And if you still can't download it, I'll upload these on our official website.

Well Why not buy a windows phone?...The htc HD2 can run windows and android to, u can use even MIUI on it
As for webOS, it's very fun to use and stable...don't know why hp stopped producing tablets and the Pre3 because the os is smooth and stable
For the moment i just installed preware on it, and will run a 720p video to see how it works

No, we cannot do it! it's a fake video, just change the bootanimation and a program that seems a windows interface, that's all.
I ran windows on this phone. I ran windows xp and 95 its very very slow and work on this isn't good. Very lag.
You can't install windows on gt540 but You can run emulator.
Just google "win95 for androi" and You will find it.
You have also tutorials on youtube, just search : "how to run and install windows 95 0n android"
I hope I helped

Haha, why not? It is great idea hah. It will be a piece of **** but very fun challenge hah
I don't think it's possible
Papu Singh using lg gt540
Porting Windows isn't possible (normal Windows versions because of different CPU architecture, x86 vs ARM).
The WindowsPhone also is impossible to port because of LG GT540 hardware (for example ARMv6 CPU instead ARMv7).
If you want your GT540 to look (in terms of software) to look as close to WindowsPhone8 as it's possible, use for example launcher called "Windows8 Launcher" from Play Store.
How funny r u :banghead:
Sent from my GT540 using xda app-developers app
Seriously? Why would anyone need to do such a terrible thing LOL
