settings>system>screen>text size
this only works for some programs though (not the start menu)
And the average turnaround time is like 2 or 3 hours, so be patient.

I do not know how to do that, but I managed to map hardware button to slide.exe. To do that you have to create a link to it (for example to programs folder). Then you can map this link via Settings >> Buttons. Only issue I am having is that the time is lagging two hours on Slider screen.

Just a guess - I don't have the application installed and haven't had that program but your phone has to clock settings Home -> Visting. Maybe your phone is accidentally set to Visiting clock and the home clock is off by a bit and the applications are pulling the time from the Home clock? It's a shot in the dark guess but worth a shot!
Well

Thanks for the reply that was actually the first thing that i checked when i noticed the problem
Clock Off
Best guess I can give is that the time isn't being adjusted for time zone. Mine is 5 hours ahead and I am in US Central time zone (GMT -6) so it is close to Greenwich mean time.
I would try to fix this myself since the source is provided but I need a developers kit and a compiler...
Edited:
Actually if I remember correctly (big IF) daylight savings time is a US thing so with DST right now that would put the offset right at GMT.
anybody figure out how to fix the timing issue

If anyone have some good idea how to improve it, post please!!!
Nice idea, but one little suggestion.
Why not change the display order, like:
Hours
Minutes
Seconds
I think that would make it lot better.

nice if there was an option in the menu to display a standard digital clock on the screen simultaneously so those that do not understand binary can learn.

i would like it in a today plugin... but maybe something like this:
h:m:s
0010:010100:110001
all on one line and nice and neat. I would love it just like that
P.S i love that i can hide the 32 16 8 4 2 1 above the binary values so keep that
So, if i've understand well, when a 1 is put you'll need to sum to find what time is it, correct ?
Why no to put it like the binary clocks, like these ones :
This should be very funny to read !

wow another geeky program to further obfuscate my XDA.

Help with Today Screen

Hi there, fantastic forum.
I came across the attached image. Does anyone know where I can find the "time" addon, cab file or configuration software that allows me to have the same time format as shown in the image?
I like the default home screen but now thinking that the time takes up too much space.
If it dosnt exist, does anyone know where i can start looking to edit my existing home screen..
Cheers n thanks.Mally.
Settings>System>Regional Settings>Time> must be like:
H:mm:ss
P.S need to restart your phone
with that u can change 12\24 time not how big will be the clock
Thanks for the reply, I did dive that a try, all it does is display the clock in different ways. Still takes up 1/3 of the screen.

thanks a lot exactly what i was looking for now i can delete the 15 fish slide 2 unlock cabs lol
for future refernce what size image file would i be using if i want to add my own wallpaper in the slide2unlock, anyone know
the portrait one has to be 240x320...and if you dont know how to change ur pic this is what you do....connect your phone to ur computer...then go on the phone files, click on program files, s2u2, gfx, then go down till you see a jpg pic....there should be 2 of em....one will say wallpaper.jpg and another that says wallpaperL.jpg the wallpaperL one is the landscape one (sideways). to change the picture u have to delete the old ones and put it new ones...make shure u replace them with the same size pics. and rename them both to wallpaper.jpg and wallpaperL.jpg hope this helps!
yes it helped, i ahd changed background before but was using the wrong size pics so now i can have the wallpaper i want, thanks so much
So how do you change the time format to 12hr?
I think the S2U2 has it set to display whatever format you have your phone time set at. I used that a lot before but it began bogging my fone down and sometimes had trouble answering call but overall pretty good app. www.Freewarepocketpc.net has a lot of good things for beginners and typically has reference pics/ (^.^)

Daylight savings time mess with new manila - help!

Can we please work towards a solution for the daylight savings time error with the new manila. When the system clock changes to the new time manila is behind by an hour. All appointments on TF3D are shown an hour early - this has made my week hell when checking for times of meetings etc..
I used the search and saw this issue mentioned but no one seems to be working towards a solution for this. Its a real problem

Correct. I tried MS updates - it does not help Manila
had the same issues, still not resolved, damn
im going to try using advanced config to disable the auto daylight savings time update setting.
Also ensure your phone options are set to automatically update timezone or the time of your threaded sms responses will mess up

I also noticed that Manila sets the time zone wrong. When I select "Milwaukee", a city in the "Central US" time zone, Manila selects "Sakatchewan", which is in the same time zone apperantly, but the clock is still an hour off. I always have to go to the original WM settings page to set this right.

If you do this in the manilla file in the last columm there are the time zones.
The solution is add to yor time zone 60 more
lets say London change from 0 to -60
Paris from -20 to -120
Athens from -120 to -180 Put it in the windows dir
and you are ok
This is not a permanent solution because you have to change it back in the change of winter time.
This is a bug in all topaz and rhodium based roms (and perhaps in all hd roms)
The manilla 2clock takes the time from the file 2330fc3c_manila which is different
from previus manilla 1 file it has an extra columm in database with timezone
and does not know about summer time.

Did not work for me. After suggested change I got correct time shift for Moscow time, but once I set Moscow in settings-system-clock, I get two versions of Moscow time in Manila. One that I changed is called just Moscow. And another one is called GMT+3 Moscow which is one hour behind. In either case if I pick Moscow in Manila with correct time, or GMT+3 Moscow and adjust time, after I hit Done, system time becomes Abu Dhabi GMT+4 instead of Moscow. Gosh...

DONT WORRY ABOUT Abu Dhabi GMT+4 in system clock
1 Set the correct time inside tf3d time tab add city Moscow delete the system time that says GMT+3 Moscow
2 Active sync your device
3 Open a gps navigation program to lock sattelites and you will see that everything is ok
No more time change.
Is there liekly to be a fix from HTC for this?
I don't really know what their policy is on bug fixes.
